Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [843]; this we have had before.
2. Now, as we find, there are considerable changes in the general physical forces of the body, and these in the main are for the betterment of the general physical conditions.
3. These, then, are the conditions and the changes as we find indicated in this body, [843] we are speaking of, present in the room:
4. First, we find the BLOOD SUPPLY does not carry as much of the toxic forces or poisons as has been indicated before. This does not mean that the causes of the disturbances have been wholly eradicated, but that the basis or that which produced these conditions has been aided; and from those directions that will mean for the system the eradication of the disturbance in this direction.
5. The general physical forces of the body show some improvements, too. The mental attitude, the mental outlook upon the conditions as surround the body, as well as the general physical reactions, make for improvements; in that those conditions as indicated in the digestive forces of the system are more in accord. While there is still some thickening of tissue in the upper portion, or the cardiac portion of the stomach itself, this does not show or indicate any ulcerations or lacerations in the present. The tendency for the pulling as occurs is in the upper portion of the stomach itself at times and is rather - as indicated - where the mucous membrane and the flow of the acids from the lower portion of the stomach or from the duodenum proper, are affected; so that the pylorus as well as the cardiac portion show irritations, yet not as severe as has existed in the system. Also there is an improvement shown in that tendency for regurgitation, also the acidity not only in the gland secretions throughout but in the mouth, or
843-2 Page 2
about the ducts that secrete the fluids that make for the mastication. And these tend to make for better lacteal flow in the stomach proper and to reduce those tendencies of the fullness in the lower portions of the stomach. The emptying of same is better, so that the digestive forces and the digestive secretions that arise from liver, spleen, pancreas, gall duct and its activity, show the tendency for that activity which has begun by the use of the balancing of the properties that should be secreted by the ducts, the glands of the system as related to proper assimilations for the body. While these have not made for the entire improvement as there should be, the tendencies are in the proper directions. Hence, as we would find, there would be very little change in the ministrations for the correction and the improvements of the general condition. Those reactions from a portion of those things indicated for the body, owing to the character of the properties as used or their preparations in same - as from the elm - make for an irritation to the ducts and glands as of the salivary reaction in the mouth, producing an irritation and also making for the reaction in the lower portion of the epiglottis or the entrance into the stomach in those portions of the upper part or the cardiac portion. Yet, without the use of same, some improvement has been shown.
6. The only change as we find we would make in those ministrations as given would be to add Olive Oil in small quantities.
7. Keep all of those things as given, including the Ash for the relieving or allaying of that tendency for inflammation that may be overcome by the use of same activating with the releasing of the greater quantities of oxygen for the system, that overcomes these tendencies.
8. We would add a little Olive Oil in minute does along with the Yellow Saffron tea; for the activity of this upon the gastric flows from the stomach, from the duodenum, from the secretions in the body itself.
9. In the preparation of the Saffron we would use a gram to about four ounce of water. Distill to steep this just about as you would tea. Set aside, and use a teaspoonful of this in a half a glass of water two to three times a day, dependent upon its reaction with the system; not at meal times, preferably at other times.
10. When this has been taken and has, as it were, been assimilated by the system, then take about a half to a quarter teaspoonful of the Olive Oil; then it will act with the gastric flow.
11. The rest of the application we would keep in the order
843-2 Page 3
outlined, as we would also the diet, the general activity, the general activities mentally and physically that will make for the greater improvement in this body.
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) What is the cause of the intermittent pain in the cardiac end of my stomach? (A) The natural reaction that arises from the wall of the stomach itself being somewhat thickened by those tendencies or conditions as have been indicated; necessitating, then, as indicated, the allaying of those tendencies for the accumulation of the lymph circulation to these portions of the system.
14. (Q) What causes the cardiac end of my stomach to cramp when I sneeze? (A) The natural reaction from the spasmodic condition that is produced along the trachea and bronchial by a sneeze, which pulls up - you see on that portion of the body. Well after such that here be given, or each day this would not be too much, a deep vibration of an electrically driven vibrator, or a general massage in the 3rd, 4th and 2nd dorsal area - which is from the sympathetic reactions to the cardiac portion of the stomach; 3rd and 4th cervical, which is for the reflex to the trachea and the bronchial to the superficial and deeper circulation to the lymph flow in the throat and the nasal passages, see, through the 3rd and 1st cervical and through the vagus nerve center.
15. (Q) What changes should be made in my diet - making for a better digestion and assimilation of food that now disagrees with me? (A) We would not change a very great deal in the diet. There may be changes in the quantity, or there may be some small changes in those things that are found to at the present somewhat disagree. There is needed those reactions from those food values in the system as indicated. That the body at times REBELS may be expected, but reduce quantities or alter in a small way or manner to make for more comfort, but not to eradicate entirely the effect of those food values needed, see?
16. (Q) How can I prevent the bran in whole wheat bread from irritating the sore spot in my stomach? (A) TOAST all the bread; dry toast, so that it will make for a breaking up of the atoms in same and will not produce as great an irritation, and yet does not destroy the food values for same.
17. (Q) Why does lamb, chicken and yolk of egg make me feel nervous and irritable?
843-2 Page 4
(A) These are the changes that are to be naturally expected when these have not been used in the diet and are changes to these, until the system somewhat adjusts itself to these changes. These carry the correct influences. The system having builded itself for those that may carry a greater quantity of the protein, a greater quantity of fat, a greater quantity of those elements that the system has builded as to some of the effluvia in the flow of the lymph or white blood circulation in digestive flow and system, these tend to make for apparently something lacking in the supply to the body. But take it slow, take it easy; and especially the vibrations of the low electrical forces equalize the circulation in these directions, see?
