1. EC: Yes, we have the entity here, and those relations with the universe and universal forces; that are the records of the entity's experience in the earth and in those environs during the interims between the earthly experiences, of that entity now known as [852].
2. In giving the interpretation of those records here, let this be known to the entity in its study - that is so innate in the experience and in that which may be manifested in the mental abilities of the entity:
3. Environs and hereditary influences are much deeper than that which is ordinarily conceded in the psychology of the present day.
4. For the environs and the hereditary influences are spiritual as well as physical, and are physical because of the spiritual application of the abilities of the entity in relationship to spiritual development.
5. For the purpose of each soul's experience in the earth is to become one with the Creative Forces that manifest in human experience, if it will but APPLY same in its relationships to its fellow man.
6. Hence what one is today is because of what one (the individual soul) HAS DONE ABOUT that, the soul, knows OF the Creative Force or God IN its experience, in WHATEVER environ or consciousness it - the soul - may manifest.
7. The environs then in the earth, in any given experience, are those things that make for the emotional body in that experience.
8. That which is innate, or that finds expression when the individual soul turns to the Creative Force or God within, arises from the SOUL'S experience in those environs ABOUT
852-12 Page 2
the earth.
9. Study these, and it - the study - will make for a great interest, or greater interest, in the CAUSES of relationships in the earth; or in that which is termed the genealogy of ideas, of individuals, of nations, of those things that go to make up WHY individuals are born in this or that environment. For THAT is true genealogy!
10. In the relationships of this entity, then, [852], as to the environs about the earth, that make for those innate expressions that find their manifestations in the thought, in the purpose, in the innate desire when the entity or soul turns within, we find:
11. These arise from the sojourns of the entity IN environments rather than because of any position of this or that planet, this or that phase of the Moon, or this or that season of the Sun's influence upon the earth, or those environs about same.
12. For rather has the soul of man been given that which may make an individual expression to be one with the Creator; and has been given charge concerning the universe, concerning the earth.
13. Hence such relationships or influences come to pass because of that a soul has done about its opportunities in its relationships with its fellow man, or soul-expression.
14. In Mercury we find that making for a high mental ability, especially as in relationships to tongues and their influence upon the individuals that are classified under such an environ - and the relationships in the experience of such individual tongues upon the human family. And especially to this entity that contribution such a tongue or group has made towards man's ability to give greater expression of Creative Energy or Force in the experience of man IN materiality.
15. In Venus we find the influence making for both that as may become adverse and that which is constructive in the experience of the entity.
16. For friendships, duties, the obligations, or the entity's expressions of sincerity, arise from those influences experienced by the soul in that environ. As do also those relationships as regarding the home and in the filial relationships and in the marital relationships. These, too, become as experiences that applied in the experience of the ENTITY may make for weal or woe, dependent upon its (the environ's) relationships to spiritual or Creative Influence in the activity.
17. Hence we find the natural tendencies for making of friendships that are lasting, yet rather exclusive does the
852-12 Page 3
entity become in choosing its companions or its closer friendships. And these be well in that as expressed in the mental efficiency, mental abilities through the Mercurian influence. Yet these can be carried to an extreme. Well that choice be made, but choice as to whether self will be a contribution to the individual relationships for greater constructive influence - as well as receiving same from such friendships and such relationships.
18. Those influences in Jupiter we find rather in an affluence that the entity will or may wield upon public opinion, group, mass, or great bodies of peoples, rather than of the individual. For the individuals, as we have said, become rather the matter of choice.
19. And the entity's expressions and manifestations in the material experience in the present, then, become rather such as will be far-reaching in the influence wielded upon masses and groups.
20. Hence in those abilities of teaching or ministering to those in classes, in teaching or in preparations for activities in any given development for MATERIAL abilities or for spiritual expressions, these naturally become then the fields of activity.
21. Yet the ENTITY chooses, rather than that as may be set as a GIVEN way or manner.
22. In Neptune we find those things of the mystic nature, or the mysterious. Hence we find those things that pertain to amulets, charms, or those things that deal with the influence that arises from the environs of certain kinds of music, all become a portion of the entity's experience.
