1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [846].

2. Now, as we find, while there are many conditions that from time to time disturb the better physical functioning of the body, there may be the proper precautions taken as to make for the better assimilations through the system and better or greater radial activity of the blood supply; especially in reference to the activities through the respiratory system, through those things that make for the corrections in the centers where there are indications of subluxation. Hence adjustments may be made to correct the congestions in the coordinations between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system. And, with the mental attitude of the body kept in the direction of the greater constructive reactive forces for the system, we would bring the greater and better conditions for this body.

3. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [846] we are speaking of:

4. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find shows a lack of the proper distribution between the red blood and white blood supply. This, owing to the poor radial activity in which the assimilations have gone on in the body, makes for the unbalancing in the distributions; so that we have periods when the body has these as reactions from same: Tired feelings through various portions of the torso; heaviness in the lower limbs at times; dizziness at periods, especially after having relaxed. These are only passing indications of the disturbances in the circulatory system.

5. In the NERVOUS FORCES of the body, as indicated, we find there are subluxations in specific centers, where there has been the attempt through pressures created in ganglia along the system to make for the greater amount of circulation through affected portions that have disturbed the body at times. As in the 3rd and 4th dorsal area, that makes for the circulation through the lower portion of the lungs,

846-1 Page 2

through the digestive system, through those activities in the assimilations. Hence we have had periods when there have been those reactions in the lacteal ducts and the gall ducts where these have made for disturbances in the assimilations. These made for better connections or coordinations in these areas would bring bettered conditions for the whole general system, and overcome this condition or tendency for the secondary cardiac plexus to make for irritations to both the cardiac portion of the stomach and the heart's action and the liver circulation. These would make for bettered conditions in the system.

6. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, we find:

7. Brain forces are very good. The abilities in discernments of the body, in evaluations in their proper relationships to the mental and material forces of the body, of self and of others, are very good.

8. Those activities through the bronchi, lungs, the larynx, as well as the circulation to the soft tissue of the face that tends to make for a deep circulation through this subluxation in the upper dorsal area as well as making for a poor circulation through the superficial portions of the system. The pressure, or reliefs of pressure from those in the thorax would make for a better circulation through this portion, which would only make for a coordinating of the upper cervical areas with those in the 3rd and 4th dorsal subluxation.

9. In the activity of the heart, of the digestive forces, only sympathetic reactions do we find that disturb the body; and these only at periods when there have been those disturbances that have been indicated in the character of the circulation through these portions of the system.

10. Digestive area gives distresses at times through the sympathetic reaction in the cardiac portion of the stomach, making for the reflexes or the filling up of the stomach, as it were, so that there is the heaviness occurring across this portion of the diaphragm. Those disturbances in the gall duct area and lacteal ducts are sympathetic, though the sedimentary conditions that exist there need those stimulations through the circulation and the increase of the eliminations in and through the alimentary canal to clear the systems of these tendencies for poisons there.

11. In meeting, then, the needs of the conditions:

12. As we would find, those that would be the better would be the sinusoidal reaction to the 3rd and 4th dorsal with the lacteal and gall duct area; so as to EMPTY these and to stimulate the circulation through this portion of the body. These we would take about twice a week until six had been

846-1 Page 3

taken. Then about four or five more taken once a week should be sufficient to make for the proper stimulation. These should be on the reverse and NOT too high in the amperage in the treating, see?

13. Also we would stimulate through the manipulations in the dorsal and the cervical area, specifically, WITH a coordinating from the lumbar to the upper dorsal and cervical. These would be about once a week until about six or eight would be taken. These should be sufficient for the corrections.

14. In the diet keep more in an ALKALIN-reaction; with THESE as tabu - as it were - for the diet: Any acids or condiments or white bread, potatoes, raw apples, bananas; for all of these are hard upon those tendencies indicated by the subluxations in the system, and that have been builded in the assimilating system. Do these, and - as we find - we would bring the bettered conditions for this body.

