Time of Reading 11:30 to 12:00 Noon Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. Considering the present new surroundings and conditions, you will advise us in detail regarding a system of treatment to bring this body back to normal health. You will answer the questions which will be asked:
2. EC: Yes.
3. In considering the conditions which exist in the present, it would be well that those who would make application for helpful influence understand for what and how there may be added that needed in the system in the present for the producing, or for the bringing back of much nearer to normal conditions, or normal physical ACTIVITY of the body - as should be sought.
4. We find in the present that the conditions within the body-physical itself are VERY hopeful. There is the expectancy in not only the mental attitudes but in the reactions of associations between that assimilated by the physical forces and the ability of the system, though depleted to a great extent, to be in that position where recuperative forces may be brought - if the physical conditions of the body through the assimilating system are considered and worked with properly - through adding those influences and forces necessary for the growing back to a more complete physical activity.
5. To be sure, the nerve forces and centers are the bases of impulse. Those in many of the ganglia, especially as related to the muscular forces and tendons along the extremities, have been - or WERE at one time - almost completely destroyed. That which has gradually been added to the system, in the elements and vital forces necessary, has to a great extent PREPARED the ganglia for reception of assimilated forces as would build back more of the impulse for the activity, the growth of nerve ends, the stimulation of ganglia and centers, ESPECIALLY in the areas where
849-37 Page 2
cerebrospinal and the sympathetic or superficial nerve systems make the closer response of connection one with another.
6. From the great nerve strain which the body has undergone, the inclinations - to be sure - are for the locomotory centers to become static - especially the lumbar and sacral and coccyx area - by either their drainages or lack of ability to apply or supply the impulse for the locomotory forces through the lower limbs; owing to those centers especially in the knee, the feet, the bursa as it were of the joints of the body becoming either too much inflamed as to cause excruciating pain or becoming lacking in sufficient of the assimilated forces to supply sufficient energies to those activities. Hence these inclinations are those things to be prevented.
7. Activity is needed - but that there may become either of these extremes in the manner just indicated is that which HAS caused and does cause most of those studying such conditions to become to pessimistic about final results.
8. But now that there has been Gold added to the system, and the other elements - the silver and the like, there should be the ability for better assimilation and the distribution of the needed elements throughout the system.
9. NOW we would change the use of the electrical vibratory forces - though we would continue the use of the Gold, but this now, in this solution, only every third day - for one hour.
10. Also every third day there would be used the Spirits of Camphor, for one hour, in a manner to add those elements with the nerve energies to assist in the circulatory forces so as to keep down or prevent inflammatory conditions through those areas where there is an activity of the circulatory forces. The attachments for THIS solution should be, the first anode to the LUMBAR axis, or 4th lumbar, while the other - passing through the solution - would be to the lacteal duct and umbilical plexus; or upon the body, three fingers to the right from the navel or umbilical center.
11. Every third day also there should be used the Atomidine, - this in half commercial strength. The first attachment for this should be to the 9th dorsal center, upper portion, or that plexus for the activity of the lower extremities, or the impulses to the lower limbs, see; while the other - passing through the solution - should be to the umbilical plexus the same as before. This also would be attached for one hour - every third day, you see.
12. Of course, do not use the same connections for the various solutions - that is, do not use the - Atomidine
849-37 Page 3
connections in the Camphor or the Gold.
13. But one of these solutions would be used each day, you see; but have them in regular rotation, and one each third day as indicated.
14. Keep the plates very clean, and the solutions renewed sufficiently often that there may be carried the vibrations of these influences into the body to work with the nerve forces and the system itself - by the ability of the glandular system. Through the assistance of the stimulation through the manipulations, to function with the body.
15. Give this at the time each day that suits best - but don't just give it at any time! Set a time and then if that suits the body, as well as those making the applications, keep that time each day!
16. Also the massages should be continued, for supplying the elements to the superficial circulation; as well as the abilities for the better assimilation, and the proper diets TO BE assimilated. And there must be kept the proper balance between the organs of the circulation - or the heart, the liver, the lungs, the pancreas, spleen, the gall duct and the lower hepatic circulation. As we have indicated, these in the present are in a state of expectancy.
17. The massage is needed so much because of the inability of the superficial circulation - owing to the nerve forces of the system being so depleted; to carry off the used energies, or to stimulate nerve reflexes for their active influences that must be assimilated.
