Time of Reading 11:20 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [849]; this we have had before.
2. Now as we find, there are the disturbing conditions that are arising from an OVERAPPLICATION of influences and forces in the body to stop or allay an infectious force.
3. Thus we are producing in the activities of the lymph, especially the knee where the injury or the operative forces and the applications of the very high electrical vibrations have made a condition where there is the tendency for a giving away or the inability of the elements in the minutia or the lymph and the inability of the emunctory activity of the blood supply, the inclination to become lacking in the hormones necessary to prevent atrophy in the cellular force.
4. This condition in its incipiency or beginning has made for the tendency of the body to give way to that limb in activity. This throwing the body out of balance has tended to produce in the ileac plexus and in the center above the sacrals a jamming on the one side and an OPENING as it were on the other.
5. These produce then to the heads of the sciatic centers the impulse for lack of the proper return of the blood flow to the system for its purification.
6. Hence we have periods when there is the tendency for the feeling of a fullness, when the actual activity is a contraction as indicated within.
7. Now as we find, in making the applications in the present:
8. It would be well osteopathically to continue periodically to make the proper adjustments throughout the sacral, the coccyx and the lower dorsal centers, relieving the pressures from the nerves to the lower limbs. Include, to be sure, the feet movement; that the bursa in the feet do not become, through this continued tendency, inclined to make for a drying in the lymph and the emunctory centers at the heads of the muscular forces; that the bursa do not become lacking

in sufficient of the fluids to produce the activity in the body; else we will have a stiffness to occur.
9. We would prepare an element or a compound for a perfect massage for the limb, for the feet, for the lumbar and sacral areas. This do at least twice or three times each week, evenings preferably. Prepare the compound in this manner: Mutton Suet..........................1 ounce, Spirits of Turpentine................1 ounce, Spirits of Camphor...................1 ounce, Compound (not the plain, but Compound) Tincture of Benzoin...1/4 ounce, Oil of Sassafras....................60 drops. These will separate, but when they are ready to be used, stir well together; then massage into this portion of the body - the limbs, especially the left limb and the knee and the ankle, the muscular forces under the knee, the sacral and the lumbar - all the body will absorb.
10. If pain comes at times, those portions wrapped in heated flannel will help. This doesn't necessitate that there be applications of the massaging ingredients on the flannel, if put on just after the massage has been given.
11. In the diet, keep those things that are body and blood building. Well to add the enzymes, those as prepared for such activities; that is:
12. The Ventriculin - preferably in the present that WITHOUT the iron. These are concentrated properties and will add, with the massage and with the keeping of the proper diet, more of the hormone activity of the blood supply.
13. Keep away from hard liquors. Wines may be taken but as food, NOT as drink. Hence red wine or heavy wine or light wines may be taken, but NOT in excess - and as food, NOT as drink.
14. Use the Radio-Active Appliance in series. Use for two weeks, each day. Then leave off for two weeks. Then take again for two weeks. Leave off for two weeks, and then again - etc.
15. The massages, the corrections, should be kept periodically; that there is NOT the tendency with the inclinations for the body to give to the weakness in the limb; a perfect alignment through the coccyx, the sacral, the lumbar and, of course, throughout the dorsal and cervical area.
16. The ADJUSTMENTS will be made mostly in lumbar, coccyx and sacral.
17. The massage with the properties should be circular in
849-19 Page 3
motion, but cover the whole areas indicated.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) Will this check the atrophying of the muscles of the right leg and thigh? (A) This will check the atrophying of the muscles in the limbs.
20. (Q) Can leg be brought to normal? (A) Try it! It's worth trying! It will, if there are the applications in the manners indicated.
21. (Q) Any further advice? (A) Keep constructive thought. No animosity, no hard feelings for those, or overanxieties or depressing conditions from making for resentments to those, that caused much of the disturbance. USE rather the disturbance as a means for more patience, more longsuffering, more understanding.
