This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 3rd day of June, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - [900].

1. LS: You will have before you the enquiring mind of [900], and the dreams this body had on the early morning hours of June 1, 1925, in Room ... ... Hotel, ..., La. You will answer the questions regarding these as I ask them of you, giving the lessons that should be learned from these, in a manner understandable to the mind of [900].
2. The first dream: I dreamed I was wondering why I hadn't had visions lately and the voice said, "Pay close attention to this dream of veils." Then I was selecting veilings in a store, most black in color, and selected six from a number to cover the face. I said, "I don't understand that dream, but my Father in Heaven will explain it to me." The voice answered, "The veils are the conditions obstructing your better understanding, your advancement."
3. EC: Yes, we have the body, the mind here of [900], early morning hours of June 1, 1925, with the dreams and visions as had and experienced by this mind.
4. (Q) What in my life definitely are these obstructing conditions? (A) With the change as is exemplified in all of the rites of any study is the veil. In this we find is the thought, even in the subconscious, sought out those conditions as were preventing and attempting through the inmost mind to show that the consciousness may be brought to that condition wherein the body, the mind, may obtain through the vision that necessary for direction when sought. In the veil, as given, with the change in the life there comes many conditions wherein the entity must realize, must be laid aside or changed, or covered, and filled with those necessary to make the well-rounded life. As to which and the specific ones, these are to be sought out through this same channel, as is shown in the seeking of the six; yea seven, veils, and the entity, through the same means, may classify, verify, carry out, and bring the better results to self. Then, the entity must seek those from within and lay aside those that would hinder from giving and developing self toward the better condition.

5. (Q) How may I cast these particular ones aside? (A) By filling self and life with those other necessary conditions to take the place of same, and as each is pointed out, that necessary to take its place will be given.
6. (Q) Was the voice that from within as before, or a voice from within reflecting guidance of my father, the guide? (A) Voice from within responding with that that would guide the entity, when seeking, as is given in the dream as given itself.
7. (Q) The next dream: I was married to [136] and back in N.Y. and her Aunt Helen [...] was there. [136] seemed older and more serious. The situation seemed to reflect many things. Helen [...] said to me, "Keep it up, [900], keep up the good work!" [136] said seriously, "I'm only just married to him - give me a chance." I thought of Cayce and my studies and Cayce. (A) In this we find those conditions that are to arise and as is given, the thoughts and studies, as has been given, should be kept in that way and manner that brings the development necessary for entity, for self, for all. As is seen in the growing older, the necessity of preventing the serious side when related to individual, yet the keeping up as that necessary for truth to conquer, and give place to nothing save truth. As seen in thoughts of Cayce, those projections as of co-relation [correlation] of conditions that might bring such consternation, yet the thoughts come with the same as is seen farther in dream. That that will build, will build in one same as in another, when of Divine truth. "Seek and ye shall find. Knock and it shall be opened unto you."
8. (Q) The next dream: It seemed my Mother [106], [137] and many had dreamed of [136]. The voice said to me: "This is to show you how your father is trying to help [136] and all about you." (A) The co-relation [correlation] of the physical with the subconscious, giving merely that projection again as has been given aforetime, in that "He that would enter in must give of self, and others are ever ready to assist when will assist self."
9. (Q) Did that mean my father, spirit guide, or He I call Father above all - God? (A) Through the father to the God, yes.
10. (Q) How can I help in carrying out his guidance to help adjust [136] to all? (A) In that spirit and manner as has been set, seeking those things that are above, and all these things shall be added unto you.

11. (Q) What was it intended I should gain from this - what understanding? (A) Just as given. Seek first the Kingdom of Heaven, and all things shall be added unto you; even with those conditions that would bring mis-understanding, as has been given, do that which will bring that understanding to all. Just as was given in dream where the visit to the house where many were gathered, and some to riotousness, the same is given here. The Father ever ready, if one will only show self willing. Hence "Seek and ye shall find. Seek and ye shall find. Knock and it shall be opened unto you. In my Father's house are many mansions. Had it not been so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, where I am ye may be also. What ye shall ask in My Name, that will God give unto you."
12. (Q) The next dream: I was eating with [137]. Something came up and we quarreled. [137] grew angry and I said, "Alright, we will dissolve just as we did upstairs. We'll quit." [137] replied, "Alright, we'll dissolve!" I answered, "You then can have the whole thing to yourself - but I want my share of the money." [137] said, "You can't have it. You've all signed and waived claim." I finished, "You're mistaken about that. I've been told to see a lawyer about that and will do so." (A) This is again given of that in times back, and a reminder of those conditions as were given. "In union there is strength." In union the will of the Father is made one with man. In dissension there is strife. Seek that which brings the ever assistance to the body, mentally, physically, spiritually.
