Time of Reading Present in 3:35 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern Daylight Savings Time. this house.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [849].

3. As we find, there continues to be general improvement.

4. While there is not so much change in the specific conditions that exist in the knees axis, as well as in the lumbar axis, since we last had same here, still there is some improvement.

5. The greater part of that as we have indicated should be continued - unless there were severe measures taken through anaesthetizing and straightening same. This, though, would bruise - and would make still a longer period before being able to use same himself, save as with crutch.

6. Hence the better measures would be the exercise and the tending to straighten, with the keeping of the general health in good condition, and going still deeper and deeper with the mechanical (osteopathic) adjustments in the lumbar axis and throughout those centers from which the head of the sciatic nerve centers branch.

7. Then the activity of the body is the principal thing, combined with the rubs, and the rest of the applications much in the order as is indicated.

8. All of these, in their proportionate way, are necessary.

9. Do that.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) Could my recovery be better continued in Florida this winter than in Virginia Beach? (A) If there are the abilities to have the corrections, it would be MORE efficacious to the body through the winter - to be where sea and sand are still a part of the treatments. But there is the need for the exercise, both by self and by the mechanical or osteopathic method. This may be done just as well as by a mechanotherapist or masseur, if he

understands the condition to be corrected and doesn't attempt to stretch a muscle or a sinew in the wrong direction.

12. (Q) Would Clearwater, Florida be the best place? (A) Clearwater, Florida is the better of the Florida waters, as well as environs.

13. (Q) Could the sand packs be continued there? (A) Sand packs would be continued. These would not be as efficacious, of course, for there is not as much radium in same; but there IS the salt and the sea, AND the general conditions for the betterment of the body.

14. (Q) Would it be practical for me to attempt to swim at Clearwater? (A) If this was in a pool, yes.

15. (Q) How can my wife best cooperate to help me maintain the proper attitude for recovery? (A) This must be along the lines as has been indicated for each. For, they are necessary one to the other in filling those purposes for which their activities are in this present experience. As to application, this must be according to the choice of each. They SHOULD be cooperative, one with another. The WAY ye know. The application YE must make.

16. (Q) What treatment should take the place of the sand packs at present? (A) The rubbing, and the heat - the ultra-violet.

17. (Q) Should the same number of osteopathic treatments be taken weekly? (A) This depends on how WELL they are done! SOME are excellent. Some - they might as well not be given!

18. (Q) Any other advice for the body at this time? (A) Do these things as indicated, and as we find conditions will continue to improve so that there may again be the use of the body and limbs.
