Time of Reading 10:40 to 11:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [887], ..., New York City, together with her business and business associates; including [...] and [938], [...] and [...], [...], who are present with her at this time, also [...], [...], [...], ..., N.Y.C. Please advise her if now is the best time to take the European trip as formerly sought concerning through these sources. You will answer the questions that she has submitted, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the enquiring mind, [887] (this we have had before); together with those conditions, those experiences, and the contemplated trip.
3. As we find, this would be advisable in the present, or within the next two weeks or fifteen days; and there should be the CONTRACT for the period of the seven to nine weeks. As this indicates, the trip in itself would be beneficial to most of those concerned. It may make for hardships with [...] and [...], and also some inconvenience to [938], yet as a whole these associations will make for a satisfactory trip. And, through such conditions, with the return to this country in the fall - or in August and September, it will enable them to have even greater prestige, if such is used in that way and manner.
4. In regard to the arrangements, we find that those which have been set through the regular channels of associations are well. Yet all connections, all introductory associations, would be well.
5. Also it would be to the advantage of the group, not only for their social surroundings but for their prestige in their return, and for any FUTURE associations, if there would be some connections that will make for the use of the prestige of Bingham while in London - and in that surrounding. He, to be sure, is the representative of the country from which they go, see?
6. Then, we would make the preparations for the seven to nine weeks, at least. And then USE this upon their

arrangements, or in their arrangements, for the return.
7. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) What can we do to make it unusually successful in addition to our regular contract? (A) As indicated. Use those associations or connections that may be had through those channels as indicated, and the leads that come from same.
9. (Q) Are there any disadvantages in making the trip at this time? (A) Some hardships to those indicated, yet - as a whole - well.
10. (Q) When would be the best sailing time for us? (A) If it is made in two weeks, when WOULD be the best sailing time?
11. (Q) Will it be necessary to take a public address system along with us, as on the last trip, or will we find proper system over there for our purposes? (A) Use the regular routine, WITH letters - or through those channels as indicated, especially BINGHAM.
12. (Q) Would Maurice Pereles' office in London be of assistance to us? (A) Not at a DISADVANTAGE, but not PARTICULARLY of assistance; though well to use those advantages that it may offer.
13. (Q) What warning do I need for my personal guidance? (A) Keep those attitudes of a CONSTRUCTIVE activity; that if there would be the success give something, give that into the experience and the emotions of the individuals whom the group or the body may contact. For if ye would have friends, be friendly; if ye would make a success, give that which is helpful. Not for thine OWN glorification but that the spirit of helpfulness, hopefulness in the experience of those whom ye contact may be aroused. And ye will find there will be the greater results.
14. (Q) What advice is best for the group to remember on this trip? (A) All may remember just that given.
15. (Q) What advice is there for [...]? (A) Just be mindful; be careful of self, of self's own indulgences. And act towards all, EVER, as ye would have others do to you. Not as trite saying, not for its glorification of self, but KEEPING that which is most helpful in the relationships with all.
16. (Q) Will he be able to make the trip without any discomfort? (A) No. But as a whole, helpful to the body.
17. (Q) What will prevent [...] from having seasickness while enroute?
887-2 Page 3
(A) Use a preparation (which is well for all) compounded in this way and manner: Limewater..............................1 ounce, Cinnamon Water.........................1 ounce, 10% solution Iodide of Potassium......20 minims, 10% solution Bromide of Potassium.....20 minims. This, to be sure, does not keep INDEFINITELY; but is good for three to four weeks. Have prepared just before leaving, then. When necessary to take, use a teaspoonful in half a glass of water. This may be taken three to four times a day. Keep quiet. Well to take a thorough purging during the next week, that the system may be in a normal equilibrium. [See 887-2, Par. R2.]
18. (Q) Is there any other advice for him, [...]? (A) Keep self in an attitude of HELPFULNESS, and not of "gimmie-gimmies."
19. (Q) Any other advice for [...]? (A) This would be very good.
20. (Q) For [938]? (A) Be mindful of thy digestive system while abroad. Making such changes will tend to be somewhat upsetting. Just be mindful of the physical directions, and then follow the lead that has been agreed upon - and keep in that way.
21. (Q) Would it be possible to complete all our arrangements and sail within two weeks? (A) It should be.
22. (Q) Is there any plan we should follow here, now, that will be an action for our benefit while we are abroad? (A) Only the general letters or general introductory associations, or those that will make for the proper SOCIAL and the proper relationships in the general activity. The routine, and only those specifically as we have indicated.
23. (Q) When should we return home? (A) When you are through and ready, in making for those associations! Do those.
24. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file
