R E A D I N G
Time of Reading 10:55 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., La. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [878].
2. Now, as we find, there are very definite conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of the body. These have to do with the coordination between the impulses in the circulatory system as related to the activity of the nerve forces and the blood supply, produced by the thinning of the walls in portions of the system of assimilation and in the circulatory forces making for pus formations in same that have made for pressure upon the activity in the nerve and mental forces - as well as in the physical forces of the body. And these bring about the incoordinations as we find in this body.
3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [878] we are speaking of:
4. The BLOOD SUPPLY indicates a disturbance both in the assimilation and in the manner in which the infectious forces are from leakages in the lacteal duct centers and those that would radiate between those and the lower hepatic circulation, through the activities of the pelvis organs as related to that assimilated; that make for this stimulation - and these corded conditions that appear along the lower portion of the dorsal and upper lumbar areas. These are the areas from which, in the cerebrospinal system, we may find the reflex forces that are shown by the nerve centers or ganglia in the lower lumbar and lower dorsal area.
5. In the NERVOUS FORCES, as indicated, this shows for an activity that makes for the nerves of the cerebrospinal and of the sympathetic not coordinating in their activities through the body; but bringing rather the incoordinations in the impulses and in the activities for the physical forces of the body.
6. As to the general physical organisms, all of these show the disorders that occur from these at times; making for

varied conditions that arise, and showing in the manner in which the circulation through portions of the organisms affects the system.
7. In meeting the needs in the present, as we would find, there are those necessary influences to be builded to make for that upon which the stabilization of the physical body may be brought to better conditions, or for those things that would make for the proper corrections that would maintain their reactions in the body.
8. First we would prepare, then, a compound in this manner:
9. To 1 gallon of distilled water, we would add: Wild Cherry Bark................1 ounce, Sarsaparilla Root.............1/2 ounce, Yellow Dock Root..............1/2 ounce, Burdock Root..................1/2 ounce, Dogfennel.....................1/4 ounce, Buchu Leaves..................1/2 dram, Mandrake Root...................3 grains. Boil this together for sufficient time to reduce, when strained off, to 1 1/2 pints. When strained, and while warm, add 3 ounces of pure grain alcohol with 2 drams of Balsam of Tolu cut in same. Shake the solution together before the dosage is to be given, which would be 1/2 teaspoonful 4 times each day, before the meals and before retiring.
10. Each of these ingredients is to act upon or influence the digestive forces and make for such changes in the assimilating forces that the reactory forces from the plain Radio-Active Appliance may equalize the circulation the better, you see.
11. We would also make a general massage just before each application of the Radio-Active Appliance each day. We would make specific corrections in the coccyx area and in the 12th dorsal area, where these lesions as indicated show disturbance; not only as to the pelvic organs but the coordinations in the lower axis of the body.
12. Do this and then, in sixty to ninety days, we would give those changes necessary to bring the better conditions for this body of [878].
13. Ready for questions.
14. (Q) How often and for what period of time should the Radio-Active Appliance be used? (A) As indicated, each day - AFTER the massage and the correction in the coccyx area and the last dorsal center, see; coordinating with, of course, the axis of the body. As
878-1 Page 3
for the period of application, from thirty minutes to an hour.
15. (Q) If these treatments are followed, will the body ever be normal or near normal? (A) This will, of course, depend upon the body-response. But as we find, these will make for such corrections that in the sixty to ninety days there may be given as to what percent there will be the normal balance in the coordinating influences through the body, see? First do these as indicated. This is slow, but it has been a growth, a change. But being persistent and consistent, we should bring better conditions for this body.
16. We are through for the present. Two copies to Mrs. [872] (one for Osteopath in charge of case with directions for massage Copy to Ass'n file and corrections) (The Radio-Active Appliance may be obtained from the Reilly Service, 1908 Broadway, New York City. Ask for the Plain Radio-Active Appliance to be attached to opposite extremities, with directions for its proper use. See letter [which was enclosed] to Druggist with directions for compound to be taken internally. If everything is not clear, let us know. GD.)
