1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [853], present in this room. You will give a physical, mental and spiritual reading for this body, with suggestions and advice for the perfection of all of these, answering the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [853], present in this room.
3. Now, in the physical forces of the body, we find there are conditions of which the body should take some warning, and in the correction of these in the present will bring the better physical conditions for the body and prevent distresses later on.
4. These conditions, as we find them in the present, are rather those of tendencies than of specific derangements, or of specific natures, for the physical forces tend to keep a balance in the system; yet with the tendencies as persistent, unless some corrections are made, must - sooner or later - make for that as will be of a disturbing nature.
5. In the general physical forces there should be kept that which, in its proper analysis, would make for the continued resuscitation of vitality and vital forces without ANY destructive forces being builded in the system.
6. These, as we find, are usually - and as in this case either of the nature in which an unbalancing is created by the eliminations of the system, or there is builded too much of some portions or characteristics of development in that as is assimilated, as to make for an unbalancing.
7. The greater condition to be warned of in this body is that of something of a combination of these, as would tend to make for those of the typhus glands, that as would produce temperature of the nature as to become destructive in the system.
8. This, as we see, that warning as should be had by the body, that the body should take those precautions as to prevent the system from LOSING its balance, as to become susceptible to such conditions; and EVER should the body be
853-1 Page 2
very mindful of the character of the WATER, especially, as is taken.
9. In the general system, then, these conditions are found existent:
10. In the BLOOD SUPPLY - These are very good, as to quantity and to character, in the greater part. There ARE indications of the slowed circulation, especially through the jejunum and about those portions OF the assimilating system that are engaged mostly through the vegetative nerve system, and the tendency of those portions as carry the lymph circulation to become slowed in these portions through that sluggishness as occurs at times, and a form of plethora existent from same through this portion of the body.
11. In the NERVE SYSTEM - These are very good. There needs to be, necessarily, the stimulation for the cerebrospinal centers as are governors of the impulses of circulation through this portion or region. These, then, lie in that between the 3rd dorsal and the last, or 12th dorsal.
12. In the functioning of the ORGANS of the system - These show very good responses, except when there are tendencies, toward that slowing circulation, as cause a for the sensory organism a condition in the upper portion of body that affects eyes, ears, and especially the taste. This at times is seen, especially when certain character of foods are taken. For example, while watermelon to the body is very good, if of a certain stage, yet an insipidness in the taste follows the eating of same, as to make most other foods taste unnatural to the body. This, as we see, is an active force direct with the gastric juices of the stomach, that affect especially those of the vegetative nerve system, producing through the sympathetic forces a result of such a nature. These are also seen with certain character of fruits as is of these ESPECIALLY as of the apricot in certain character or preparation of same. This an activity coming more through those of the lacteals than from the same position of stomach, or medicine chest of the body.
13. Heart's action and lungs are very good.
14. The digestive system very good, save as to that these are SLOWED often in their activity, and the tendency is to eat those things that are SATISFYING but that do not create the proper BALANCE in the system. The DIGESTIVE system, as is seen, shown the greater disturbance in the MANNER of its assimilating, rather than of the digestion, for the lactics, the hydrochlorics and the lacteals, or the non-acids, are very well balanced at present, but are not always so. Hence we find at times that of a tendency of a TREMBLY sensation, especially through the body ABOVE the diaphragm, and a

heaviness the next day in the lower limbs.
15. In meeting conditions, and the needs in the physical forces of the body, WE would apply as these:
16. First, be particularly mindful of the diet, until there is a proper balance created in the eliminations, so that there is the proper evacuation through the alimentary canal, at least once - and at times twice each day; and that there is the feeling of rest and of especially VITALITY in the system after such rests, as of the evening's sleep. These, as we find, would be the most helpful. These as a sample, though may be often changed through the various fields:
17. Of Mornings - citrus fruits, that may be altered with those of gruel, or of the breakfast foods that are STEAMED - or cooked. These, preferably, with those of the citrus fruits, with little of the honey or syrup - preferably honey - with buckwheat, or WHOLE wheat, but not WHITENED - or that bolted.