18. (Q) Several hours after taking the Ash the pain in my stomach is intensified, and my arms and legs seem to ache worse for 24 hours thereafter. Am I taking the Ash correctly? (A) Take the Ash by emptying it upon the tongue and washing down with water. And let the assimilations be gradually built. Drink more water when the Ash is taken, and this should soon disappear.
19. (Q) Should the negative wet cell battery anode be placed over the pain in the cardiac end of my stomach? (A) The larger plate or the negative plate should be placed over this portion.
20. (Q) Do I have any abnormal condition in my colon, and if so, what treatment should be given for same? (A) Well that every colon be cleansed occasionally with the colonic irrigations. Here, naturally, when the blood supply has been contaminated and there is the tendency for the accumulations through the colon, this makes for some of the cells or pockets in same to at times carry for too great a period those fecal forces that become irritating and heavy. Hence once a month, or once in two months, or more often if necessary, use an irritation [irrigation?]; but be sure, particularly for this body, that there is carried in the water an antiseptic so that no irritation is produced. Or in the first portion of the water used, to each half gallon of water used add a level teaspoonful of salt - preferably iodized salt - and a heaping teaspoonful of baking soda, in the tepid water. In the last water as used, put a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline to a quart of water, tepid. This tends to leave an alkalin condition and yet is an antiseptic for the whole system.
21. (Q) What causes me to remain awake for several hours after going to bed each night, and why does the lower part of my back and also my legs and feet ache and feel very nervous for the last hour before I drop off to sleep, and
843-2 Page 5
how can I relieve this condition? (A) Usually it arises from anxieties of the body in its going over or responding to the nervous reactions in the system, as from the nerve centers not relaxing nominally or properly. Just before retiring take the physical exercise, which maybe had in the room or outside, and then take a warm glass of milk or the like just before retiring. These would be helpful.
22. (Q) Will these treatments also relieve the pains in legs and feet? (A) These should be relieved especially by this relaxing and the character of the exercise.
23. (Q) Why do I usually burn, ache, and feel very tired when I awake each morning, and how can I correct this? (A) By keeping up those general exercises and activities as have been indicated. It is the lack of the circulation being properly distributed. As the body lies in bed of a morning, first wakening, gradually begin by the stretching exercise; swinging gradually of the lower limbs, exercising of the arms - this will gradually take away these conditions. Drink a glass of warm water, hot as may be taken, first on awakening; and this will be helpful to the throwing out and carrying out of the stomach those poisons or accumulations by the rest periods, see?
24. (Q) Why is my heart sensitive to such an extent that it skips beats when my stomach is super-acid or when my nervous system is upset by emotional stimulation? How can I correct this condition? (A) Following those suggestions as indicated will correct same. This is a natural effect of a disturbed circulation carrying toxic forces that makes for a tendency towards deadening of those nerve plexus that impel the heart's activity and this coordination with the lungs and liver in its activity, see? Hence these will be gradually overcome. Remember, as has been indicated, this has been a long time forming in the system; and the system has attempted to adjust itself to the conditions. There will be periods when there will be the tendency to feel that all of the condition is returning, by the burning in the stomach, by the change in the circulation and in the influences; but this is the system adjusting itself. Be patient and be persistent, and KNOW you are on the right track to correct the conditions and make them stay corrected!
25. (Q) What should I do to eliminate bad breath? (A) Keep up those activities as indicated; these are a portion of the accumulations of the effluvia about those portions as indicated and are thrown of naturally with the
843-2 Page 6
breath. Keep those things as suggested, of a morning and through the day, in those activities of the properties indicated; and these should overcome this condition.
26. (Q) Will the use of Ipsab cause my gums to be normal? (A) As the general change comes, this is most beneficial for the gums and for the irritation. Massage this thoroughly in the gums, rinsing the mouth with same and then rinsing the mouth, of course, with water.
27. (Q) What causes the right side of my nose to tingle when I touch the right side of the roof of my mouth with my tongue? (A) The natural reaction from tenderness there, by a depleted circulation removing, or lack of removing the drosses or the used forces from the portion of the system. These will gradually disappear.
28. (Q) Considering my physical condition, would it be best for me to remain in the life insurance business with my present company or would a different type of work enable me to better finance myself while I am taking treatment? (A) As we find, it would be preferable to at the present remain in the same type of work. This gives an opportunity for the body, with not too great a stress of strain, to have the exercise outside, see, which is the better for the body than ROTE in any particular way or manner just at the present. By the time the changes come about, or by the beginning of the early fall, then changes may be made in these directions.
29. (Q) Would it be best for me to remain in Washington for treatment and work or should I return to Asheville or go elsewhere? (A) We would remain in Washington for treatments. The surroundings are better.
30. (Q) Please give me any further advice that may aid me at this time. (A) Be patient with self; be patient with those conditions and things surroundings; knowing that which has caused the trouble or that has long disturbed the body is being reached with and through those things being administered. And as they are necessarily a growth in the body, so must the gradual changes come. Do that, being consistent yet being persistent; not as a matter of rote but KNOWING, feeling, seeing that is used and applied in its various ways and manners does bring, will bring, the desired effects in the body. Give out that which we have; in same ye find it better for self and the reactions are much better.
31. We are through for the present.