15. Ready for the questions.

16. (Q) What will relieve the low blood pressure, colitis and the nerve exhaustion? (A) As indicated. These arise from those subluxations in the dorsal area, you see. The congestion that arises from these, or the tendency to produce the irritation through the eliminating system or throughout the colon itself, arises from the sedimentary conditions or congestions in the lacteal duct and in the gall duct area. The application of the sinusoidal rays, you see, making the applications of the plates or anodes in the 3rd and 4th dorsal, with the other anode or plate over the lacteal and the gall duct area. These, to be sure, taken about twice each week until six have been taken. Then four to six more taken about once each week. These should be made with the reverse coil, you see, on the machine, and not of the high voltage but of the electrical forces passing through the system. The manipulations or osteopathic adjustments and manipulations coordinating those subluxations in the dorsal area with the cervical and lumbar should relieve those conditions. When it becomes necessary for the greater or better eliminations, these by the dilations or colonic irrigations are much preferable to any cathartics.

17. (Q) Is olive oil and the yolk of eggs and mineral oil good to relieve the constipation? (A) These might be good, but we would find that the application of those things suggested will remove the cause

846-1 Page 4

- for they are not as those things that go with or for the alleviation without removing the causes. These, as we would give, would be the better. Olive Oil in SMALL quantities is ALWAYS good for the whole of the intestinal system. QUANTITIES are not advisable, unless taken as an emit - and then it would be under a different status entirely. The dosage should be about half a teaspoonful two to three to four hours apart, just as much as the body will assimilate. But these we would NOT advise unless we are to have those corrections that have been indicated, stimulating the activity and those tendencies for the adhesions or congestions in the areas as indicated.

18. (Q) Is it alright to take the olive oil and the yolk of eggs as food? (A) It's very good. These may be taken on the green vegetables if it is preferable to the body, for the taste of the body, but these taken in small quantities are always good for the system.

19. (Q) How much olive oil on a salad at a meal? (A) Teaspoonful.

20. (Q) What doctor in Norfolk is best for the sinusoidal treatments and the manipulations? Is Dr. Bright good? (A) Dr. Bright is good. [S. H. Bright, D.O.]

21. (Q) Do I really get superior vibrations at night enough to justify my working at night rather than day? (A) As we have indicated heretofore, there are those individuals that will find that between one and two or two and two-thirty are the greater periods for work. The vibrations for most are higher during such periods. These for this body would justify same, provided there is taken seven and a half to eight hours of REST every twenty-four!

22. (Q) Please give specific diet, what to eat and not to eat. (A) We have given those NOT to eat. The rest should be taken as indicated, those that make for a general and better alkalin-reaction. This would be an outline, though it may be altered to suit the tastes; bewaring of those things indicated: Mornings - citrus fruit juices or cereals. At least once or twice a week it would be well to have cereals of the whole wheat with barley, or that combined in Maltex is well provided it is well prepared. DO NOT have cereals at the same meal with citrus fruits or citrus fruit juices; though they may be taken an hour or more apart, for their combination with the gastric juices of the stomach produces rather an acid than an alkaline. Coddled egg, the yolk of same but not the white, may be taken; and toast with butter, a cereal drink, any of these may be taken at the breakfast

846-1 Page 5

or morning meal. In the middle of the day, or at least ONE meal a day - whether in the middle of the day or in the evening - should consist almost entirely of raw fresh vegetables; as tomatoes, celery, lettuce, carrots, spinach, onions, radishes and the like. These are more preferable to be taken with an oil or salad dressing. The other meal should consist of well cooked vegetables, in a combination of three leafy to one of the pod, to two of the pod to one of those that grow under the ground. If meats are taken, only fish, lamb or fowl. No fried foods at any time.

23. (Q) What about cheese? (A) Cheese is not as well for the body, this particular body, as some others; unless it is fresh - and this is not as palatable to the body as others. Yogurt and such combinations, which arise as the basis for cheese, is very good; especially for the colon condition. Honey in the honeycomb, and only with the comb, should be the greater part of that taken as sweets. A stimulation occasionally as of wine with bread, not as a drink but just as a potion to bring rest to the body. When taken it should only be taken with rye or sour or brown bread.

24. (Q) Until I get better, when I have a headache what can I do to relieve it? (A) As we would find, if these are begun we will have very few returns of the headache - which comes from this heaviness upon the colon and the lacteal duct and the strain on the system. But when these occur, those of salicylic acid are the better; but keep away from these as much as possible.

25. (Q) Then there isn't anything really seriously wrong with me? (A) These conditions may BECOME serious; not serious in the present.

26. (Q) Any other suggestions or advice for the body at this time? (A) As indicated, keep the proper attitude with these; that is, apply those things suggested in the manner as indicated, keeping the attitude of helpfulness in all of its associations and relations, without animosity, and we will find the better conditions coming for this body.
