This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 28th day of April, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - [900].

1. GC: You will have before you [900], of Apt. ..., ... Street, the enquiring mind of this body, and the dreams this body had on the dates I will give you. You will give the interpretations and lessons to be gained from each, in a manner understandable to the mind of [900].
2. EC: Yes, we have the enquiring mind of the body of [900]. This we have had here before, with many of the dreams and the co-relations of the conscious and subconscious minds of this body, with the lessons as were to be gained from such co-relation through Urim. In these we find many have been used to the betterment of the understanding of the individual. Some have been set at naught, which bring those elements of that unsecure feeling to the mental forces of the body. We are ready for these.
3. (Q) The first dream, of the three dreams, had on Saturday afternoon, April 25, 1925: "It seemed there were two ways of crossing a river, the upper bridge and the lower. As some others used lower one, so did I but this time was lying down and traveling right along the water's edge. It seemed dangerous to me, yet had been done so often before I had full confidence." (A) In this we find that correlation of the physical and the subconscious forces is given, and the lessons as gotten here: The river the way of life, the passage over the existence or span through or over which the material man passes in the passage through earth's plane. There are two ways, the higher and the lower way. That in the higher giving the great broad outlook over the whole of Universal Forces, that of the lower in ever the way of the great masses. "Choose thou as to whom thou will serve."
4. (Q) The next: "I was talking to Herbert Son about Stocks. He said he was bullish and was long the leather stocks and thought Endicot Johnson would go up in particular. I explained that I was bearish, in particular on Maxwell Motors B stock, but admitted that he might be right." a. Was this to guide me, as the steel vision, in my trading in Maxwell Motor Stock? b. Was it to warn me about my present trading, or what and how? c. Was Son or I right?

(A) Again those of the co-relation of mental and material conditions, acted upon by subconscious forces, entering only mental and material phases of conditions. Not a projection at all from subconscious forces, as has been demonstrated in the day since, for both correct and both in error. The way is shown, or lesson is given, "Enter in at that way and manner in which those of the mental forces may be correlated with the subconscious forces, would the entity, physically, materially, gain the knowledge necessary," for as seen, this does not partake of the same conditions as were seen in that regarding steel, for in this, this was presented in steel from subconscious forces. In this with Son and self in conversation from the mental and material.
5. (Q) Next: "It seemed a lady teacher in school said to [137], my brother: 'I haven't seen your hand up lately.'" (A) In this again we enter that of the subconscious forces with mental, and only a portion of that really seen, heard, experienced, was brought to the conscious forces of the body, [900], for in the rest we find as this: The hand indicating the knowledge as was obtained by the individual addressed, giving then the impression that the entity not gaining the knowledge and information as should, through the abilities that have been accorded the body, coming then perceptible through the mentality of the co-related forces of subconscious force and mental to the body [900]. Heed.
6. (Q) The next dreams were had on Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, April 21st or 22nd, 1925. (A) EC: (Interrupting) 22nd, 1925.
7. (Q) "It seemed I had to get somewhere by water but for some reason couldn't swim this time, although I told them I knew how. A girl, it seemed to be my cousin, Lenore Gunjendorfer, swam to our destination with me clinging to her, my arms about her. She swam well and I felt us push right through the water until we reached our destination." (A) There comes in this again the projection of rather the subconscious predominancy of the mental forces and mental attainment of the body [900]. In this then we find this lesson, which is as a premonition and warning, though of good. From across waters, or from across waters as others have come, will come the call again to go to give the truth as has been found in the mentality of the individual. The entity under circumstances will feel the call, yet from other conditions feel that not able to accord to the desires of others and will, therefore, be carried over by others, to whom and upon whom the entity should be giving strength, from same will be taking strength.
8. (Q) The next: "It seemed I was arranging something at

an Inn and was talking with the proprietor. He said: 'You want to give some parties, don't you?' Someone who was with me, didn't seem to altogether approve the arrangements I was making - particularly in regard to price or money spent. 'You bet I do', I replied to Inn proprietor. We seemed not to come to immediate terms. I seemed hesitant and he finally encouraged me and at the evidenced distress, rather than expressed distress, of this objecting person, who might have been my Father, the landlord declared he knew what he was doing as he was blank years old. My Father or someone replied: 'I'll be 62 years old,' which is about 3 years younger than my Dad actually would be. I finally made the arrangements." (A) In this again the projection of the subconscious forces with that of the mental attributes of same, for this represents then conditions as are and as will arise in the physical life of the entity and the objections will come from out, as shown here. In the lesson as would be gained, that the entity knows, understands, feels, the necessity of the ever pushing onward to the upbuilding of self, that others may gain knowledge necessary for a world development, for little by little, line by line, here a little, there a little, do we gain that necessary for the development in and through the ever giving forces necessary for the transition that must come to each body. Then, as this condition is presented to the entity, think well upon the conditions as were given here. Act in that manner in keeping and in accord with that gained from within.
9. (Q) The next: "I saw the world as a great irregular massed ball and I seemed an entity going out into space and returning to the massed ball to become a part of the latter, then breaking away again. This repeated several times." (A) This again the exemplification in the material world of the entrance of the superconscious forces into the higher realms of the subconscious, acted only in accord with the higher elements of the mental forces of entity. Hence the hazy, the inability of the entity to attain or gain the access as to what was just taking place, just what is meant by the condition as shown. The lesson then: Keep self in that way and manner that all of the questions as pertaining to earthly realm, earthly conditions, whether of the physical, mental or spiritual forces, may be accessible to the mental forces of the entity, [900].
10. (Q) The next dreams were had on Saturday night, April the 25, 1925, or Sunday morning, April the 26, 1925. The first: "We were in a room together, many of us enjoying

ourselves and planning and trying to accomplish something. I heard beautiful music and the rest seemed to vanish and there lying before me on a trunk, which was in the room, was my Grandmother, my mother's mother, who had died one day before my Father. Happily I kneeled beside her. I could only see her face and neck, and I put my arms about her neck. She seemed to be crying or not exactly crying but greatly distressed. She said: 'None of you want ME to live.' 'How can you say such a thing, Grandma?', I answered, and attempted to kiss her, but she grew more distressed. 'Your Mother doesn't want or care if I live,' she said. 'I put my arms about her closer and tried to explain that Mother certainly did, but just didn't understand.' The vision ended there." (A) The entrance of those spiritual forces into the earth's plane through this form in a manner that may be understood when used and read aright. As was given as to how the forces of each entity may be felt from time to time in the earth's plane, gradually receding from the position as held, then we find how this may be builded through the study of conditions as exercised here, without intent, without purpose of being in that position of bringing the destructive forces to those whom we would honor, yet we do bring just those conditions by not understanding, not hearing, the call. Then LISTEN, be STILL, that the STILL SMALL VOICE may answer from within, and we may hear the answering call, "ALL'S WELL."
11. (Q) The next: "Words spoken to me: 'There will be a rally in the market for three days.'" (A) Only a portion of that is given here. This again the answer of the cry of the mental to the forces from within, and the answer alone coming. Then we find this correct. Three days - three days.
12. That is all.
13. We have many others that have not been given here. These are given then that the entity may gain that knowledge and understanding of the universal forces that will work in accord with those of the physical, mental and spiritual nature, will one but heed and draw upon those forces in the manner in keeping with Him who gave, "I am the way, the truth and the light. That thou will ask in may name that will I give unto thee. If you love me, keep my commandments, for I go unto the Father and I dwell in Him and He in me."
