This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 9th day of June, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

1. "Struck by lightening [lightning] under tree and prayer." (A) Again the manifestations of the subconscious in the emblematical manner, showing the necessity of the physical seeking the outdoor for the better development of physical, mental and spiritual. The lightening [lightning], as we find, exemplifying the higher forces, though destructive to many, to the entity it became the life giving flow. As to the prayer to the spiritual, the electrical to the physical.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of Room ..., ... Hotel, ..., West Va., and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and the lesson to be gained from each of these dreams, AS I READ SAME, and when you have finished you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the mind and the body here, with the enquiring mind as regarding dreams this body has had.
3. (Q) The first, "Friday morning, June 5, 1925, quarrel with Ma and [137] joining in about picture." (A) Again the warning of the necessity of the united strength of each for the betterment of each, and as has been given and shown in former ones, this concerning the mother as joining in same, picture representing the ability of each to become rational if will is but used.
4. (Q) "Saturday morning, June 6, again quarrel about something pertaining to radio or aerial of radio. Seemed to lose my temper." (A) This rather the co-relation [correlation] of mental forces acting upon the subconscious than dream or presentation of difficulties, for with the mind dwelling upon the approach of the time when there may come radicalism to such an extent regarding such conditions, this presents through physical rather than the subconscious forces this condition, and the attempt to study out what could bring such conditions about presents this. While such conditions may arise, the forewarning should be forearmed against such conditions. The conditions, as we find, will present

themselves rather on account of some minor detail neglected on the part of [900], as regards the books in the firm's office, and the notation of a transaction is regarding this class of commodities. This we see is projected at present as the condition over which such bested words might come. Being forewarned, be forearmed. When this shall arise, in the evening of the 16th - 13th to 16th - these days - be careful.
5. (Q) "Was in store and some trouble. Mark Eisner was going on long journey and I worried for some reason. He returned and he nodded his head. I still in store and troubled." (A) This, as we find, the projection of some business relation regarding some commodities regarding stores with these parties related to Eisner, and the fearfulness of the consummation in satisfactory manner, yet we find same will and would be satisfactory, yet leaving a dissatisfied condition regarding the final outcome of such relations. Then be warned that those whom should become associated through this connection, let everything be above board and cash in hand before contracts closed.
6. (Q) "Playing Golf." (A) The necessary recreation for the physical body. Again a co-relation [correlation] between subconscious forces and consciousness; that is, the mental forces (as we find this is not all of the dream), the conscious forces, seeking the proper understanding of the ability to care for physical forces to carry out the intended work of the physical and mental, show a way and manner in which this physical may be assisted to keep physically fit in the entire physical body, for such relations would be well, both in physical, mental and the co-relation [correlation] of each. Very good course at Deal. [Deal, N.J., where he and his family had planned to spend the summer]
7. (Q) "Words:" "Don't eat so much of highly seasoned food or sweets." (A) Again the same as we have just given regarding the physical conditions being cared for. Heed well, for we find, as has been given, the subconscious seeks through the mentality of the entity to care. Heed then the injunctions as are presented through such forces.
8. (Q) "Saturday night June 6th and Sunday morning June 7th."
9. (Q) "Bitter quarrel with [137]." (A) Again the projection rather of the mental than superconscious guidings. Rather that then of the mental than of the warning other than given.
10. (Q) "Arrived home from honeymoon with [136] and went

