Time of Reading At home in 3:45 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Iowa. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [885]; this we have had before. Not so good are the reactions in the physical forces of this body in the present, from that as we last had same. There has not been the entire adherence to the applications that have been suggested. There are the necessities for changes; for there are the tendencies for the alterations in those periods when there are the incoordinations between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal forces. For since the first approach, the spasmodic conditions, we find - or those tendencies for the epileptic or cataleptic conditions that concur one with another in the reactions of the body - are more violent, not only with self but for those about the body.

2. While there are those about same that make for the best reactions AT TIMES, apparently, as we find the institutional conditions or surroundings WOULD be much preferable for this body under the existent conditions. For these conditions bring those periods when there is real danger for the body as well as for those close to the body.

3. As we find, such a place as Still-Hildreth in Macon, Missouri, would be the more preferable under the existent conditions. There we would not only have the precautions that are taken in such an institution, but we would follow a method of treatment in this manner:

4. We would have the use of the hot Castor Oil packs over the caecum and the gall duct and the lacteal duct area. These should be given for periods of two or three days at the time, with a rest period of leaving them off for two or three days in between each two to three day period of application. Use three to four thickness of heavy flannel dipped in Castor Oil and applied over these areas; kept hot and constantly saturated with the hot oil.

5. Also make the adjustments that will be found necessary, not only for the quieting of the body - in the coccyx and the lumbar area, but from the 3rd and 4th dorsal to the base of the brain.

6. These, as we find, are the preferable conditions for this body, [885].

7. We are through with this reading.
