1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [860].
2. Now, as we find, conditions are rather serious. While there are the distraughtnesses produced from the lack of the proper radial activity in the flow of the circulation itself, these disorders that are apparent may be materially aided by the addition of those things that will bring to the system the resuscitating forces not only to overcome this tendency towards the separation of the activities in the forces but to bring resuscitating influences to the general physical forces of this body.
3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [860] we are speaking of:
4. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY, we find this is lacking in the sufficient activity for the resuscitating of the strength through those inroads of the disintegrating forces. And these bring the lack of that radial force in the activity between the flow through the portions of the body and that which makes for revivifying in the system.
5. In the NERVE FORCES of the body, here we find both those that are the causes of the disorders and the effects of the distresses in the system. In the centers where there are the tendencies for the changes in the eliminations, these call for this separation in the lymph and the emunctory circulation, so that those tendencies for the formations of those pressures in the abdominal area, those tendencies for the suppression in those portions of the circulatory forces from the ORGANS as related to eliminations and the resuscitating forces, make or produce distresses in the system; so that the tiredness, the swellings, the lack of the locomotory activity in its fullness of action arise from the pressures in these areas from the 4th lumbar to the 9th
860-1 Page 2
dorsal area. For here we have segmentations that show for subluxations in their positions, yet these are the effects of the disorders rather than the causes; though the causes that arise from these produce other disorders in the system.
6. As to the activity of the ORGANS themselves, we find those affectations through the sympathetic system producing in the organs of the sympathetics or sensory forces the distresses, as also the fullness in the lymph circulation through the throat and bronchi and the activities of the glands here.
7. In the heart's activity, this through this radial force in the blood supply is not normal, yet is a sympathetic and not an organic disorder.
8. In the digestive system we find the greater quantity of accumulations of disorders through the trunk portions of the system. These arise from those accumulations of the lymph in pockets in portions of the circulation itself; as we find about those in the caecum area, those also in the liver and gall duct area.
9. As to the activities, then, that may bring for the body the greater relief, we would find first we would build for certain reactions and then alter or change these for a variation to supply the necessary elements for bringing the proper balance in the resuscitating forces of this body.
10. First, then, we would make a compound for the active reinforcements of the Wet Cell Battery Appliance, that would carry first the Spirits of Camphor, in the next application the Gold, and in the next application the Nitrate of Silver in a ten percent solution. These would be attached in their varied activities for the changes in the influencing of the active forces through the circulatory system.
11. When attaching the Camphor we would make the first attachment in the 3rd and 4th cervical center, the larger plate with the current passing through the regular solution of Spirits of Camphor being attached at the ganglia of the plexus opposite the cardiac portion of the stomach proper; so that we may have the settling from this nausea that occurs at times in the stomach - and the headaches. This solution would be attached not over thirty minutes, twenty to thirty minutes.
12. The next day we would attach the Gold solution; this we would pass from the 4th dorsal plexus with the small anode, and the larger to the umbilicii and the lacteal duct plexus, or for the assimilating forces to bring to the body that stamina necessary to overcome those tendencies for the radial forces' activity through the digestive system to overcome that condition in the eliminations through the
860-1 Page 3
organs in the pelvis and the resuscitating forces in the system itself. This we would attach not more than twenty minutes.
13. The next day when we would use or attach the Nitrate of Silver in a ten percent solution; we would make the attachment at the 9th dorsal and the larger plate at the umbilicii center or to the upper portion of same, so that the activities of this as it passes through the body will be to reduce those tendencies for the inflammation that arises in the ganglia governed by those influences from the solar plexus to the central portion of the body. This would be attached for not more than fifteen minutes.
14. Each day we would have a massage along the spine from the base of the brain to the middle of the spine, then from the end of the spine to the middle portion of the spine; or from the 1st cervical to the 9th dorsal, then from the coccyx to the 9th dorsal. This would be a circular massage preferably with a small quantity of Olive Oil.
15. As to the matter of the diet, we would keep in an alkalin reaction. We would NOT use any white bread. Use all whole wheat or brown bread. Do not use citrus fruit juices at the same meal with cereals of any kind, but take these at separate times; alternate from one morning to the next. Do not use too large a quantity of sweets, but rather the nerve and blood building foods. Not meats, but the juices of same - that are strengthening for the body - are well.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) In applying the Battery with the solution of Camphor, should the large anode be placed over the front of the body or along the spine? (A) Over the front of the body at the entrance of the aesophygus to the stomach, see, or to the cardiac portion of the stomach itself; for the 3rd cervical center, you see, and the cardiac portion of the stomach itself.
18. (Q) Is automobile riding unwise for this body? (A) Unless the body can rest, it is not well; that is, unless the body does not have to sit too erect. If the body can rest or lie back more when riding, it is more efficacious than riding sitting erect.
19. (Q) How long with this treatment before we can expect recovery? (A) As indicated, it will be necessary for changes. When this treatment has been taken for twenty-six to thirty days, then we would give the changes necessary. For, as we overcome these tendencies for the accumulations that form through the improper eliminations, we will find the resuscitating forces will begin to build. These we should
860-1 Page 4
keep in equal balance, and we may change them according to the responses to those applications. Then, we should see decided results in twenty-six to twenty-eight days; that is, from the time of the application of these vibrations.
20. (Q) Will there be any immediate return of the serious trouble in the kidney area? (A) This arises from the inability of the system to throw off these eliminations as associated with the circulation through the hepatics. With the application of these vibrations that carry the low form of electrical forces, we will find some little irritation - but no recurrence of a serious nature unless there are other conditions arising than are indicated in the present. These activities are for the system to make other portions of the body respond rather than the accumulations being centralized in one portion of the functioning of the organs themselves.
21. (Q) The conditions described affecting the hearing and eyesight - (A) This should be helped particularly with those vibrations not only of the massage but the relieving of those tendons along the nerve forces that supply not only the blood supply but the return or the throwing off of used force as from those vibrations from the 3rd cervical and the cardiac plexus, or the frontal cardiac plexus, see? for these will carry through all the vibrations to this portion that of a helpfulness, see?
22. (Q) What is the best weight for the patient's general well-being? (A) That which would be the normal balance in the system for the age, the height and the general mien of the body; or about one fifty-five. Follow these things as indicated. When it becomes necessary for the proper eliminations through the alimentary canal, use rather the enemas than severe cathartics; but if the diet will be maintained in an alkalin nature, cold and congestion will not be as effective in the system; neither will there be the congestions from the supply of the nerve and blood force through those affected portions with those vibrations of the Wet Cell applications. Keep the anodes clean. Disconnect from the battery when not in use. Use separate anodes for each solution. Each should be with the tubing of the lead passing through the solution.
23. We are through for the present. Copy to Husband (two copies, one for H. J. Reilly, 1908 B'way, N.Y.C., with specifications for preparing and applying the Wet Cell Appliance; also massage)
