Time of Reading 4:10 to 4:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Body and enquiring mind, who desires guidance and advice regarding his affairs - spiritual, mental and material. Questions.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [877]; this we have had before.

2. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) [877] and [1423] - new firm starting May 1st at ... (Room ...), New York City, for practice of law. [1423] and I are the two equal partners. Advice and guidance regarding the operation and activities of this firm is most sincerely desired. In what field of law should we specialize - if any? (A) Suggestions as we find have been given to the body-mind in respect to its associations in law. As we find, this connection or association should be most successful in its operations. So long as the ideals of each are held we will find greater and greater opportunities in the fields of service in which each of these is well fitted, especially in those fields of service in which each of these is well fitted, especially in those fields of counsel where advice is sought as to the legality of terms as related to the abilities for operations under specific characters of corporate activities; also as related to those things pertaining to international associations, and investments that have to do with estates and holding companies and the like. This is the character of law and the character of clientele as we find the association or partnership would best function in. [877]'s activities would be as counsellor to counsel in the international relationships, and in trust organizations or corporations. [1423]'s activities would be more regarding the legality of holdings organizations under legal rights, as in copyright or such natures that pertain to activities in the patent processes and the like.

877-17 Page 2

Hence this combination naturally becomes a portion of the association for aiding those that might seek channels for the activity of investments. These as we find in a broad sense are the activities best for this association or partnership.

4. (Q) What clients are available to us and how obtain them? (A) Those of the specific nature or character where they are being represented or are seeking for representation in such fields of activity as indicated. Any of these fields. Let there be rather an announcement to such corporations, such holdings organizations, and we will find not only those that are in need of such counsel or advice will seek the counsel but those that are of new corporations and organizations will seek also.

5. (Q) Will this firm be successful and prosper? (A) As has been indicated, as we find so long as there is the holding to the ideals of each, it will be successful.

6. (Q) Advice and guidance desired regarding my financial position. How clear my debt position? (A) These to be sure offer problems that are to be met in either of two ways. As we find, there is the field open for speculations. This is not well adapted to the very conditions or the temperament and ideals of the body. Then there is the possibility of pooling the indebtedness in such a manner that there may be budgets for the carrying of same as the developments of the activities bring about such amounts of income that these may be in regular order cared for. To be sure, those are still capable of being handled that may be curtailed by having the general outgoing and the interests and the anxiety relieved; and as the associations and the connections in the legal ways and manners and associations are brought about, these will offer still greater opportunities for curtailing in these directions. Then as we find, when these are done, then making for the pooling, making for a budgeting of self's income and outgo, becomes then the channel or manner or way to meet same.

7. (Q) How obtain satisfactory income to cover living expenses, debt charges and build up working capital? (A) As has been indicated, by the abilities in associations and connections that will enable the body to have sufficient time for the new activities. These as we find become

877-17 Page 3

necessary through the use of the channels through which there may be obtained the extensions and the use of incomes for activities.

8. (Q) What should I do with the Sands Point house? If it should be sold, how and when and for what price? If it should be held, how finance carrying charges? (A) As we find, there should be, through the associations in the legal connections, still greater opportunities for disposing of the Sands Point holdings. Still as we find through the channels as has been indicated, or those connections - and these should be offered in such a way and manner as to make same as attractive as possible, under the existent conditions. There should not be taken such a great loss as to jeopardize the best interests of all concerned, but these may be - through the same channels - financed in such a way and manner that it would make it eventually become as a real way and manner in which the disposition can be made. Then offer or suggest, or bring about the individuals or associates having the use of same during the coming season. These as we find are ways and manners and means in which the whole condition may be handled.

9. (Q) What should I do with my stock exchange membership now used by [...], [former partner]? (A) This as we find should be disposed of to those that may be in sympathy with [his] activity and associations; and through [1256] or his connections would be well for consideration in these directions.

10. (Q) How, when and for what price should it be sold? (A) It should be sold at a profit, and as we find this should be made possible by at least thirty to sixty days, if there is the activity in the direction that has been indicated.

11. (Q) Is present arrangement with [...], [former partner] O.K.? (A) For the present.

12. (Q) What should I do with American Seal Kap stock? Should my clients and I sell or hold? (A) This is still in those same positions as we have had heretofore and we feel, from present conditions, the same counsel or advice would be justifiable in the present. We would not change from that in the present.

