Born October 23, 1885, in Sulphur Springs, Ohio. Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Life Reading Suggestion)
1. EC: (In going back over years from present - "1928 - a change - '27, '26 - '16 - lot of change in environment - '15, '14 - " etc., on back to birth date.)
2. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [880].
3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, it is sought to interpret same in such a manner as to make these constructive in the experience of the entity.
4. For each soul enters an experience in the earthly or material sojourn for its own development, for its activity as related to the constructive spiritual influence in the material planes; to lose self more and more in constructive activity for definite purposes.
5. The sojourns in the environs about the earth, or the astrological activities, become a portion then of the influence, such as may be psychologically ascribed to the hereditary influence; or these are inherited influences then and become as innate urges in the experience.
6. On the other hand, the material sojourns become - as in the present experience - the environmental influences, or those through the emotional influences of the body; hence oft these become more outstanding, as it were, in the present experience.
7. All of these are urges but none of these surpass the will of the entity as a whole - that which is the gift of the Creative Influence or Force, or God, to each soul; that it, that soul, that entity, may know itself to BE itself yet one with the Creative Forces.
8. Hence in giving the astrological as well as material sojourns, these are relative then according to the application of the will respecting that which the entity sets as its ideal.
880-2 Page 2
9. That these influences produce then inclinations, or become karmic - as you term - or become an overempowering influence, is only according to the measure of the will in relationship to Creative or God Force in the experience of the entity.
10. In this particular experience then, of this entity [880], we find these:
11. The sojourns in Jupiter we find producing that within the innate forces - as may deal with the larger influences in the material activity, yet remaining individual as to its application; that is, the very activity of the entity has an influence upon others yet becomes individual in its application.
12. Those influences from Venus make for that innate urge of sympathy, of love, of indulgence in directions for the entity and allowing itself oft to be - from the material angle - imposed upon by others. Yet these very influences may be applied in the constructive force of thinking. For remember, Mind IS the Builder - and creates that influence for the choice BY the relationships of its activity for constructive forces in the experience; or indulgences that become in the nature of self-indulgence, self-glorification, self- satisfaction. These are well in their import, unless they become as stumbling-stones rather than stepping-stones.
13. Success in the material as well as satisfaction and success in the spiritual lies in the application of an entity in its choice. Use those things that may become stumbling-stones as stepping-stones for the attaining of that sought within the self.
14. From the Mercurian influence we find the high mental ability of the entity, and the innate desire to deal with THINGS - that have to do with people, rather than with people themselves.
15. Hence in a mathematical turn does the entity reason - for itself - in the material as well as spiritual; that if this or that is to be relied upon, then the other must be the answer to the question.
16. In the experiences of the entity, then, it behooves the entity to consider not only what it believes but in WHOM it believes. Belief becomes not merely conviction but EXPERIENCE that is the convincing of that in which faith AND conviction has been attained, by the application of that as related to the ideals of the entity.
17. From Saturn's forces again we find continued change. Yet in the Jupiterian, with Saturn's, we find the new oft becoming that upon which the entity, in its mental forces, may take the greater hope.
880-2 Page 3
18. Hence oft the entity is considered rather unorthodox in many of those influences that go to make up the moral, the economic and the general welfare in the experiences of others.
19. If these variations are the self-expressions of that it has found GOOD, well. If they are the expressions only for the attraction of the admiration of others, they may become stumblingstones.
20. These are then but choices of the entity.
21. In relationships to these we find that there are the elementals or material things that become as a portion of the experience of this entity.
22. Hence we find numbers, or numerology, as well as symbols becoming a portion of the entity's experience. We would find that something BLUE always worn about the body will create a vibration that enables the entity to think, as it were, without interruption; but the blue should be not dark - nor that real light - but more of an even shade. The lapis lazuli stone would be well to wear about the body. This is as a chrysalis to be sure of copper; thus the very natures of same produce those emanations for the body in which the environ is made for keeping holy things holy, and material things in their proper relationships. For it acts as it were as a storage of energies of the inner self.
23. As to the appearances in the earth that have their influence upon the entity in the immediate present, or the now - these while not great in numbers in the present show their variations and the INCLINATIONS for the entity in the environmentals of the entity in the present sojourn:
24. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity, when there were the periods of the first settlings in the land, when there were the establishings about that now known as Chicago - or Dearborn during those experiences of the entity.
25. The entity was among those people of that particular land that made for the establishing of the forts; and was in the name then Keays. Is there a wonder that the name has meant much to the entity, both for disturbance as well as satisfaction?
26. Then the name was Amelia Keays: and the entity gained; gained in its abilities to deal with the natives in trade, in commerce, in the activities.
27. Hence we find in the present experience commercial tradings, lands, holdings, various characters of stocks or bonds have a HOLD as it were; a vision of something that must be held or gained control of by the entity. These are well if they are applied in such measures or manners that
880-2 Page 4
they may be creative in their activity; that is, bringing into the experience of all that may be associated or affiliated in such, a constructive experience; that is, creative; building that which is the essence of what? AS YE SOW, SO MUST YE REAP.
