1. EC: Yes, we have the entity and those records as recorded here of the entity now known as [897].
2. In entering the present experience, we find those influences from the astrological as being very little in the present experience. There are innate influences in the experience of all from those sojourns in environs about the earth, known as the astrological or sojourns within this own solar system. So the influences from the position of the sun, the astrological aspects in this or that association of the zodiacal influences, do appear; but the entity has applied, does apply, the will's influence respecting same. Hence there is no greater influence in the experience of an entity in a manifested manner than what may be met or applied by the will of the entity, that influence which is given through the Creative Forces that makes for the soul becoming one with or in opposition with same. And it is for the purpose of becoming one with the Creator that each soul comes into the experience in any sphere.
3. We find Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Venus, appearing in the chart; more in the experience of the entity through its sojourns there. Yet what the entity has done, does do about such influences, has made and does make these in the present as negligible in the experience. While there are those natural tendencies from such astrological sojourns, these the entity has builded in such a manner that the material or earthly sojourns - and that the entity applies respecting the universal consciousness or law - become rather the leading influences in the experience.
4. And many have been the sojourns in the earth; so these find in the emotional body, in the mental body, a greater activity in the present sojourn.
5. As to the appearances in the earth, then, and those that
897-1 Page 2
make for an influence in the entity's present experience, we find these:
6. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, when there were those periods of the land becoming as a separate unit, or in those periods of activity when there was the setting up of the governmental activities or influences as Lord Baltimore made for the grants that brought to those peoples in that sojourn, that land and activity, the separating as to the forces of their relationships with other lands, with other groups of the same land.
7. The entity then, in the name Carson, made for a special activity during those periods as a clerk (as would be called in the present), or as a recorder of the activities of groups that met for such actions and such exemplifications of the ideas of the groups that met for the undertakings. Hence in the present we may find the political influences or party organizations, particularly groups of different characters or kinds, become of special interest to the entity. Yet unless these are in line with that the entity holds as the spiritual motivative force in its experience, the entity gradually loses interest in same. And yet it finds periods when it rather condemns, and others when it condones its activities in these directions.
8. Hence the entity may find in this particular experience that any faction or any group to which it may enjoin itself as an activative force may - through the entity - wield a great deal of power. Whether for good or for woe depends upon that which is, innately and manifestedly in the experience of the entity, the motivative force therein. Hence the entity may do a great deal of good in ANY group, any organization, any party affiliation or association; whether it be for the moral, the material, the political or what. The entity naturally, innately, is one that may wield influence among groups. Not so much as leader but rather as the selecting or the directing. Hence the entity will always be a prop, an emotion, an experience for individuals whom the entity may contact. And as the entity keeps its ideals, as the entity keeps its purposes, so may the entity make for its application, ITS portion of becoming a part of any movement with which it may choose to associate or affiliate self.
9. Before that we find the entity was in that English land when there were the gatherings of individuals who would defend for a purpose, for an ideal, the Holy Land; during those periods known as the Crusades from the English land, when there was the union of Church and State in the
897-1 Page 3
activities in the defense of groups, in the defense of the organizations that had arisen during those periods of the development throughout the land.
10. The entity then was one that aided much in creating that influence which prompted many about its own land, in what is now Sussex. And there may be found there much that was a portion of the entity's activities, as Katherine O'Leene, in that particular experience. For the entity was quite outspoken in its activities among not only those of the young but those of the elders that made for a motivative influence as in defense of the Holy Land.
11. With the failures of many in whom the entity had put a great deal of confidence, for the ideals that the entity had instilled in the hearts, souls and minds of many that enjoined themselves to that activity, it brought a crushing to the entity - as it were - and a questioning in self as to whether there were those real applications to be had in the experience of men by holding to those things that made for PHYSICAL defense of a spiritual ideal.
12. And in the experience in the present the entity finds those periods of activity of special interest to the self in study and in meditating upon those promptings of those peoples during that sojourn. Yet within self innately does there come that desire not only to analyze but to attempt to apply all of the various thoughts that may be presented in the ideas or the lives of individuals as respecting their soul, their moral, their religious life in the material plane.
13. The lack of rote, or the lack of the desire of rote to apply to self or to others, arises also innately in the entity's inmost self from the experience during that sojourn. Yet the greater portion of self, the greater portion of the activity, may be said to have been for an advancement during that period. There were periods of oppression, periods of misunderstanding, miscomprehension as to that which would hold in the ideals or in the minds and activities of those that had made such professions and such promises. And again from that experience there comes in the present that tendency for the entity not often to desire to have others promise as upon oath; rather as in what they say in the gentler way or manner, or as the joke. Yet a great deal of that which arises within self to be not sentimental, not staid, yet of a unison of activity in every sense, arises from that experience.
14. Before that we find the entity was in that experience when the Master walked among men, during those periods when there were the trials, the tribulations being brought in
897-1 Page 4
many of the peoples, when He gave, "I must go up that I may be offered as the living sacrifice." [See Matt. 16:21.]
15. The entity was among those that followed, as it were, afar off; during those periods or days when there were the hosannas in the triumphal entry in the city; and again afar off when the day arose that He was lifted as between the earth and sky, so that those who looked, those who beheld, might know that they - themselves - must pass along that road, CRUCIFYING in their bodies that which would make for the gratifying of desires, that which would make for an exaltation of self rather than those tenets as He gave: "The new commandment I give, that ye love one another."
