Time of Reading 11:30 to 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [877]; this we have had before.
2. As we find, there are some disturbing conditions that arise from the application of the deep therapy in this particular condition at this time.
3. Owing to the deflections, that have been indicated as being existent - and as we find in the cerebrospinal system in the upper dorsal and cervical area, there are again some effects of congestion shown.
4. The deep therapy produces the improper circulation through the head, the neck and the facial portions; and is especially effective as indicated by one of those areas where the minor lesion is existent - in those areas about the auditory forces.
5. This as we find would be materially aided if there would be left off the deep therapy treatments and taken instead at least half a dozen adjustments as may be given by Dobbins.
6. Not chiropractic in this particular case, but osteopathic. For these will set up a coordination with this character of manipulation that would not be done by merely relieving the pressure - and is not done by the massage.
7. The hydrotherapy treatments are very good, but there is not being the proper coordination made in the movements of the segments of the upper dorsal and cervical area. Then, there would be a general massage rather than adjustments in these treatments.
8. In the activities of the body, it is well that the body - during these treatments - be more active in the open, especially in walking. This would be well for the body.
9. As to the diet, those things that make for the accumulations from starches are not so well. Beware of too much sweets, especially when any alcoholic liquors of any nature are taken.
10. Do these as we find for the better conditions of [877].
11. Ready for questions.

12. (Q) What should be done for the scaly formation on the lobes of my ears? (A) As indicated, this arises from the poor circulation. It is well at times to apply locally a little Cuticura Ointment; this only, of course, of an evening. But with the manipulations, with the precautions as to the diet, and with the activity more in the open, these would all work together to relieve this condition.
13. (Q) What should my normal weight be? (A) The weight is very good in the present. A little bit over, but if there is the walking and the activities - this will be nearer normal. The use of the Radio-Active Appliance keeps nearer the normalcy as to weight, if any pressures are removed along the cerebrospinal system. This would be true for most any body, and it would work well with this body. This does not mean the Appliance being used spasmodically, but rather - not just routine, but - for definite periods of ten days to two weeks, each day, and then left off for near a like period. This will keep a normal balance, as well as aid much in circulation and aid in the abilities of the body to rest.
14. (Q) What should be done for the sticky feeling of eyes? (A) This is the same thing as indicated, that the lesion which prevents the normal flow is in those areas of the cerebrospinal system from which the superficial circulation to these portions receives its nerve impulse from the blood supply in the upper dorsal and cervical area. Hence, as we have indicated, the lesions should be removed OSTEOPATHICALLY - and in the form or manner as Dobbins uses.
15. (Q) How many cabinet baths and massage a week should be taken? (A) Once a week should be sufficient.
16. (Q) Any special diet? (A) As indicated. Take those precautions as regarding too much sweets and starches. Not that all of the carbohydrates or the activities of starch are to be eliminated, but excessive, see? Also avoid combinations of white bread and potatoes or gravies and potatoes, or rice and bread - no two of these ever at the same meal; they form, from the very activities of these, disturbing conditions with alcohol in the system.
17. (Q) Any further advice? (A) These we would do in the present. Six to eight

treatments or adjustments, and these in regular form would be the better.