28. Before that we find the entity was in the land now called the Roman, during those periods when there were the beginnings of the teachings, and the persecutions in high places, of those that were of that called the Christian world, or those activities in the land.
29. The entity then was of noble birth, being then in the household of the rulers - as of Claudius; and in the activities brought consternation for self, disturbing forces to some materially, satisfaction of spiritual understandings to MANY that had material disturbances.
30. Through the experience the entity gained and lost; in the name then Ptoleman - the entity was BEAUTIFUL, the entity ruled by the very might of self, the entity influenced many in those periods of activity - yet they could not be said to have been destructive, but rather creative in that brought as the emotions of the body-entity in the present.
31. As the entity holds friendships in the present - those though they may be of the varied stations in the social or material life, these were as the experiences then. If they are held as constructive forces they become a part of that upon which the entity may find the greater satisfaction or the greater peace rather than satisfaction.
32. For the joy of living in any material experience is dependent upon the peace of mind, not indolence but activative peace, activative harmony. Though the entity has seen, has known, has touched much inharmony, that desire for harmony reaches almost to that as is sought by the musician in bringing about the arousing of the emotions in the harmonies of that which answers to the chords within the body; whether in movements for the dance or for the arousing of the emotions for the celestial or the terrestial activity in the emotions of an individual.
33. These rise then in the experience of the entity not only from the religious motives but the mental, the moral, in the social, in the friendly relationships.
34. For friendships mean much to the entity, from that particular sojourn.
35. Before that we find the entity was in the land now called the Egyptian, during those periods when there were turmoils and strifes from the activities of the Natives as well as the turmoils from within the particular land owing
880-2 Page 5
to the upheavals produced by the banishment of the Priest.
36. The entity came into activity, or material sojourn, during those periods of turmoil, and was in the household of the Priest - or was among those that were of the Priest's OWN household. Hence the material disturbances, the mental reactions, produced by the social and political activities, brought many confusing forces for the entity during that experience.
37. Yet with the return and when the entity had grown to that age or period called accountability in the material world, these brought harmonious experiences.
38. For the entity aided in the establishing of the homes for the unfortunate, for the teachings of all the additions that might bring conveniences, that might make for activities in the experiences of the peoples of the land; growing closer and closer to the activity of the Priest and the Temple Beautiful in the experience - and thus became a teacher, one raised in its latter days to the position of almost being worshipped by the peoples that came especially from afar.
39. The name then was Osseis.
40. In the experience the entity gained throughout.
41. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:
42. It may be seen from the experiences in the earthly sojourns, from the astrological aspects, we have many confusing influences in the present experience. But most of these have been or may be constructive in the activities in the present.
43. First, then, know, determine, what you believe and why, and that it is constructive in your own experience.
44. Hence in your final analysis the ideal becomes spiritual, mental and material.
45. Apply self, in its associations with others, as to make each relationship something to be hoped for, bettered, by the very fact of the individuals knowing, being with the activities of the entity.
46. And in this you may build that which becomes more and more harmonious in your sojourn in the present.
47. For the try - the TRY - is the righteousness in materiality. For God looks on the purpose and not as man counts righteousness.
48. Ready for questions.
49. (Q) I have a piece of property called St. Catherine's Island which is in default. Foreclosure threatened January 1st. It has potential value in timber which would pay for itself if it could be sold. Can I save it and by what means?
880-2 Page 6
(A) As we find, there are those who are seeking such timbers; especially those in the Hegan Wood Works, as of Louisville, Kentucky, and Saginaw, Michigan. Through those channels we find this may be disposed of - the timber - in such manners as to save most of that and bring about potential gainings for the entity.
50. (Q) What am I best qualified to do in life to fulfillmy destiny? (A) As indicated, as to what may be accomplished. Just making each association with others such that the experience, the world, is bettered by that activity. This induced then into ANY phases of the material associations may bring satisfaction and harmony. It is not as an INDEFINITE direction, but as one may fit self to oft take stock of self, as to what are the purposes of the experiences. Just for the satisfying of self, or that the glory of the love of friend and the glory of the manifestation of the divine in all - which is the innate and manifested experience - may be magnified in the lives of others? Just being kind and patient.
51. (Q) In what part of this country or world should I live to be happiest? (A) As we find, in the environs or the surroundings in which there are the OPPORTUNITIES for the expression of that which is innate. For as has been indicated, in no material experience has the entity not gained. Hence in the application of that which is held as the ideal, you will find the greater joy and harmony and happiness in this experience.
52. (Q) Will my husband be able to come back in the business world so as to pay his debts? (A) As we find, there have already been set in motion those associations and connections wherein this will gradually be accomplished.
53. (Q) What is my greatest fault? (A) Condemning of self.
54. (Q) Through whom should the approach be made to sell this timber? (A) Through a furniture association, for these - and such - may best use it.
55. (Q) Any special or specific furniture company? (A) This company as indicated supplies to the many, rather than an individual. Hegan of Louisville and Saginaw.
56. We are through for the present.