18. Thus the massage, and especially with those oils we have indicated, should be given at least once every day; and if there are periods when through attempted activity the body is put to much stress or distress, then have it oftener. Through such massage we would stimulate especially the bursa in those areas of the joints of the lower extremities, as well as in the arms and elbows, that there be no static condition OR such inflammatory forces as to cause the greater excruciating pain.
19. Also, as combined WITH these applications, we find that the small quantity of the cobra venom would prevent the activity of the bursa in the extremities becoming such as to cause excruciating pain; and UNDER those influences the body may FORCE itself to produce greater activity in the locomotory centers or axes throughout the body - which is helpful.
20. We would keep ALL of those properties or applications which we have indicated as necessary.
21. At least once a week, or oftener as there is the
849-37 Page 4
improvement and it is practical or possible, we would have the body attempt to swim in sea water, or - if not to swim - to have the EFFECT of sea water AND the sand of the seashore (that is dry) encased about the body, or the body buried in same. This will not be easy for the first three or four times, either upon the body OR those administering same, but AFTER the third or fourth time it should be a very, VERY helpful experience for the body.
22. When such applications are given, use only dry sand, to be sure, but that which has not been trampled over too much - as much as practical or possible.
23. When the bath and rubdown is taken after same, be sure to include the gentle rub ALL over the body with the combination of Peanut Oil and Olive Oil.
24. In the matter of the diet - more and more we should have the locally grown vegetables, AS the body becomes acclimated to the activities and the environs about the body.
25. Of course, citrus fruits (that are not local) are very well. Do not combine cereals AND citrus fruits too often at the same meal, however, for the body - as these changes are made.
26. Give the body, now, more and more of liver. This should be broiled. Also pigs' feet (if he would eat same) would be very well, especially because of the needed activities for the muscular force and because of the gluten that forms from same.
27. At least once every day try - at least - to eat some okra. This is well also to keep that necessary for the very activities as will come with the general system.
28. A little wine occasionally would be very well - red wine, as a FOOD - not as just a drink!
29. Keep mostly to those things that have been indicated.
30. Ready for questions.
31. (Q) Would Dr. Crews, or the masseur at the Cavalier, or someone else be best to give the massage? (A) Crews would be BEST, if she'll do it!
32. (Q) Should Codiron be continued? (A) We didn't tell you to leave it off, did we?
33. (Q) How about Calcios? (A) We haven't discarded this either!
34. (Q) Can he have any meats besides liver? (A) There may be occasionally a little beef scraped, but don't eat much of the meat itself - rather the juices or those activities of such.
35. (Q) Give specific directions for the best way to keep the eliminations open.
849-37 Page 5
(A) These, of course, had best be controlled as much as possible by the diet - but it is preferable that the activities of the eliminations be kept a little above normal, either from the massage or the general activity of the body. Of course, enemas or colonics would be used occasionally. Laxatives are very well - those with the Senna as the base are the preferable - or the vegetable compounds. When it is necessary, or as there is general irritation, use a combination of strychnine with caroid or the like - or such as found in Alophen would be preferable for this particular body.
36. (Q) Would it be well to apply the paraffin to the knees? (A) This is very well at times.
37. (Q) How much sun should the body get, and what time of day? (A) As has been indicated, there would be plenty of sun - of course - when the attempts are made to get the sea water and the packs; for the body will be covered up, and it is very easily irritated by too much sun. Any time after three or four o'clock.
38. (Q) Would gelatin treatment be advisable for the body? (A) We would apply that as has been indicated, as we find would be the better.
39. (Q) How much movement should the body attempt each day? (A) This will depend upon how much relaxing is done and how much the inflammation is kept down, in the bursa through the extremities and joints.
40. (Q) Should movement be attempted even if there is pain? Please explain. (A) Better that this be done under those conditions as we have indicated as best for same. But if there is too great a pain, why make for such an activity as to throw the rest of the nervous system back into disturbing conditions? But the body should WILL to, and then go about to do it!
41. (Q) Should the cobra venom be administered by a doctor, and how often? (A) Not except by a physician, and that NOT too often. This should be under the judgement or direction of the physician. Consider Taylor [Waller L. Taylor, M.D. See verified under 849-38.] with this, for he has made a study of it.