13. (Q) What can I do to advance the price of the stock on the market to at least 10 or 12? (A) Only through pools with others. That is an indication by the very activity that it is justifiable, would be in keeping with the policies and the ideals of the body. But

877-17 Page 4

these as we find may be worked together or combined with some of those who may be very soon interested in having the body and the associate represent them in their activities in the same nature or characters that would make combinations or pools, see?

14. (Q) Is management of Seal Kap OK? (A) This as we find is very good, but there should be those efforts to increase the incomes in such a way and manner as to justify the pooling of same with others, so as to make the advance in the price of same.

15. (Q) Is Harold T. Edwards acting for best interests of the corporation in bringing patent suits and is he to be trusted generally? (A) He is to be trusted generally, and as we find - while there may be some questions - have this looked into by the associate, to the very bottom of it, and this will give the better answer.

16. (Q) Is D. A. Mackin OK as President? (A) This we have had before also, and as we find the policies and the activities in the present are very good but there should be those conditions brought about that would make such an activity justifiable, as has been indicated above.

17. (Q) Is present Board of Directors OK? (A) These are very good in general.

18. (Q) Should I remain a Director and what can I do to help the company? (A) Those advices and counsels; it becomes almost, under the existent conditions, the representations, etc - imperative that the self remain for the present at least until there are the opportunities for the disposing of the holdings for self and others that would make it justifiable for self to resign as a director.

19. (Q) What can I do to further the interests of shareholders of Pem, Inc? (A) This again we have had before, and those conditions that have been indicated have NOT been bettered but rather in some directions jeopardized; but if there are those counsels and those advices that have been indicted here, conditions would be bettered.

20. (Q) Should Pem continue as at present or should it be changed or dissolved? (A) Eventually dissolved; or combined with those of natures that are in keeping with that for the better holdings for all.

21. (Q) Is my investment in Pan American Trust OK? Should I continue as Director?

877-17 Page 5

(A) This as we find, as has been indicated, if carried and kept the associations with the Government in these directions, will be more than OK. By all means continue as Director.

22. (Q) Is my investment in W. A. Harriman Securities Corp. OK? (A) Most of these are OK. There needs to be some consideration given to some of the advances that are being made in some of the holdings of this organization. It is not in jeopardy, it's very good - if some of those activities work out be excellent investment.

23. (Q) Should I continue as Director? (A) As long as the holdings are such as to justify same, very well.

24. (Q) When can I sell to best advantage? (A) This, of course, depends upon the general trend of conditions, which would have to do more with a national scope or activity. The greater advantage, of course, will be in the early fall, but there may be an activity in which the gain to the body might justify a selling during the next thirty to sixty to ninety days.

25. (Q) General advice and guidance regarding the following activities: Ruber Mfg. Co. (A) These we would look into as to the manner in which the products are held for some that are given special inducements. While this is not in error wholly, it may become so if allowed to go too far. Otherwise, very good.

26. (Q) Cox and Macneal, Incorporated. (A) These we would question, yet these depend a great deal upon individual activities that are worthy of being given an opportunity for their carrying on.

27. (Q) Charles F. Cox personal loan - when will he repay? (A) This becomes of course a question, owing to those very conditions as indicated that are in abeyance to personal activity. As we find, it may be made complete by the first of September or before.

28. (Q) Listed Securities, Inc. and First Mutual Corporation. (A) Very good. These are worthy of consideration and of watching.

29. (Q) My great desire is to free myself from debt, establish myself in proper work - according to the DIVINE PLAN - where I can be of maximum service in the carrying out of the Will of the Father and do this work perfectly and be perfectly compensated therefor. I am not greedy nor do I seek power over my fellow men - I seek to do the Will of my Father and ask for His direction, protection and supply. (A) As has been given in the former counsel here, there are many ways open - but if the self, the activity in each

877-17 Page 6

association and connection is considered ever in the manner as has just been indicated as the desire, then in these connections act in that way and manner. For the earth and all that is in same IS the Lord's. The silver and the gold are His, so are the cattle on the hills. Hence they that serve without the desire of lordship over their fellow men, but that the way of the Lord may be known to all, find the closer communion, the closer direction, the greater opportunity, the greater ability - yet of course the greater responsibilities; and these cannot be shirked, neither may they be sidetracked, but as they come USE them as ye would have HIM use YOU! Thus, as ye would use that which is lent thee, let the Lord direct.