16. Then the entity was of those people that came from Lycaonia, or in those portions of the cultures of the Grecians in the upper portions of the Samarian land; yet the entity embraced those tenets during those periods of activity, associating self with the holy women that made for the caring of the body during those periods of its preparation hurriedly - as it were; for the day was at an end when it was delivered to Joseph of Arimathaea, and those that took care of same. Yet these were as friends to the entity in that experience.
17. And the entity, in the name Cleopias, in the latter part of that sojourn - as it returned to its own land - became of that place, that household, where there were many of the faithful that became as the ministers and the teachers for those activities that soon began in the land. And the entity made for those applications that brought to the entity the greater development during the sojourn in that land.
18. For, as the entity may experience in self throughout, that as was given, that as He the man represented in that taught was the Law of One; that each soul is a portion - its own portion - of that Creative Force that we may make manifest by the manner in which we minister to those whom we contact in every way, in every manner; whether they be those in high estate or those that are struggling along the road of fear and doubt, or those that have fallen by the wayside. For each soul is precious in His sight, and He hath not willed that any should perish but that all - through that WILL as was manifested in the man that the entity, Cleopias, saw hung upon the tree upon the hill - might have eternal life in Him.
19. In the present experience these become as the tenets, the expressions. Yet if the entity applies these more and more in the inner self, these do not become as periods, as places, as happenings, but as EXPERIENCES in the inner self.
897-1 Page 5
20. Before that we find the entity was in that land now known as the Persian and Arabian, during those periods when many from many lands went to the city in the hills and the plains for the teachings of that teacher there; where health was brought to those weary in body, racked with the throes of disease and distrust.
21. The entity was among the princesses, then, of the East - or the Indian land, in and about that land now known as Poona or Pooma. And the entity joined with those that went for the teachings of that teacher in the city of the hills and plains. When there had been gained much by those sojournings or those actions there, the entity returned to its own land for the giving out to its own peoples those tenets, lessons and truths that had been gained in that experience.
22. The entity became one of power, one leading many in those ways. And that lesson gained in the present, of tolerance to all for their activity, for their understanding, arises from that gained by the entity in that sojourn. Much might be given as to the activities of the Princess Feheeni in that experience, but throughout did the entity gain. For many of those things that deal with the associations of individuals in all of its activities arise from that as presented by the entity during the experience.
23. Before that we find the entity was in that period when there were the gatherings of many from the various teachers in the land, from those of the Gobi and Mongolian land, those from the Indian land, those from the Egyptian land, those that had been as a portion of the Atlantean land, those from the Carpathian and those from the Caucasian land - as they gathered for what today would be called the UNIFYING of the tenets or the truths or the teachings of many. THESE the entity aided in, as among those from the Caucasian land - or, as known then, the entity was the White Princess that RULED in those establishments in that now known as the upper activities of what has descended from same - the Lamu or the Persian, the Delhi, the peoples from the Himalayas; all came from those deeper tenets that the entity set up from its application among its own peoples that gathered about the entity, as a teacher in that experience.
24. In the name then, or as called, LaMoo, the entity surpassed many of the teachers of the day. The entity made for those periods of meditation and meeting with those as of Saneid in the Indian land, as those of Ra-Ta in the Egyptian land, as those of SaSu [?] in the Mongolian land. For all were as brethren in their activities during that experience.
897-1 Page 6
25. THEN did the earth in that portion of same enjoy that period of rest from strife, that rose from many.
26. Hence PEACE is as the INNATE influence in the entity's experience in the present.
27. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain, and how:
28. It may be seen in the various experiences from the very high to the periods when the squabbles of the minor political influences have arisen in the experience of the entity, if it turns within for those influences that may make for the awareness within self of the greater truths that have been the experience of the entity, the entity may choose, the entity may aid, the entity may direct the affairs of many. For, irrespective of the entity's activities, MANY will ever be INFLUENCED by that the entity does in its associations with others.
29. Hence there are those things, those experiences, that the entity may use in the present to assist others in finding themselves.
30. Then, as an analyst of abilities, as one that may aid others in their material, their mental, their spiritual application of that they have in hand, the entity may find the greater work in this sojourn.
31. Ready for questions.
32. (Q) In what incarnation was I associated, and in what relation, to my present mother? (A) The mother then, in the previous incarnation, was the wife of self. As to the relationships with the mother, much may be said as respecting same in the previous incarnation. For how oft, even since the appearance in the associations in the present, has the mother sought counsel from the self; much more than self has sought counsel from the mother!
33. (Q) What was the past relation with my present father? (A) This, as we find, was during that sojourn in the English land, when the present father was among those in whom the entity was at times sorely disappointed.
34. (Q) Should I marry again? If so, when would be the best time? (A) Within the next two years should this be accomplished; for such associations will bring about greater happiness in the experience of the entity.
35. (Q) Should I marry anyone that I know at present? (A) Someone whom the entity knows at present would be the better, as we find; though this is only given from the influences - not as we find direct.
36. (Q) Should the talent for writing be developed? (A) Talent for writing, and especially the talent of
897-1 Page 7
ministering to others in their needs. And these find a way of expression in the writing. The most of all, know innately within self there are those activities that make for and bring the how, the manner, the way. That thou hast innately in thine inner self is expressed. For, as given, many will ever be influenced by that thou givest out.
