1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before.

2. Now, in the general physical conditions, these apparently show improvement throughout the system. There are those subtle conditions existent, however, that the body needs be warned concerning, that the eliminations be so organized, so accentuated at and through the proper channels and time, that these conditions may be entirely eliminated, and eradicated, from the system; else we will find in the various portions of system, especially where there is the effect of gland reaction, gland secretion not eliminated or not carried through proper channel, drosses from same that will produce in tissue, in the centers that radiate in the action of locomotion, disturbing elements that will bring distress and strain on the system. [GD's note: This was certainly a true prediction. See subsequent readings and eventual invalidism with rheumatoid or "static" arthritis.]

3. There needs to be kept also, while these conditions are being brought about, that of the high state of rebuilding in the blood supply, with the various vitamins necessary for proper replenishing and proper vitalization of the system, kept at a high or well balanced state. This, of course, may be done not only by the food or the diet, and the activity of the body mentally and physically, but also by the proper vibrations being kept in the system by the added elemental chemical forces that produce, in the various reactions of same in various organs of the body, that necessary to keep the proper stimulation, so that, as the eliminations are accentuated and are kept going nominally in the body, these will build and act with the various portions of the body in bringing about a normal force for the physical conditions of the body. These, then, we would find in this:

4. First, it would be well that the body - at least once each week - have a good Turkish bath; rubbed down well after

same, first with rough salt, then followed with a combination of the Nujol oil one ounce, Witch Hazel one ounce, Olive Oil one ounce, Tincture of Myrrh one-half ounce. This used as a rub, followed with alcohol, see? Do not cut this with the alcohol, but FOLLOW same WITH the alcohol. See? First the salt rub, then the application of this combination of oils for the eliminations and for the various portions of the lymphatic circulation, and then followed with the alcohol rub. This, as we see, will rid the system of these conditions in the joints, in and about the centers from the glands' secretion, and the whole general eliminations be kept nearer nominal.

5. Well that the conditions that have existed in and through the organs, as have been disturbed, be cleansed occasionally with pure water, using this only as injection. No use of drug or chemical application to same, provided these conditions are kept as have been given for the eliminations.

6. Take THIS as a chemical reaction for the system. Especially does this active principle come with the recuperation of the conditions as have been produced in the genitive system and the whole of the glands about and through this portion of the body. First we would take three (3) ounces of garden sage. Put this in sixteen (16) ounces of distilled or rain water. Reduce by simmering (not boiling) to one-half (1/2) the quantity. Strain. Then add Oil of Juniper one-quarter (1/4) ounce, Sweet Spirits of Nitre (working against each other, but in this combination it will be different in its reaction in system) twenty (20) minims, Rectified Oil of Turp ten (10) minims. Cut three (3) drams Balsam of Tolu in two (2) ounces grain alcohol and add to same. Dissolve one-half (1/2) ounce Rock Candy in hot water and add to same. Not sugar, either beet or the other, but that combination as is necessary with the glucose as is prepared from Rock Candy. Do not beat up same before dissolving, but put it IN the hot water and dissolve, see? Add THIS to solution. Four (4) minims of Oil of Cinnamon.

7. The dose of this (shaken well together) will be teaspoonful twice each day. Very well to eat a little rosin occasionally.

8. Keep the mind well balanced. Keep the physical activities in a nominal condition with the activities of the mental forces of the body. Keep in the open as oft as possible, and out of night air! Do not overtax the body by too much of night study, or night living. When it gets dark GO TO BED! When it gets light get up and go to work - see?

9. The diet will be those as have been outlined, abstaining from meats or butter, but as much of the vegetable forces as

849-4 Page 3

possible; especially tomatoes - these are WELL for the body, PROPERLY prepared. The fruit only when well ripened on the vine; not as gathered green and ripened afterward. That that is well ripened, seasoned with salt, pepper, and if vinegar is preferable - or sugar and vinegar - this would be well to use with same. Okra, beets, carrots, and such. These are well for the body. As also spinach. And as an ADDED condition, there may be taken Beef, Iron and Wine in its combination - Wyeth's preferable.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) What rules should be followed as to general health, especially that of the nervous system? (A) Those as we have given.

12. (Q) Should alcoholic beverages be entirely eliminated or indulged in moderately? (A) Sufficient is being applied in that that's being given.

13. (Q) At what time may violent physical exercise be resumed, and in what quantities? (A) Only after the conditions are eliminated, especially from the extremities and from the joints and from the sinew of the body. Then not violent. GRADUALLY should the body return to the normal physical or gymnastic exercises, that will be well as the system IS corrected.

14. (Q) What specific treatment should be accorded the afflicted members, including the right knee, which is still in a swollen and weakened state? (A) That as has been given; especially as to not getting wet and NOT STAYING OUT AT NIGHT!

15. (Q) At what time approximately will a complete cure be effected, and at what time after that may all treatment and restriction be stopped? (A) If this is followed as has been GIVEN here, thirty to sixty days should find the body almost ENTIRELY RELIEVED and the conditions ERADICATED from the system; yet weaknesses still will appear. THEN may the body return to nearer NORMAL, as has been the life of the physical activities of the body. We are through with this reading.
