Time of Reading 10:40 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Enquiring mind, who seeks at this time information which will enable him to formulate some method of determining the time of the beginning and end of short moves of from three to thirty days in individual stocks and in the Dow-Jones industrial averages and also the beginning and end of such moves based on the relative strength of buying and selling pressure; or if it would be more satisfactory advise him regarding the interpreting of methods of others concerning which he will present questions. 1. EC: Yes, we have the enquiring mind, [826], present in this room; and the work which has been done by the entity in determining factors influencing the rise and fall of stocks; the sale, their activities and the like.
2. In giving information of such a nature, as we find it would be well first to warn the entity; as to what such information would do to the mental and spiritual self - in the power that would be invested in an individual activity - if there were those factors determined that would preclude any shadow of failure in an activity of such a nature.
3. These then should be considered first by the entity, before making any definite understanding or activity in those directions:

Remember what have been the influences, and gain the lessons of what has been the outcome of individuals in every walk of life that have become endowed with - or who have attained to - a position in the material things of the earth, that have controlled men and their activities in dealing with their fellow men, relative to mediums of exchange that have been the factors in shaping the destinies of nations and groups.
5. Look at the happenings to one Wu, in the City of Gold, when there was established the medium that controlled what is now soon to bring the shedding of blood by the many in that far eastern shore.

6. Look at what came to the Caesars, that with their activities brought the various factors into the experiences of the few for controlling the mediums of exchange in the varied lands over which they in turn ruled.
7. While it is true there are many factors that enter into the making of activities in political, in economic, in the affairs of the heart and body - all played at various times a different part in the whole; yet it is the exercising of the power, the influence that arises from knowledge of what things are to do as reference TO the mediums of exchange or activities among the fellow man.
8. In thine OWN day and age, look at what happened to those as in the era when Leiter [?] [Joseph Leiter, capitalist, son of Levie Z. Leiter, born Chicago 1868, died Chicago 1932?] chose to use such knowledge, such an understanding of those conditions and commodities that dealt with the very food of the world.
9. Look at those in the more recent of Livingston [?] [Jesse Livermore?] [Gerald Livingston?], when the break came in twenty-nine ('29) and swept him, with others that became the factors in the activities of the money powers of the earth.
10. And look at what their bodies, minds and souls are today!
11. Are ye willing, then, to pay such a price?
12. Are ye willing that such shall be thine OWN temptation? that ye are to build within thine experience that which will give thee, in thine own personal self, the right to say Yea and Nay to thy brother in want here and there?
13. Are ye willing to take, rather, that of knowledge - as Elisha, thine OWN helpmeet oft - and not look for the power as may bring self effacement [self destruction?] but to use same in such a manner as that the lowliest, yea those in authority, yea thy fellow man that ye meet day by day will call thee blessed?
14. Or is it POWER alone ye seek?
15. As to the manners, then - these ye MUST determine within thine OWN consciousness; and these ye would weigh well with thy purpose through this material experience.
16. For know, ye ARE constantly meeting thine OWN self! Not that an individual is not to be endowed with purposes, desires and the like in relationship to his fellow man - or to conditions of every nature whether they be social, economic, political or what not. But for what purpose are these positions chosen by thyself?
17. Are ye to keep well-balanced? Are ye to keep the influences and the activities in those directions in which ye may know ever that thy purpose is that the glory of the

Father-God is to be daily manifested in thy dealings with thy fellow man?
18. Or are ye to become a lord, a god within thine own right; that ye may say to this one, "Go," or to this one "Stay" and he doeth it?
19. These ye must weigh well.
20. Choose thou. For today, ever - as today, there is set before thee life and death, good and evil; choose thou.
21. As to individuals' activities in relationships to short moves of stocks and the like; that manner which has been chosen by Arthur Cohen is nearer to the manner than any now being applied in the market. And what is he doing with same?
22. As to means or finance or money, over-flowing. As to mental and physical and spiritual - a rake, a wreck!
23. Yet these from figures, from data, are gathered as this:
24. All factors enter into producing an influence, yet all of these factors are as naught when there are groups or combines of one mind that determine - for the day, for the week, for the month - to control an individual stock. Yet general trend, the purpose when there is considered the astrological, the numerological and the activities of those that go to make any individual stock's activity - what is the purpose of that group association or corporation?
25. If it is that they are to serve their fellow man in a manner commensurate with the effort expended by the corporation, then such a stock may be judged and the trend may be seen - by the combination of the influences astrologically and numerologically of the organization of such a corporate activity.
26. When those influences arise that come from fear or of unforeseen acts, that are called of the nature that arise from unnatural or from acts of God - then these factors become as naught.
27. Yet he that has set his purpose for determining for the GOOD OF THE ALL, and not for SELF, may be forearmed by being forewarned.