23. Not EVERY character of music, nor every character of writing, nor every character of painting, nor every character of expression of the artistic temperament of individuals or groups, becomes a portion of the entity. Rather does the entity make for the SELECTIVE influence in such relationships.
24. Yet as we will find, those things that are old, those that are blue, those that are of gold, and those that are new, these should be a portion of the dress or of the environment; whether in the home, in the activity, or in whatever field of expression. These become a portion of the entity for wielding an influence in the manner in which the entity (the soul) gives expression to same in ITS relationships to its fellow man.
25. As to the appearances then in the earth that become as the emotional portion of the entity's experience, we find:
26. These make for expressions that are termed by many as peculiar. Not that it makes the entity appear curious, but
852-12 Page 4
just DIFFERENT from others. Not that it makes the entity appear as one set or hard headed; yet it is as one that is rather determined in its manner of seeking - or of expression or of making for manifestations.
27. Yet the entity will do well to know the basis in self that PROMPTS that expression, and KNOW that it is not of a selfish motive.
28. For selfishness is the besetting sin of man.
29. Tolerance, faith, patience - THESE be expressions that may make for the happiness that all are crying for. Yet so few are willing to pay the price for same - which is tolerance, patience, and SELFLESSNESS in the expressions to its associates, its fellow man, its activities in the earth.
30. Before this, then, we find the entity was in the earth during those periods when there were the settlings in the land of the present nativity. It was during those periods when there was the seeking for an expression of a people in the separations from those that would make for that termed tyranny, or the taxation without representation.
31. During that period the entity was in the land now known as or called Virginia, and about that town now being reinstated or set again into those environs of the peoples during that giving of expression to self.
32. Then in the name Cathrine Hepbure, the entity made for those activities that aided much - in and about those meetings that called for the separation of the colonists and the groups that sought to give self-expression.
33. And the entity aided not only in helping many but even in helping that one who gave expression in that document now so dear to so many, and so little observed by those who cry the loudest! For the entity then was as an aide to Jefferson, who wrote that document.
34. Those records may yet be found in the Bruton Church.
35. In the experiences the entity gained and lost. Gained in the service as rendered; lost when there were not those credits given, and the little consideration given - when a desire for vengeance arose in the experience.
36. Yet in the latter portion, when there began to be those periods of a general activity that gave greater expression of that obtained through the Revolution - as termed, the entity then became as a teacher of language in the schools nigh unto that present school in that land.
37. And that in the present gives the abilities of the entity in the sounding of the various forms of English and the various forms of those tongues that become as a contribution to what may be termed the American tongue rather than the English tongue.
852-12 Page 5
38. Before that we find the entity was in that land from which there was a real soon entrance into the period just given; for it was during those periods when Louis the Sixteenth in France made the turmoils that brought for a peoples the turmoils - to many.
39. Yet from that period there grew the very principles for which the entity in the expression next found an outlet for its activity.
40. The entity then was among those who rebelled against those in authority, leading in the activities against the Queen and those that held for those activities of that in authority.
41. The entity was among the first of those of her own group that were cut off by those activities in the uprising, in the name then Celecentei.
42. In the experience in the present, while those activities hold an innate desire for the knowing of same, yet there is held deep within self an abhorrence. Yet those expressions as to personal liberty, personal expression, are a part of the entity; and seek for the activity in which self and those principles held innate and manifested may find a means of expression.
43. Before that we find the entity was in that period when there was the expanding of the Roman land, when settlements were being made in what is now northern Africa, the Holy Land, and the isles of the sea.
44. The entity then was one in authority, as one who gave the necessity of those groups or those peoples to make their report to Caesar in the Latin tongue.
45. Hence in the experience the entity created or made for itself many of those things that brought to the entity condemnations from those in authority in some of those lands, yet the entity's contribution to its own people - as well as to the world in general - was in writing into the Roman tongue the teachings of Paul, Peter and Titus.
46. These brought to the entity not only a self-satisfying experience, but the knowledge innate within self that the abilities within self were of the nature that its own contribution would remain as lasting experiences in the minds and the hearts of those that were to pass that way.
47. Then, hold within self ever those ideals, those purposes, that were purported during that experience. For THEN did the entity gain, though under stress and strain from the material angles, the greater soul expressions. For those teachings of Him, who is and who ever will be the Savior of men, brought harmony, peace and understanding in the expressions of the entity.
