Time of Reading 3:30 to 3:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Body and enquiring mind, together with [...], [938] and [...], who are present with her in the apartment; also [...] in Apt. ..., Bronx, N.Y. You will advise them as to their present problems, and answer the questions they have submitted, as I ask them.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the enquiring mind, [887]; this we have had before.
2. While problems confront the group, and there have been questions in the mind of [...] as to the advisability of the trip at all; owing to some personal inconveniences, dislike of travel of that nature; as we find, this should make little or no discouragement. For the PHYSICAL conditions of [...], by the time ready for the trip, should be such that it would be well physically for the body if considered from that angle.
3. However, should this decision on the part of [...] [Mgr.], remain as a disagreement, then go ahead with those arrangements that have been considered. For it is the activities of [887] Sisters that are most desired.
4. From those angles of the management, the attention, the other individual is capable, as we find, and would show a very satisfactory handling or activity.
5. It would require, however, that there be very DEFINITE arrangements for the individual trip. But there should not be any hindrance in [...]'s going, as we find, if it is desired on the part of [...] [Mgr.]. And foolish if he doesn't!
6. Ready for questions.
7. (Q) If [...] does not go, or should not go, is there anyone also suggested as alternative besides [...]? (A) [...] would be satisfactory, as indicated. However, as we find, so far as the health of [...] [Mgr.] is concerned, there is no reason why he should not be able to go - and really be better by the trip.
8. (Q) Will the present negotiations with the English firm

be finally accepted on the ... basis or on the English basis? (A) Rather a compilation of each. More on the English, though. Some concessions by the ... basis, but not sufficient to make for any disparagement on the part of any concerned.
9. (Q) What would be a satisfactory compromise for [...] to suggest? (A) Best that this be set or asked that they be met equally or the fifty-fifty on each side.
10. (Q) Will it be to our financial interest to play several of the European engagements on a percentage basis, with minimum guarantee, or on a straight salary basis. (A) Always the better if there is the handling by the business management through associations and connections as have been indicated, on the percentage and the minimum guarantee. This, of course, requires more activity upon the part of the management, or upon the part of those that handle such. But if these are used in a manner that has been indicated and suggested, it would be more satisfactory.
11. (Q) Will it be advisable to re-play a return engagement in Holland (we played there two years ago)? (A) Be very good; VERY good.
12. (Q) Would it be well to play in Paris? (A) Not so acceptable in Paris as it might be in some of the southern portions of France.
13. (Q) What other centers would be profitable to our group? (A) As indicated, those in the SOUTHERN portion. Along the Riviera and in those of similar and kindred activities there.
14. (Q) Should we go to Cannes, Frances, for a rest or holiday? (A) This would be very good. Be very advisable, as we find, for all concerned.
15. (Q) Will there be a definite contract ready for [...] to sign for radio for both [887] and the group [887] Sisters by the time we return from Europe? (A) To be sure, PROVIDED those activities that are necessary for such to be in order are set in motion; whether this is by suggestion, by application, or by merely indicating - through the regular channels through which the activities have been - that they would be open for such an engagement.
16. (Q) What should [...] do to further it? (A) Hasn't it just been indicated.
17. (Q) Any further advice? (A) Much might be given all, concerning their activities or their contact or their seeking. But these best be sought direct. Keep ever, all, in the attitude that - in thy service to

those thou would entertain - something is given out that arouses helpful hopefulness in the experience of the individual or the group or the masses that ye would entertain. For whether ye preach a sermon, or whether ye entertain in those manners befitting to the activities of the group, let it be done with an eye-singleness of SERVICE, of JOY, of helpfulness to thy fellow man. Let thy desires towards them be that ye would bring joy, hope and gladness in their hearts, their minds. And let each and every program contain something of a SPIRITUAL awakening; not only for self, but as ye give, as ye do unto thy fellow man, ye are doing unto the God in thyself - and that ye are due that which makes for hopefulness in every experience.
