1. GC: You will give a physical, financial and mental reading, answering the questions as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see. We have the physical, the financial, the mental conditions, with and for this body.
3. (Q) You will give the condition of the ears, especially the left ear, and the cure for same. (A) In this we find the condition much as we have given before, there being the condition where [there is] the interruption of the circulation as regards the cochlea in ear, in the left especially, by the deflection as is seen in the cervical region that supplies the nutriment in nerve tissue from body and blood supply. The eruption and the transfusion as is seen emitted in the cochlea, from conditions as given, shows how that the condition is produced through this interrupted circulation. The correction and assistance may be given by the treating of same, osteopathically, along the line of the Eustachian tube; that is, from the internal treatments, osteopathically, under the palate and in this portion of body. When the discharge and trouble occurs, apply heated, or warm, St. Jacob's Oil in the cochlea proper. This will form healing properties and prevent the discharge until the system is adjusted by the alleviating of the impingements in cervical region. This we find was produced from congestion in this portion of the body when the body was in the developing stage, and produced the taxing to the body that brought about the lesions causing the disturbances. Do that.
4. (Q) Give the condition of the teeth, specifying ones that need attention, why and how? (A) In this we find better conditions than when we had this before. In that condition that is needed for correction, we find in that one next to stomach tooth, on the left side, where there is the action of refuge forces in the system not eliminated by conditions as exist in the facial circulation, producing trouble in the nerve supply to this particular
900-2 Page 2
tooth, and the treatment would be to either use the manipulation to cause the circulation to become normal, as given, for ear and face, or to destroy the nerve in tooth proper, that there be no receding in the gum or the infection arising from this condition.
5. (Q) How may he improve his acquisition of worldly goods? (A) This covers a great scope, and may not all be given at the present time, for there are many channels open for such conditions at present, and many more to arise in the days and weeks and months and years to come. For the specific conditions at present, we would find there have been of late some conditions in the street operations that have been unsatisfactory; that is, relations to the association as a whole, but to increase the worldly possessions in this specific instance, follow the leads as will be given directly in the next three to four days. After satisfying self and associates of this change, then with the following of this will bring much gain to the body, [900], direct and to many associates. [See 900-3.] In the broader sense of such conditions, to increase the worldly possessions, follow in the line as has been given, following the abilities of many small producing institutions, and in the whole this will bring much financial gain. For the abilities of this body, in the financial gain as it were, lie in the ability to gain the full scope of capacity of many small institutions and groups of people, and in being able to give that experience that will enable such groups to bring much gain to the one individual. The capacity of vision in this entity and body is far beyond that of the normal forces about the body, and has great abilities in this line far beyond the ordinary one with the experience as gained in years. Hence the following and the ability to assist these small groups to finance themselves, to conduct the production of their own fields, will bring the financial forces to this body, [900]. The changes from time to time will be seen and felt. Hence only the general scope of such ability may be given at this particular time, especially when there is seen some conditions that to this body at present are not entirely satisfactory; yet, with the abilities exercised, will give that incentive necessary for this body to realize these proclivities in self and the ability to push forward in the line as has been, and is, outlined here. Do that.
6. (Q) Is he fitted for the business and position he now holds? How may he improve himself for same? (A) This we find is very good. In following the lines as
900-2 Page 3
outlined here he may better fit himself for that end, as has been given.
7. (Q) Give in detail his present financial condition in private and in relation to his membership in Wm. E. Lauer & Company, of 74 Broadway. (A) These, as given, are very good at the present time as a whole. In specific conditions of personal holdings, these are quite satisfactory. As to relations in the association with Wm. E. Lauer & Company, there have been some conditions recently, and at present, that are not entirely satisfactory, yet these will prove, by following the suggestions outlined, very good, and some wonderful developments will arise from this association. As to specific amounts in investments, these are questioned at times but at present satisfactory.
8. (Q) Is he pursuing the correct path of duty in the financial world, and how may he correct any distressing conditions? (A) Only as has been outlined should any corrections, as we find, be made at present. The present pursuit in financial world may be broadened under the suggestions of gaining the control of many smaller groups, as outlined.
9. (Q) Would it be best for this body to marry at the present time? Would he be happy, and whom should he marry? Tell us, if possible, where she lives. (A) This would be the most satisfactory arrangement for this body at the present time, and we would give in the last months of the present year the most satisfactory, else defer until the Spring months of coming year. The body already knows the individual in person, as we gain the impression, though there is more than one considered. There is the individual that stands foremost in thought when the body considers such conditions. The one that arises in the mental forces the stronger at the present moment, that one consider the most. We find this body at present not in the place of residence. As to the name, or individual, these had best not be considered from this viewpoint, or this condition, but the body lives in the South and West from here, New York we are speaking of.