852-12 Page 6
48. And oft, if the entity will read those expressions in Romans, Philemon, Timothy, there will be brought the awakening from within that will arouse to activity.
49. Judge not others that have not awakened so, but let thine own life, thine own example, thine own expression, become as then - a LIVING way; that others may see the light, and be encouraged, that they - too - may RENEW their faith, their hope.
50. For, as thou hast given in thine manner of interpretation and expression; He IS the light, He IS the way, and no man approaches the Father save through that LIVING way, "As ye do it unto the least of these, my brethren, ye do it unto me."
51. Would that all would but write that upon their hearts, their souls, and know it IS the living way!
52. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as or called the Egyptian, during those periods when there were those interpretations and activities that made for the correlating of the teachings of other teachers, other leaders in varied lands.
53. Hence the entity's activity during that experience made for the translations, as it were, to the various dialects (rather than languages) of that experience.
54. And the entity's activities in the Egyptian land, after those periods of concentration and consecration of body and mind through the activities and the initiations in the Temple Beautiful, became rather associated with those in the land of the Mongoloid - or in those temples that are yet to be uncovered.
55. For with the entity's missions there, and the entity's activities, the entity became as the leader or the Princess of those people to the activities in the Temple of Gold; the temple that was set with the jewels of the land.
56. Hence the entity's activities brought to the peoples of many lands a greater understanding, a greater interpretation; yet eventually worked for the dissipating of authority in high places.
57. From those experiences of the entity, as Isth-She-Both, there comes the desire of self-adornment, the desire for self- expression as in activities before others - and the abilities for leaderships in whatever activity the entity may undertake.
58. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain, and how:
59. Turn to those activities in the Roman experience, and become rather as the interpreter, as a teacher, as an active force in giving to others those beauties that may come from
852-12 Page 7
the study of those peoples of that period - who had RATHER the spiritual insight than the commercial or the might and power; hence again became a contributor to the literature of those who seek, or those who would know the way of the Cross.
60. For His ways are not past finding out; and it is not done from without self but from within.
61. For as thou has interpreted, thy body is indeed the temple of the living God; and He has promised to meet thee there.
62. Turn WITHIN! Let Him, thy God, be thy source of supply. For in Him ye move and have thy being.
63. Let that thou doest, then, with thy hands, thy mind, be rather the interpretation of HIS power, HIS force, HIS love for THY fellow man; remembering - as has been given - that as ye do it unto the least of thy associates, of thy brethren, ye do it unto Him.
64. Ready for questions.
65. (Q) Where should I receive the best training for this work? (A) William and Mary! [See 3/21/40 Letter 852-12, Par. R9.]
66. (Q) How can I improve my disposition? (A) Study to show thyself approved unto thy Maker. Keep the words of truth as thou knowest them in thy heart. Keep thyself unspotted from the world. These tenets, not AS tenets nor merely as sayings but as practices in thine daily association. For the law of the Lord is that; if ye would have friends, be friendly; if you would have others smile on thee, smile on others. If ye would have others do good to thee, do good, speak kindly, speak gently. Be not harsh because others do not see or do not understand or comprehend even as self, for the soft word turneth away wrath even as the grievous words stir up anger. These NOT as sayings, but as practical applications in thine daily experience, will make for a beauty in thy life that others - not thyself but others - will bless thee!
67. (Q) What influence causes me to be afraid of darkness? (A) Those experiences in the activities of the Colonial period; but more particularly from the experiences in the dungeon in which thou wert plunged in France.
68. (Q) What influences my fondness for genealogy? (A) As given. For it's been the study, it's been the activity through many of those experiences in the earth.
69. (Q) Is there any particular stone or stones I should wear? (A) Gold in the forms of circles or of many bangles, and
852-12 Page 8
the like, are greater to the entity than stones; save diamonds.
70. (Q) Would a change of residence on the completion of a college course be advisable? (A) It will be changed, whether it's advisable or not!
71. (Q) Where can the records in the Bruton Church be found? (A) In those same cases in which the first services are kept that were the gift to this parish from the King.
72. (Q) What was the name in the Roman period? (A) Romolous.