18. Then, in the noon - should be preferably those of salads and of green vegetables, and of soups, or such - but not HEAVY meals.
19. In the evening - the meal may be heavier, but stick to those that grow above the ground; though occasionally those of the potato may be taken, if only the jacket and that close to same is eaten. The meats should be only those that are of that, that chew the cud, and are clovenhoofed, or those of fowl or fish in moderation. With that should be plenty of those vegetables, cooked, that make for iron, phosphorus and silicon, and PLENTY of SALT should be had with THIS meal, but not too much of any other seasoning.
20. Also, the vibrations of an electrical DRIVEN vibrator should be used each evening, from five to fifteen minutes, on the spinal column, from the 12th dorsal, or just above the lumbar and the kidney region, to well between the shoulders, and occasionally at the axis, or 2nd cervical, should be used; using those of the cup of soft rubber for such treatment, which should be DIRECTLY on the body itself.
21. Well, too, were the body - after such a treatment - to rub self down WELL with cold water and very coarse cloth.
22. Do this. Keep as much outdoor exercise as is possible. Don't mind doing chores, and the like, that keeps the mental and physical active, especially for stopping, but when stooping don't bend the head downward first. Keep an equilibrium.
23. In the mental body - this we find very good, and especially in the line of discernment and of speculative forces as related to comparative conditions or relations between individuals, or between individuals and groups.
853-1 Page 4
24. The SPIRITUAL body, WELL. Keep the physical body fit, that the mental may better act, and the spiritual will guide aright. Know that it was well given, "The SPIRIT is willing, the FLESH is weak". The MIND is the builder. The conceptions must be either spiritual natures, or of self indulgencies. These are ever set before self. Choose to manifest rather that of the spiritual. Ready for questions.
25. (Q) Is the body mentally and temperamentally fitted for a lawyer? (A) Just as given. Temperamentally and MENTALLY fitted for one as to JUDGE between groups and individuals, but as a lawyer - never choose to represent one yourself hasn't faith in!
26. (Q) Should he continue his efforts to get employment as Senior Attorney to the Interstate Commerce Commission in Washington, D.C.? (A) Would be well. This comes through the regular commission, or through the form of competitive EXAMINATIONS, in the form of civil service. These would be WELL to keep in line with, and success will crown the efforts. Be thou faithful unto that as is given into thine hands.
27. (Q) What further steps should he take to secure this position? (A) There be regular channels through which such an appointment, or selection, are made. Keep in touch with those centers or leads through which same comes. Also, we will find that there WILL be some unexpected turns in this direction. Keep away from dissension in political areas, however.
28. (Q) In what position or locality could he attain the success for which he is best fitted? (A) As will be seen, these will, of necessity, come through that position and in that locality in which the position SENDS same. In meeting peoples, in representing the various forms of conditions as will come in such, these will be that criterion, that act towards each one as were it being done unto self. [6/16/32 See 853-2 in re his life and work.]
29. (Q) Regarding the water, is there any specific water he has been drinking that he should avoid? (A) Be sure that the water is of the freestone and tends towards that of chalybeate and lithia.
30. (Q) What spiritual advice would be of benefit to this body? (A) That as is held, KEEP that inviolate; knowing that there must be the ideal set before self that may only be accomplished in the FULFILLMENT of the trusts as are given from time to time; for the Spirit suffers none to be tempted beyond that they are ABLE to bear. Knowing, then, that such is, as to whether one is gratifying selfish interest, or is

keeping spiritual faith, walk in that light as is set in Him who gave, "Follow in that way, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light, for in me is life, and the water of life, for I am the vine and ye are the branches. He that dwelleth in me dwelleth in the Father also".
