Time of Reading 4:05 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [845].

2. Now, as we find, while the body-physical is very good in many respects, there are disturbances the correction of which if made in the present will prevent a great deal of disorder later on; and relieve the body from some disorders and a great deal of disturbance existing in the present.

3. These are rather of a specific nature, as we find, and arise from adhesions that exist from lack of the proper circulation; produced by infectious forces of a nature arising from cold or "flu" or congestion - or these all combined. The adhesions exist, as we find, in the area between the lacteal ducts and the caecum area. Hence those tautnesses that exist in this portion of the body; the feeling as of pulling at times on the right side, at others acute pain on the left side lower down. These extend across the lower portion of the abdomen and make for reactions in the nervous system.

4. Then, these are conditions as we find them with this body, [845] we are speaking of:

5. The BLOOD SUPPLY we find somewhat below normal, though the pressure indicated in the metabolism of the system is rather erratic at times - with a quick nervous reaction and at others very low and slow in the pulsation.

6. As for the elements carried in same, considering the nervous disorder, these are rather good. The coagulation makes for very good reactions. Yet the NUMBERS of the red AND white blood show somewhat a deficiency.

7. In the NERVOUS SYSTEM we find a great deal of disorder or disturbance that arises of a sympathetic nature. This makes for a quick movement or a jerking, as it were, at times through the plexus where there is the coordination between the deeper circulation and the superficial circulation in their currents to the general circulation through the system. Hence - from the nervous disturbance, from the

845-2 Page 2

indications of those conditions existent in the area indicated, through the upper dorsal and cervical area to the sympathetic system, from the secondary cardiac plexus to and through the soft tissue of face, through the antrum, through the interior and exterior portion - we have a tendency for a drying that makes for this poor superficial circulation. These, as we see, are SYMPATHETIC conditions; though if they are allowed to remain they must of themselves become rather of a constitutional nature. This makes some reaction through the shoulders and through the head and neck at times. These are all sympathetic conditions, and those applications for the correction here must necessarily make for only temporary relief unless the causes of the nervous conditions are removed.

8. Through the activity of the ORGANS themselves, we find:

9. As indicated, these are sympathetic in their reactions. As in the sensory forces, the throat and bronchi, that at times make for a drying and cause a cough at times; at others they make for a flow of the lymph to meet the needs of the conditions, when there is caused a rise of temperature - or those tendencies for flushes, and at other times the body feels entirely "washed out" or tired, limp, as from overexertion. This causes the nervous reactions that come at times, making for the depressed feelings - as when all conditions surrounding the body make for rather the pessimistic nature; but at other times, when there are the proper reactions, the natural or normal conditions are for an optimistic turn or reaction from the body.

10. Heart's action and the liver and the spleen, all show those tensions that are indicated through the lesions in the area given.

11. The activities through the eliminations - as through the alimentary canal, kidney area, respiratory system - show nervous reactions, as well as the lack of the functioning of the organs to produce the proper flow of lymph and emunctory activity through the body.

12. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions, as we find:

13. First we would have from three to six general, deep manipulative treatments, osteopathically given, making corrections as will be found necessary in the 3rd, 4th and 5th dorsal area. These treatments would be given about twice a week.

14. Then stop the treatments for two weeks. At the beginning of the second week of rest from the osteopathic manipulations, begin with the diathermy treatments and take two or three during that week. Make the anode applications

845-2 Page 3

to the 2nd and 3rd dorsal, or between the 2nd, 3rd and 4th dorsal plexus area, and the other in the lacteal duct area - to increase the circulatory forces. This should be rather low in its form, and the treatment should last for twenty to thirty minutes - but low in the form of the current. Take three or four of such treatments.

15. Rest then from any and all of the treatments for a week.

16. Then begin again with the osteopathic manipulations, and take six or eight more - general manipulative treatments, osteopathically given.

