1. HLC: You will have before you the entity [849], born May 7, 1907, in Naugatuck, Conn., now present in this room. You will give a biographical account of the life of this entity in his Egyptian incarnation as Oelom, with special emphasis upon the explantion of urges coming from that experience which influence the mental and spiritual life of the entity in the present. You will answer such questions as may be presented by the entity regarding that experience.

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [849].

3. In giving the interpretations of the records here, of that personage or entity Oelom, it is well that something of the environs and conditions of that period be given, or added to that which has been indicated; that there may be the more perfect understanding of how that experience reflects in the entity's present experience, especially in the mental and spiritual attitudes and aptitudes.

4. As indicated, there had been the entrance of a people into the land, with the attempts of a teacher or priest to unify the spiritual thought of the peoples, and give the great impress as to the needs for a purified body to express same.

5. The entity was born in that experience under such questions, such an environ; while the entity's parentage in the experience was not questioned - that is, as to its purity, or as to cohabitation of those responsible for the entity as a vehicle for the expression of mind and body, and the awareness of a soul.

6. That new teaching became a part of the entity's experience. For he was among those who would be called today the intelligencia of the period.

7. The activities which arose from the political situation because of the banishment of the Priest interferred with the entity's search for the better understanding, the concerted

849-45 Page 2

efforts to practice or to apply in a consistent manner the tenets which had been indicated by that new interpretation arising in the experience of Oelom.

8. Then, in those periods when there was the entering of the Atlanteans, with those THINGS or servants, and the attempts of the leaders there to classify many of the Natives with such groups as had been brought in by the King, the Priest and the Atlanteans, there came consternation in the experience of the entity Oelom.

9. Thus, though not wholly in accord with the uprising or the conditions which had arisen by the rebellions in the house of the King himself, the entity joined in same, or rather used the same as a means, as an end to gain the purposes - as well as to prevent that classifying or segregation which was being attempted by portions of the King's Guard or King's Council.

10. Hence the entity acted to bring about a furthering of the ideas, and putting same into practical application, of matching the wits or the abilities of the Priest - as it might be termed - with the new conditions arising in the land.

11. Hence, as has been indicated, the actual or material experience of the entity found those influences in which there were the extremes, as represented by the sojourn of the entity in the Uranian as well as the Jupiterian environ, with its benevolent aspect - or, as might be called, a more democratic aspect; as was presented by the Priest in his DESIRE to make ALL peoples equal before the physical law, the mental law - for they were in the spiritual law. Such were the tenets of the Priest.

12. Then, throughout his experience in that sojourn we find that the entity - following the return of the Priest and the abilities of those groups then to UNIFY the activity - gave himself in the writing, and interpreting, and lecturing to its own people as well as to others from other lands, from other groups and other ideals or ideas, as to the needs of that unity - which is expressed, is manifested only in Him who is the way, the whole way, the truth and the light.

13. Hence, as has been indicated, we find the entity returning to the Jupiterian and Uranian forces; and such become manifested in the activities of the entity in the present - in that there is a universal outlook upon all movements for the betterment, the unifying of man's approach to the Creative Force or the spiritual understanding; yet, as indicated, very severe in both pro and con influence, as may be manifested by that indicated in the extremes of a Uranian influence.

14. For, each experience is a test to the entity in itself, - and yet holding to the universal aspect of its influence in the experiences of individuals or groups or masses.

15. Hence, as has been indicated, from the experience good and bad arose. In the present there are many individuals in whom the entity will find likes and dislikes; dislikes not of the individuals but of their MANNER of speech as pertaining to their daily life. For, the entity draws the pattern of same, as it were, in both the Jupiterian and Uranian square in the experience of such.

16. Again we find the great abilities of the entity to write - in song or prose, in story or in paralleling, in contrasting or analyzing the activities of groups and individuals as they may or do react in their daily life to the influences that are of the one or the other nature; as appeal to the sensuous forces or influences in the lives of individuals or groups, as they may be analyzed even for others in that as a force which may enable them to be aroused to the searching for their relationships to such Creative Forces in themselves.

17. In that experience we find that the entity rose to the position of being an instructor in not only much of what would be called educational factors and features in the experiences of the period, but in the musical talents or activities of others as well.

18. The entity lived in that experience to an era or age in which there was seen much of fruition in that which was attempted by the entity.

19. From same, in the Uranian and Jupiterian influence in the present, it is hard for the entity to lose hope, though oft it gets very discouraged.

20. Ready for questions.

21. (Q) What connection did the entity have at that time with the building of The Great Pyramid? (A) A great deal in various experiences of same; that is, in the interpreting of periods of those activities which preceded that period in which the building was begun there. For, remember, this was not an interpretation only from that period FORWARD, but as to the very PLACE and experience in which there is to be the change in the activities in the earth! Those periods especially having to do with the influences which followed, ESPECIALLY during and after the periods of the sojourn of Truth, as manifested in man, in Him in the earth.

22. (Q) What was the color of the Native Egyptian race, to which the entity belonged?

849-45 Page 4

(A) Near to the color of what would be called the true Chinese in the present - though the physiognomy of the face was entirely different, see?

23. (Q) Was the entity's wife or companion [1102] chosen for him at that time by the State? (A) This is quite a feature to be understood here! You see, there were great differences which arose regarding this very factor in the experience - which had to do with the bringing about of the banishment of the Priest. The attempt of the State to become the chooser of such was one of the factors over which the entity Oelom rebelled, - as did the Priest and many of the others, see? For, the Priest had attempted to present the active forces such that the choice was to be upon the basis that companionship was NOT of a PHYSICAL nature alone but of the mental and spiritual! Hence we find that the entity, as most of those of the class or position, was among those whose companions were set aside by the State; and also chosen through the spiritual interpretations of that necessary for the physical development, for the greater mental and spiritual advancement. Some of the companions, then, were of those that the entity chose.

24. (Q) Was the present wife [1102] one of those chosen by the entity? (A) The present wife was rather among those chosen by the State! The companionship or friendship of others, as has been indicated, were chosen by the entity.

25. (Q) Should the entity endeavor to write music in this experience? (A) When the entity - as the entity understands, and will as he further interprets within himself those motivating influences as direct the activity of the writing of any nature - feels impelled that such must find EXPRESSION in same, do! Not just write to say you had written a song, or that you might be classified in same! For this would mean nothing! But MOVED to give expression in same, write it! [GD's note: About eight yrs. later he collaborated with a musician in writing a book on jazz.] Write first the poem - and then set it to music. Let those things that have been given as inferences be analyzed the more oft in the light of that which has been indicated as the study through which all, and this entity

also, may gain the greater concept of what are the privileges, the obligations, the duties, the joys, the innate abilities through any given experience - the life of Him who is the Lord of lords and King of kings!
