Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Portland, Oregon. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [895].

2. Now, as we find, the conditions have been and are rather serious in many respects in the physical forces of the body; yet in the present there may be added that which will make for a better reaction in the lymph circulation, that has caused and does cause such a great hindrance in the body's regaining its strength, and to overcome those tendencies for dizzinesses that occur when the body attempts to move about, to overcome those accumulations that make for too great an amount of mucous formation in the intestinal tract - that makes for bloating at times and a filling up, producing the feeling as of the separation between the outer body and the inner body.

3. We find that there may be brought about great deal better conditions with this body, [895]; and these are the conditions as we find them that exist in the present:

4. In the BLOOD SUPPLY there is very little of the vitality that is necessary to keep an equilibrium through the coordinating forces that make for a balancing in the equilibrium of the body; or the relaxation is so thorough in the nerve forces as to make for dizzinesses when the body even sits erect or stands at times - as of a swimming or turning about in the whole physical forces of the body. This is a lack of coordination in the ducts and glands that lead from the coordinated circulation of the nerve forces through the sympathetic and cerebrospinal at the base of the brain. So the head becomes very heavy and the body as if air, or as floating on air; throbbing even to the soles of the feet and in the hands. These effects are from the FLOODING, as it were, of the brain tissues with what blood supply there is. Yet there is a lack of the elements in the blood supply to create the stamina in the ganglia along the cerebrospinal system. This, as we find, has arisen - as has

895-1 Page 2

been suggested or indicated here - from this accumulation of the phlegm or mucous from the irritations in the colon and in the alimentary canal. So, very poor assimilation has taken place; at times little or nothing apparently is digested by the system. There is little of the activity in the lacteal secretions, either from the salivary glands or from the cardiac portion of the stomach at the end of the esophagus where there should begin the lacteal reactions, the regurgitations in the activity through the pylorus and those portions of the stomach itself - we have little of the acids there, yet the alkalines are low and still are in excess in the system.

5. In stimulating the circulation by any addition of those properties that make for the flowing of the blood from the liver to the heart to the other portions of the system, these are in error. There should be rather that which would stabilize the condition in the physical forces and in the organs' reaction in same.

6. In the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, as we find, all are at rather the loose ends, as it might be said; for at times the secretions that arise even from the glands in the throat, those from the stomach, those from the excesses or the necessity of excess under the condition from the pancreas, the spleen, the liver, all are engorged for the very lack of stabilizing their activity in the physical forces.

7. In making for betterments, as we find, in the present, be very slow; yet make for decided activities in these directions:

8. First have the general massage often, and rub the blood supply superficially over the whole body as well as the limbs, AWAY FROM the head - away from the head! That is, beginning at the 1st dorsal, the 1st cervical, down to the 8th and 9th dorsal, carrying it towards the finger tips, arms and all along. Then from the 9th dorsal we would carry it towards the feet themselves. Gentle massage. Better that this be done in the neuropathic manner; that is, following the nerves from any ganglia or plexus to its smaller or to the ends of the nerves in the portions of the system. Use Olive Oil and Tincture of Myrrh when massaging, equal parts, heating the oil to add the myrrh. Do not use great quantities, but just what the body will absorb at each massaging.

9. Prepare in this manner a compound to be taken internally:

10. As a carrier add together 1 ounce of pure Honey and 2 ounces of distilled water, heated so that the honey may be thoroughly dissolved in same. Then add:

895-1 Page 3

Tincture or Essence of Wild Ginseng...1/2 dram, Essence of Wild Ginger (Now, don't confuse the two; they are entirely separate)..................20 minims, Essence of Indian Turnip...............10 minims, (This is very hot, but is as a stimulant to the gastric forces of the stomach throughout; that will make for an astringent that will prevent these strainings where this bloody mucous comes from those portions of the intestinal system that needs so much attention.) Tincture of Stillingia................1/2 dram. Shake this together before the dose is given, and about every four hours give a half a teaspoonful of this mixture.

11. In the matter of the diet, be very mindful that in the beginning this consists much of pre-digested foods; as the milks that are dried, malted milks with a little stimuli of brandy (preferably apple brandy) - a few drops, not great quantities; just enough to stimulate the activities of the system as to make for a reduction in the activity of the secretions from the spleen and the pancreas to the system. Junket, and things of such nature would be the first characters of food; the yellow of egg, not the white but the yellow of the egg or yolk, that is beat well with a little milk with a little spirits frumenti just to stimulate same.

12. If these things are done, as we find, including the massage, we will find the body will begin to gain its strength.

13. Do not attempt too great an activity at the first but gradually a little more; moving first the lower limbs, then again the upper portion of the body; sitting up and then moving about with same, gently - and as the movements begin - increase the food values for the strength of the body.

14. After three or four days, when it becomes necessary for the activities through the alimentary canal (for this must be kept cleansed, even with these stimulations indicated), we would use the Fletcher's Castoria - but take in very small quantities; ten to fifteen drops taken every thirty minutes until same has passed through the system. Let the system absorb these properties so that it will sweeten the gastric flow, making for the better activity and less of those contractions in the pylorus and in the cardiac portion even of the stomach, reducing the swelling and the tendency for the dizziness.

15. Do that.

16. Ready for questions.

17. (Q) Should the honey and water be allowed to cool before adding the other properties for the compound? (A) This doesn't matter.

18. (Q) Is there any stage of tuberculosis in the system? (A) This is rather a wasting of the system; not tubercular in its activity.

19. (Q) Is there any cancerous condition? (A) Again we find, as indicated, the loss through the strains would tend to make for such indications; yet it is not cancerous in its nature - though the mucous and the milk discharge would give these indications. This is the SYSTEM'S attempting to combat this weakness produced by the overalkalinity, see?

20. (Q) How often should the round of Fletcher's Castoria be repeated? (A) This should be taken, as indicated, when it is necessary for the eliminations through the alimentary canal. Now this will produce (by the taking of the properties in the compound indicated) a much better regularity in these directions. The first round of the Castoria would require a little more than a small bottle, you see, so that it will be more than a day in taking same. After that, however, it would be well to use an enema, but very gently. Do not use too much water at a time to dilate the colon so as to cause a distress, but enough to cleanse the system. In ALL the water taken as an enema, use an antiseptic such as the Glyco-Thymoline, in the proportions of a tablespoonful to a quart of tepid water.

21. (Q) Should there be more than one round of the Castoria taken? (A) This will be found necessary to be taken more than once, but the Castoria includes the better properties for this body - for it will assimilate those activities and principles from same.

22. (Q) Would the body need a laxative regularly? (A) As indicated, if these properties as given in the compound are taken properly, it will stimulate the organs of digestion in such a manner as for this NOT to be necessary. DO this in the manner as indicated. And when the body does not respond sufficiently, it is well that the Castoria as an eliminant be taken.
