This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 16th day of October, 1942, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [849], Active Member of the Ass''n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

P R E S E N T

R E A D I N G

Time of Reading 3:40 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern War Time. Clearwater Beach, Fla.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [849].

3. As we find, the improvements are continuing, and there is becoming gradually the better use of the nerves and muscles of the locomotory centers of the body.

4. These are to be continued, then, with as much exercise as practical without overtaxing or straining the body.

5. And we will find that the use of the packs of the combination of those properties we have indicated, will still the better assist in breaking up and eliminating the static conditions; these applied over the lower portion of the sacral and the sciatic centers, the knees and the ankles and feet.

6. Massage with oil, preferably those combinations as we have indicated, after the exercise.

7. These as we find are the necessary precautions, and that will be needed more than ever, as the body gradually improves.

8. Do not become impatient with self nor with others. Use the constructive thinking; and creative forces in the thinking will aid in keeping bettered conditions through the body.

9. Of course, keep up the eliminations in rather the excess. As we find, the Senna Pods, or occasionally the salts - or salines, preferably the citrocarbonates or of such natures, - are the better for eliminations, and to keep down inflammation.

10. Beware of getting too cold and, of course, too hot; but do keep up the vibrations from the Wet Cell Appliance, as this supplies those energies in the body - especially the Gold - to the nerve forces of the body. Keep these consistently, and keep the plates clean and connections in order. These are the more helpful influences ye have in the

body from the PHYSICAL angle, as the massage - and this should be kept daily whenever practical, but a thorough massage should be given at least two or three times each week.

12. (Q) Any change in diet? (A) A regular diet, now, but keep the body-building forces; that is, all the foods that carry especially vitamins B and B-Complex. Do not attempt to take these as a complementary for the foods needed to be taken, and that are needed in the body. Any B-Complex may aid, but it may also counteract some other reactions, see?

13. (Q) Will change to environment of ..., Va., be beneficial? [Too expensive in Clearwater in winter; water is too cold for me to swim; besides, we are losing Mrs. Townsend - her husband is going into the service...] (A) It can be MADE beneficial, provided there is the ability to have sufficient exercises to continue the elimination of used energies, and the building up of strength and energy.

14. (Q) Any specific schedule for me now that I am walking? (A) Just be consistent in the application of all those things as indicated.

15. (Q) Any other advice? (A) Keep, as indicated, the mental attitude. This will be more needed now than ever, if there will be the continued improvement to the body.