17. Keep the diet in more of an alkaline-reaction; or a general alkaline reaction with body, blood and nerve building foods as the BASIS of the food values. That is, while there would be periods when there would be a great deal of the reactions as to make for a hydrochloric formation for the system to create the effluvia to make for digestive forces through the system, the main diet would be of the alkaline-reacting and blood building foods. Sweets and starches would NOT be combined together, then. Have days when only almost starchy foods are taken, and then rest from these and have a general alkaline-reacting diet. Then have other days when there would be only the creating of more heat for the body, as from sweets - but the sweets would be the NATURAL sweets; as fruits, honey, nuts and the like; let these form the principal part of the diet for two or three days at the time. Then follow the general diet.

18. Keeping these in this way and manner, we find we will build the body to a normal condition.

19. Ready for questions.

20. (Q) Please examine the teeth and specify the ones that are pressing on any nerve as to cause pain. (A) Those in the upper back molars, especially on the right side.

21. (Q) Should they be drawn, or what should be done? (A) There should be some local treatments. As we find, one in the rear - or in the back - one only needs to be drawn, as we find.

22. (Q) Give necessary information as to eyes. (A) With the correction of the conditions of the nervous system, the creating of influences for the balancing of the nerve reactions, we find the specific corrections for the eyes may come about - by the general manipulative forces for the reaction TO the sympathetic nervous force between the cerebrospinal, the sympathetic and the sensory organisms - which will be, of course (the manipulative forces), in the upper dorsal and throughout the cervical.

23. (Q) Is there any specific trouble with the fifth nerve?

845-2 Page 4

(A) No specific trouble with the fifth nerve. The tic (as called) is produced from the pressure or the adhesion in that area indicated, which pulls onto the nerves to the 3rd and 4th dorsal center, which acts with those (in its reaction) to the vagus center, which - with the application of the diathermy (the HEAT, you see, which is the reaction from the diathermy) - will be released and cause the system to relax.

24. (Q) What causes the chest colds? (A) As indicated. The poor circulation and the taking of the activity from the deeper circulation to the superficial circulation, produced by the nervous energy as used up in the areas we have shown - in the dorsal and upper cervical.

25. (Q) What should be done about the headache? (A) Take the treatments as outlined, for the headaches!

26. (Q) Are cigarettes harmful to me? (A) With cold, of course, the acid that arises from the activity of burned tobacco - especially in cigarette - makes for an irritation to the mucous membranes. But when the conditions are corrected, these are natural reactions.

27. (Q) Is it possible for me to have children? (A) Not until there are some corrections made in those areas as we have indicated.

28. (Q) Any particular information that would be helpful during menstrual periods? (A) When these corrections are made in the areas indicated, the pressures that cause the contraction of the organs in the activity of the pelvis will produce nearer normal activity. This congestion makes for the pressure upon the ovaries which makes for a contraction through these areas. When these periods are at hand, the use of the Radio-Active Appliance will be MOST helpful. Make the applications in THIS manner: One anode would be attached first to the 4th lumbar center. Then the other anode would be attached at the pubic bone. This would be kept on for an hour to an hour and a half. It will be found that it will relax the body sufficient for the producing of the much easier periods when there are these activities.

29. (Q) Would it be advisable for me to change my place of employment? (A) The correction of the physical forces will make the outlook upon activities MUCH more congenial, and much better. The change of place is not so important as the change of the OUTLOOK upon life! Make the self in accord or in attune with conditions; then you can make the surroundings and make self and all concerned much different!

30. (Q) Is there anything I can do to help break my husband [1439] from drinking?

845-2 Page 5

(A) Give him this, and he'll never want to drink any more - it'll make him very sick if he does! Put into a capsule: Oil of Eucalyptus..................1 minim, Oil of Turp......................1/2 minim, Compound Tincture of Benzoin.....1/2 minim. Give him this.

31. (Q) How may it be given? (A) In a capsule!

32. (Q) Just one? (A) Just one. And then he'll vomit his boots up if he takes a drink! The SMELL of liquor will be abhorrent, even! Of course, he CAN overcome it - but it'll make him sick for the first year anyway!

33. (Q) To what extent am I called upon to endure present conditions? (A) Rather make the self in accord with the better physical forces, so the pressures upon the whole system are removed. Then the general outlook upon those conditions called upon to bear will be quite different. For those conditions that each and every person meets are merited, through its OWN activity. Do not blame others. Correct self and self's attitude towards Creative Forces. [See 1439-1 for her husband on 9/6/37.]
