Time of Reading 3:25 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [879].
2. Now, as we find, there is something of a bordering on complications of disturbance in the physical forces of this body, [879] we are speaking of.
3. There are not only the effects of the disturbance that upset a portion of the functioning organs of the body, but those disturbances that make for the reflex conditions that cause this disturbance in the system.
4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [879], we are speaking of:
5. In the BLOOD SUPPLY we find there is an oversupply or overabundance of toxic forces that are left in the system, yet at other times these conditions apparently clear. But they leave at such times, in the locomotory centers and in portions of the body, the effects of these disturbances; causing then that accumulation in the tendons and the muscular forces which brings about distresses for the system. These are as the activities towards or in the blood supply, that accumulate from toxic forces of the body centers, that arise within the system.
6. The NERVOUS FORCES of the body make for or show the distresses that are produced by these accumulations or these activities that prevent the movements, or the activity necessary for the elimination of the toxic forces and the poisons that are left - or accumulations in the system. But these are the results of the activities of the organs rather than upon the nervous forces or system itself; though we find both the sympathetic and cerebrospinal nerve system involved in the conditions.
7. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, these show distresses in the various manners of their activity, or through their cycle of activity at various times. But the
879-1 Page 2
greater distress, as we find, is in the digestive force itself, where there have been those tendencies for too great a quantity of the lymph circulation to accumulate, as to make for lymph formings in protuberances, as it were, in the folds at times. This, with the type of poor elimination - opposite upon one another - makes for the complications, so that when one portion of the body is aided by that ordinarily applied the other apparently after a bit seems to suffer; or there is no PERMANENT reflex that makes for curative forces to remain the greater effective with this body.
8. In those activities of this portion, there tends to make for a pus that causes distresses not only for the hepatics but through the kidneys themselves, and the throwing off of same through the bladder and the activity there. But in the hepatics in the other pole, or in the liver itself, we have also the effects of these.
9. As we find, in meeting the needs of these conditions, these may be materially helped; but will require some persistence, some patience, as well as a change in the activities as conditions are altered from one stage to another, or as there is the setting up of the resistances so that helpfulness to one portion would not make for a detriment to another.
10. These are the necessary influences as we find, then, for the present:
11. To 2 ounces of Syrup made with Honey, add: Essence of Wild Ginseng...............1/4 ounce, Essence of Indian Turnip................5 minims, Tincture of Stillingia................1/4 ounce. Shake these together before the dosage is taken, which would be 1/2 teaspoonful after each meal.
12. We would begin with the massage for the conditions in the extremities, in the various joints and the locomotories, lower portion as well as the upper portion of the body. This will relieve the TENSIONS in portions of the system, FROM those ganglia in the locomotory centers. For such massaging we would use a compound prepared in this manner:
13. To 4 ounces of Russian White Oil, add: Oil of Cedar Wood.......................1 ounce, Oil of Wintergreen......................1 ounce, Oil of Mustard.........................20 drops, Oil of Sassafras......................1/4 ounce, Kerosene Oil............................2 ounces.
879-1 Page 3
These will tend to separate, but shake well together before using. Twice or three times a week massage what the body absorbs, and then sponge the body off across the lumbar, the solar plexus, the brachial plexus area specifically, with WARM water. Do not massage so thoroughly with this solution that it tends to blister, for it will tend to redden - even from the applications; but do not massage or rub sufficiently to cause too great an irritation, but just what the body will absorb by a gentle massage - especially in those centers; the knee, the elbow and shoulder, as the indications arise for the distresses in these areas.
14. As to the diet, keep the more specific alkalin-reacting foods. And let one meal each day, whether in the evening or noon, be wholly of raw vegetables. These may be prepared either with an oil dressing or mayonnaise, but should be well chopped; they may all be combined and taken as a combination, or those portions taken that suit the body's taste. Do not take citrus fruit juices AND cereals at the same meal. At least twice a week we would have the cereal of the whole or cracked wheat, well prepared; not a great quantity but sufficient that the vitamins of the iron, the silicon and the like may be absorbed from the wheat itself and be taken by the body.
15. After these have been done, following these suggestions until the whole quantity of the compound has been taken - that is to act with the digestive forces and the blood supply of the body, reducing the acidity and making for the gentler reactions through the eliminations - we would then give further instructions.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) How should the honey be prepared for the compound? (A) The syrup made with honey, see? Boiling with water as would be the right proportions for making syrup, see?
18. (Q) Is there any prospect of a complete cure for the body? (A) This, as we find, should bring relief. As to the responses the body makes to these applications, will depend upon how PERMANENT may be the relief or the cure for the body, see?
19. (Q) Will the patient be able to get up at all after following these treatments? (A) The patient should be very much better after the four or five days of this, see? Then, as to whether the body will be able to get up or not will depend upon the general treatments, see? Do this for those periods as indicated, and - as we find -
879-1 Page 4
we will bring the better results for this body.
20. We are through for the present. Copy to Daughter " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] to Druggist with directions for preparing compound. The ingredients for the massage may be obtained separately and added by self at home. Let us know when the whole of the compound has been taken, so we may make an appointment for a Check Reading to give further instructions. If everything is not clear, let us know. GD.)