right to business. Some congratulated me left [136] in background. Went into office which was changed. It was long and narrow and had clothes hung on side. They told me not to worry, it was made in two offices had we were going into main one. The other was no better and I said to Miss Brett, the steno, 'I don't like this.' She agreed with me and wished the bosses could be convinced. Then I looked at my mail. Telegrams and letters of congratulations were there. I asked where desk [4450] was and they gave me a note, which I anticipated was to tell me he had gone over to get [137] book from floor. To my disappointment it was a note telling me of various transactions that took place. I wondered if he had sneaked out and asked, 'Is [137] not on the floor?' More disappointment. Then Mr. Maloney of Block, Maloney & Co. came in and he congratulated me. Then he told me how he disliked Mr. Strauss. I tried to agree with him and asked: 'Which Mr. Strauss? I worked for a Mr. Strauss once?' He appeared disgusted that I didn't know and I became disheartened. I took [136] home. [140] leaned out of the window to announce happily that they were leaving by some route for somewhere. 'Isn't [137] going on the floor, I asked?' 'No,' she replied. Then [4255] was sitting with me and sort of sneeringly discussing a trip of [4167], whether by Southern route or not, and we agreed not to take Southern owing to time of the year." (A) In this we find the emblematical conditions that present themselves upon the return to the labors. While we'll find this, there will some conditions regarding the accounts and of the notations as have been kept that will be unsatisfactory, rather watch self in gaining the grasps of the new associations under the new surroundings. These do not indicate of the troubles as given, rather that of a mental. These are projections then, failing or succeeding in gaining portions of projection from conscious to subconscious, and the mental attempting to connect same together. The lessons as would be gained: Watch self rather than others, then, in the new surroundings, for these will become well.
11. (Q) "I wandered over to Central Park and saw some teachers, stenos and others in a row boat on the lake. They were sort of laughing at me and I said to myself: 'Just as when I was a child - so seemingly dull, not at all bright seemingly, yet I seemed to get there - at times and in places ahead of many.' Then I was swimming in the lake very, very fast indeed and they seemed to admire me more." (A) This, as we see, something of the same as projected in the vision as seen in feet and hands in the former dream,

though we find in this the satisfaction of gaining the headway in the confidence of those whom the desire is to assist and aid. The water and the numbers find the assistance in the gaining of the knowledge. Then we have the two-fold meaning as is shown in this. The necessity of the entity gaining full possession of knowledge necessary before attempting to commit same unto others, for in the affluence of the assistance received is the vast headway gained in the water with the confidence and admiration of many.
12. (Q) "Monday morning, June 8, 1925. 1. Words spoken: 'You will drive to Deal by 42nd Street Ferry.' 'But' I answered, 'It has been set for us to go by 23rd Street Ferry - that is the way I have planned.' Then I saw a lot of traffic dust and dirt and something seemed to have bumped me or be the matter behind me, and I turned angrily around. Then we were in Deal and [136] seemed to be trying to put a large drawer in her trunk. 'O [Oh] no, young lady,' I said, 'You can't do that!'" (A) This, as we see, the warning to change plans as concerning the way and manner that they would go to Deal, for we will see with the coming of the time why the change. This the presentation of that force that will guide, guard and protect, would the entity but keep in that way in which the forces may be manifest to the physical through Urim or through the visions. Be warned then not to go that way.
13. (Q) "In the afternoon, Monday, June 8, 1925, as follows: [136] and I were viewing a beautiful mountain side and at same time we were in N.Y. She decided to see the other side of the mountain or someone over there, and leaving a package in my hand and a small book, ran down the block. I looked in the blank book and stock trades were listed and [136] note as follows: 'This is good-bye!' Panic stricken I rushed after her to an apartment house and there asked the elevator boy on what floor Mrs. [136] was. 'As you told me to say, boss, on the 13th,' he said. I nodded, half smiled and gazing sadly at the book, packages in my arms, I started up in elevator." (A) This an emblematical condition of the study that each would make of the development of the inner life as is opening for each in New York, and the emblematical forces as shown in that the entity must not give more than the body is able to digest, and not desire to go on ahead to see the other side. Let each see same together, and study from each, that the greater vision may open to each, ever seeking first the Kingdom as is within, for truly has it been said, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these things shall

be added unto you," meaning that he that puts position, money, desire of heart, the weaknesses of the flesh, the desires of the eye, may gain in portions same, yet with the seeking first and gaining the knowledge of the Kingdom of God that lies within, the earthly power, the earthly necessities, the earthly glories, the earthly positions, will all be added in their proper place and form.
14. (Q) Again and again the dream of a quarrel with my brother [137] comes to me in quick succession. It seems urgent. When are these conditions to come about that may cause the quarrel? (A) These we see have been given.
15. (Q) What will the conditions be? (A) Given. Concerning those of the nature as given. Through these this should be seen, known, recognized.
16. (Q) How well I know them in time to recognize them and thus use my visions to guide me in preventing the break with [137]? (A) As given, watch self first in the new relations and the conditions pertaining, especially, to those as have been outlined for the body, making known unto the body that known.
17. (Q) What in visions is given me that I may use to prevent such a tragedy? (A) Watching and care of self and self's action.
18. (Q) What should I do or say when time comes to prevent such a happening? (A) Don't let 'em happen!
