Time of Reading 3:15 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., New York. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [869], present in this room.
2. Now, while in many ways the conditions are very good, there are some specific disturbances as we find, the correction of which would make for a better physical body, with the opportunities through the mental and the physical body for greater developments.
3. These conditions, as we find, are rather specific in their nature, yet AFFECT the body in rather a subtle manner, having to do or dealing with that which makes for infectious forces - through the drosses or lack of proper eliminations in portions of the system.
4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [869] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY, here we find the effect of a catarrhal condition which has existed in portions of the system. And the effects or the character of the humor that is carried in the blood flow makes for an affectation in different portions of the system, through some influences that have been given in the system to counteract conditions in the body. These, making for the reactions through the blood flow, affect the lymph in its circulation in the system, as we shall see.
6. In the NERVE FORCES of the body, we find both sympathetic and cerebrospinal are involved. These in those junctures specifically in the 3rd and 4th cervical area and in the last lumbar and last dorsal area. In their reaction these produce at times those muscular contractions that cause distress to the body.
7. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves:
8. In the reaction from the impulses from brain reactions, very good.
9. The sensory organism, especially in the soft tissue of the antrum and the nasal cavity, suffers from the effects of
869-1 Page 2
this drying - or at times a wet and drying of the mucous membranes from a catarrhal contraction. This is the source from which those repressions in the dorsal area are indicated to the central and superficial circulation to the head.
10. The throat, bronchi, lungs, larynx, only when there has been the excess of such influences in the lymph circulation as to cause congestion does this show any distresses in the present.
11. Heart's action as related to the circulatory system is near normal.
12. In the digestive area we find a sympathetic condition existent only at times; for this area of the lacteal ducts from which the lower portion of the solar plexus center and the lower lumbar axis has its reflection in the distresses caused there, arising from this effect to the circulatory system and nerve forces that find reaction in the ganglia in the lower dorsal and last lumbar plexus area.
13. This produces for the hepatic circulation and the reflex to the upper portion of the kidney area a disorder that at times makes for this heaviness across the lower portion of the back or the spine and across the hip portions of the body. These are the distressing areas at times, making for slowness in the activity of the liver AND the kidneys in their COORDINANT activity. Hence a cold or slow hepatic circulation, making for periods when testings of the urine or those activities from this portion of the elimination system would show disorders while at others there would be a clearing and then periods when the greater distress is shown in the metabolism of the system.
14. In meeting the needs of the conditions as we find, these may be had as helpful conditions in more than one manner; but to eradicate the condition from the system we would raise the vibrations in the system through the electrical forces as in the deep therapy, yet NOT the higher voltage in same, as from the diathermy. The applications would be made or given twice each week, following a general manipulation with adjustments in the cervical area, the lower dorsal and lumbar area. At one period the application would be to the 3rd and 4th cervical plexus and the other plate to the umbilicii or the lacteal duct area, to eradicate congestions that occur in the water of lymph circulation. At the next period it would be in the lumbar area and the other anode to the same or lacteal duct area. These should not be too severe, but apply these with the general distribution of energies from the plexus that govern the areas in distress; and these should bring for the body a near normal reaction.
869-1 Page 3
There should be at least eight to ten such treatments from the diathermy BEFORE there would be a rest period of leaving them off for a period. Then they would be given again, but NOT so often. There should be the general corrections throughout the whole system of the cerebrospinal, but specifically in the cervical and in the lumbar and last dorsal area.
15. As to the diet, keep more to the alkalin-reactions for the system. Less of starches, of sweets, or meats; but keep those that will build for nerve and blood forces, carrying especially the vitamines that make for more of that element in the blood that purifies same.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) What is the condition of the body in relation to the existence of former ulcer? (A) These have been eradicated sufficient that, if they are eliminated from the LYMPH circulation, these should not give greater distresses to the body. These are in the forms of the congestion centering in locomotory centers as indicated, rather than to the tissue in the system.
18. (Q) Was there present a kink in the colon? (A) Not in the present, as we find same. There has been an engorgement, rather than a prolapsus, as we find indicated.
19. (Q) What is the cause of the gas? (A) The lack of the proper gastric flow to keep an alkalinity in the jejunum, and hence produces or allows regurgitation from the pyloric portion of the digestive system. With the alkalin diets, with the centers indicated making for greater activity through the allaying of inflammation in the mucous membrane tissue or the lymph circulation, this should be reduced.
20. (Q) Is there a toxic state present in the body? (A) Toxic state is present in the body.
21. (Q) What is the trouble with the left lower lid? (A) We do not find trouble other than that which is of the general conditions in the system.
22. (Q) What is the cause of the lack of desire for food? (A) Lack of proper quantity of the digestive fluids to carry on proper assimilation. These activities for the system to produce coordination between the upper and lower hepatic circulation, as will reduce the toxic forces, the activities through the kidneys, the allaying of those burnings that have caused to the nervous system distresses, should make for a general reaction that the food will not only be BETTER for the body but the body will desire the food more.
23. (Q) What is the cause of the chronic constipation?
869-1 Page 4
(A) That which has been indicated in the lack of the flow of the gastric forces through the jejunum. There should be better peristaltic activity throughout the eliminating system with those reactions or corrections in the lower lumbar, the lower portion of the dorsal, and especially with the diet. Less of starch, less of sweets, and more of the fruit juices and nuts and raw vegetables and the like. Not that meats would be eliminated entirely, but no fried foods at ANY time. When there is the tendency for inflammation or infectious reaction in lymph and emunctory activity in the mucous membranes of the body, this produces a drying condition and the lack of activity through the muscular forces of the intestinal system. These stimulated through those centers from which there is the radial activity to the organs and those from the lacteal duct and gall duct area, where the other plate is to be attached from the electrical forces, should stimulate to nearer normal activity. Do that.
24. (Q) Why is the desire of sex relation dormant? (A) Lack of activity through the mucous membranes or the glands that secrete nominally for this. This is a reaction that through the stimulation of the system may be made near normal.
25. (Q) What is the cause of the recent loss of weight? (A) Just as indicated. Do these things that have been indicated, and - as we find - we will bring the near normal condition for this body.
26. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self (one for an OSTEOPATH and ELECTROTHERAPIST) Copy to Ass'n file (See directions [which were enclosed] for the corrections and diathermy treatments.)