10. (Q) Should this body make any connections with Edgar Cayce in the furtherance of the Institute Work? If so, in what capacity? (A) As has been given, this body is peculiarly and particularly adapted for the furtherance of such work, and may prove himself particularly fitted for such conditions. We find there should be some relations. As to the capacity, that must come from the spiritual development from within
900-2 Page 4
self, and the knowledge of same that may be made applicable in the individual, and that which may be applied to the lives of others, as such work would progress.
11. (Q) How should this body go about to encourage faith in Cayce's work? (A) As given, find that applicable in his, [900]'s, life. Find that which may be made so in the lives of others, ever remembering that the faith of the fathers gives and lends faith in the Maker when we can apply same in our daily lives. For, unless we can live by a faith we cannot implant same in the lives of others. So, then, to encourage this faith in the Cayce Institute, gain first the full knowledge of all those forces connected with same. Weigh then well in the balance of right, justice and of the duty that each individual owes to humanity.
12. (Q) Should this body come to Dayton, Ohio, to meet Edgar Cayce, or would it be to the best advantage of both for Edger Cayce to meet this body in New York? (A) Under the existing conditions, better that the body, [900], study such conditions from both viewpoints. First, see and know the conditions surrounding Edgar Cayce in the home, and the surrounding conditions. Then in the body's, [900]'s own surroundings. Best that both be considered; that is, see and know conditions in Dayton, and see and know conditions in New York. Keep them separate. Weigh them well, as has been given.
13. (Q) How can this body best benefit the work of the Cayce Institute? (A) By being the advisor to the work, from the standpoint as has been outlined; that is, in the viewing of abilities, capacities, of groups, and by the advice, as given, in the capacity of Trustee, Director, or Manager, from that viewpoint, and in the financial assistance that the body is capable of rendering such work.
14. (Q) Is there any particular danger in the physical or financial conditions that this body should be forewarned of? (A) No.
15. (Q) Mr. David E. Kahn, of New York, has talked a great deal regarding the associations of this body in certain endeavors. Is he, Kahn, strictly accurate and sincere, or does his enthusiasm tend to make him exaggerate? (A) The endeavors, as has been outlined, are worthy of consideration. The enthusiasm of David E. Kahn can be capitalized upon, and such an individual as [900] is capable of doing so, as has been outlined. The exaggerations are almost nil, yet should be taken under advisement and well
900-2 Page 5
considered.
16. (Q) What would be the best relations between this body and Kahn, between Cayce and the Cayce Institute and between David E. Kahn and Edgar Cayce and this body? (A) This, we find, would be of a far-reaching condition, though we find these associations good in many ways. There are many conditions that might arise that would prove to be exasperating in many respects. These had best be developed with the situation as arises, for there are many others to be considered in any association with any or all of these. In that association of [900] and Kahn, [900] may capitalize the enthusiasm, the sincerity, of Kahn. In relation with Kahn, Cayce, Cayce Institute and [900], many other conditions arise that would be, and must be, considered. Their results, and how they should be associated, only needs time and the elements of sincerity on the part of each concerned, without respect of the other elements that may enter in.
17. (Q) In what capacity may this body best serve his fellow man? (A) In that as has been outlined. A natural advisor, a natural statistician, a natural viewer of conditions, and in giving those can best serve his fellow-man. Also serve self.
18. (Q) What work is this body best fitted for, and is intended to perform in this world? (A) That as outlined.
19. (Q) Has Edgar Cayce anything to do with his thoughts of some charity to be interested in? (A) We find there are no coincidents, or chance coincidents. Each and every individual follows out that line of development of the entity in the present earth plane as it has received from the preceding conditions, and each grain of thought or condition is a consequence of other conditions created by self, and in this particular condition we find this is s condition wherein the body, [900], may choose that which will give development for self, for this body, [900], should remember this injunction, as was given: It is not that one should ascend into the heavens to bring the force to man, or that one should ascend into the elements, or go into the depths, to bring up the forces, for there has been set before you, this day, good and evil. Choose that which will bring the better development if self, and in lending to the Lord is the service that man renders to his Maker. For the silver and the gold are mine saith the Lord of hosts, and service to him who can serve his fellowman is the highest service to the Creator.
