Time of Reading 12:00 Noon - Dayton Savings Time. Deal, N.J.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ... Road, Deal, N.J., and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lessons that are to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you.
2. EC: Yes, we have the enquiring mind of the body of [900], with dreams as this body has had. We have had the mind here before. The gradual development of the mind of this body, in its different phases of expansion, has much to do with the various visions as come to this mind when in touch with the subconscious and superconscious, or spiritual elements of the body and the Universal Forces of same.
3. As the various discussions of conditions pertaining to physical and material matters are weighed, with the spiritual and the development of subconscious contact, brings many conditions of emblematical nature to the mind and the various conditions are often presented to the body through such, as we see in many as have come to the individual, both in those that have escaped the physical memory of the body and those pertaining more to secular conditions that have been brought into the confines of a physical consciousness of an experience in subconscious forces. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) June 25, 1925, while riding on train from Deal to N.Y. "It seemed there were two people, or two persons, and the voice said, 'Place your confidence in him, but not in him.'" (A) Again that ever ready guidance, when one allows themselves to drift into, or by physical action so place themselves in that condition wherein the voice from within speaks to the individual through Urim. As in this, we see again that of the conditions as have been referred to with two separate, distinct, conditions and peoples, and in this, as it were, the intuitive forces magnifying to the point of where the entity, the body, [900], must make the choice as to the one to be believed, and co-relating [correlating] those conditions of that as has been made manifest in the
900-86 Page 2
life, mind, experience and forces of body, must make the choice for his own satisfaction.
5. (Q) Saturday Morning, June 27, at home in Deal. "We were looking for an apartment and entered a nice hallway and went upstairs. It met with my approval but my mother said, 'Don't spend so much money.' Then a little dog ran out, jumped upon my mother, clung to her garment by the teeth. She gathered the dog up in her arms and said to me, 'I tried to save you from heartbreak.' Then she walked out. It then came to me that we could get an apartment at 1 East 69th Street." After interpretation and lesson, please answer the following questions, as I ask them. (A) In this we find again co-relating [correlating] in the subconscious physical conditions as have to do with the physical life of many individuals that receive the subconscious or spiritual interpretation in the mind of the individual, coming then in an emblematical manner to the body of [900]. This, as we see then, representing, in the search, that condition as has been and is often discussed between the various members of those so much interested in every manner. The finding of an individual place, with the rushing out of the dog, representing the condition as might be, is felt, and in which intent might happen, under the conditions as would be with more than one in the same apartment. Hence the voice again of the mother coming, as the desire to prevent as much of the worry and troubles to the body, the mind, of [900]. Then, as we would see, follow in the way as has been given in many others, in the interpretation of conditions that have presented themselves from time to time in this same relation. Best that these be then in the manner as is desired by the mother, for the physical, mental and practical experience, and of the mental and spiritual forces of this entity be taken into consideration, as has often been given, for the good, for the happiness, for the best of all concerned, for there be many various conditions of secular, of physical, of material, of mental, of many conditions and minds entering into this. Well that each consider their duty, their condition, their association, their relation, their responsibility; yet the better would be near - but NEVER together.
6. (Q) Should or should not [136] and I, and my mother, live together next winter? Taking into consideration events and conditions just passed, those that are to or may come. (A) As given. Well to be close where counsel, as counsel, may be had, but not best together.
7. (Q) If we should live together, then in light of my
900-86 Page 3
mother's decision not to, how may [900] bring about this union? (A) Not best that they should. Heed mother's advice, as has been often given. As is in this manner: When advice is sought from mother, seek mother alone, and alone, in the same manner as the individual approaches for the divine guidance from within, seek that advice, and we will find never far afield from bringing joy, peace and happiness to that one to whom so much is due.
8. (Q) What is it that [900] is doing that his mother advises him against that will bring heartbreak to him? (A) Not so much as what he is doing so much. More of contemplation as is seen and felt in the mind and intuitive forces of mother in relation to physical conditions in home, in relation to investments as are to come. Seek that in the manner, in the way, as is given. All will be well. Learning first this lesson, as has been given to the individual, the entity, that all must be overcome in the present earth plane, would the entity enter into that great field of peace and happiness wholly from within. The ability to listen well to the counsel of others.
9. (Q) What is it he will do contrary to such advice that will come that will bring this condition? (A) Should not do anything. With forewarning, should be forearmed.
10. (Q) What should [900] not do to make his mother unhappy? (A) Not abuse the trust, the confidence, the desires of the mother towards self and self's relation to outside conditions, physical, mental, spiritual, moral, financial.
11. (Q) What should he do to make her happy? (A) Given.
12. (Q) The problem of living together is in the mind of [900], his mother and [136], for the happiness and best interests of all three, and each of them, which had they best do next winter, live all together in an apartment, or Mother live separately? Why? (A) As given, for as is seen in the presentation of the knowledge that a certain number at a certain place is where there might be the places to have the abode, giving then as this representing that each should know and be in touch, in accord, in place, one with another, rather than with another and all out of place.
13. (Q) What did 1 East 69th Street mean? (A) Just given.
14. (Q) Early Sunday Morning, June 28, at home in Deal. "It seems I was married to [4313] and we were in a gorgeous mansion. We were walking down a beautiful wide stairway and we came to a thin ugly dispositioned woman, who was the head
900-86 Page 4
of some group or association. We reached the bottom of the stairway and I saw a pile of papers with names on them, and I looked at them. 'My Gosh! said [4313]. 'You are looking at the names of the members of the clan.' I jumped back and the thin stern woman came in. She started to strike me but I looked at her calmly and earnestly and said, 'I did not see a single name written and I never lie. I tell the truth.' At that she softened and smiled and we shook hands. As I left, I seemed to recall a name and it flashed vividly before my mind, and I wondered at the familiarity. The name was T. L. Manson, and that name (T. L. Manson) remained with me. Then I awakened to the fact that I was married to [136], not [4313], and I wondered what to do, for it seemed nice to me to be married to [4313]. I took a walk and noticed the broken pavement, hideous, (hideous to me now awakened, or after awakening from dream) - thought came to me, such as the death of [136] freeing me, etc." (A) In this we find there entering many of the various phases and stages of the developments in the mind of [900], and the many phases presented in emblematical manner to the mind through the various channels of presentation in this dream. In the body as is seen in the vision or dream as to whom the body was wed, this we find presented to the body in many different forms before, and the various stages of both good and bad in physical, mental and spiritual way, have been presented. Again in this, with the arising of conditions through which the body desires to propagate certain forces or teachings and lessons, there is presented in this union the way and manner to present and prepare a way for such, as is seen in the names and list of groups of people, or association, for certain given conditions. Not seen in the body, yet known by the expression as given to one seemingly of uncomely manner, figure and face, as guardian of same, but truth and not falsehood follows in the gathering of such forces, yet when this has succeeded, certain names as are found present same to the consciousness of the mental, and these only signifying how that through this same channel that the expansion of force comes to be a fact. Then, the awakening to the realization of the union being pleasant, when the real duty, desire and person belongs to another, again that in the manner that the heart, soul, desire, intent and purpose must be kept with the one who may be assistance in every manner to the entity, else the twang of the desire to hide something comes and we enter that condition wherein the way of life leads to that way of error, without intent and purpose.
900-86 Page 5
Then, the lesson as would come in this manner: There are conditions existent in the mind of [900], wherein the desire to further some condition of a clannish associate would, through this entity - [4313] - this may be accomplished, with the assistance of those whom the beginning would contact. While this gives some conditions unsavory to the body, yet with the intent of the wife and self kept in one accord, all may be accomplished in a perfect manner.
15. We are through for the present.
