This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 8th day of July, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - [900].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ... Road, Deal, N.J., and the dreams this body had on the date which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lessons to be gained from each of these, in a detail manner, as I read same to you, answering the questions as I ask them regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, mind, here, with dreams this body has had from time to time. Many we have had before.
3. (Q) Tuesday Morning, July 7, 1925, at home in Deal. "My father appeared and had some cigars to sell. 'What is your price?' asked the buyer. 'Two hundred and fifty dollars,' said my father. 'I'll give you two hundred' from the buyer. 'Alright,' replied my father, willing to take a smaller profit, and proceeded to wrap up his cigars." (A) This, as we see, a co-relation [correlation] of mental forces being acted upon by the projection of super-conscious conditions as are brought about by the reaction between conscious and super-conscious forces in the individual, regarding specific conditions, as is shown here in the transaction as is given by the spiritual guide, being that of the conditions that may be expected in general concerning the conditions in which the entity is laboring at the present time. That is, regarding the conditions as a general condition, with some more, some less in depreciation on stock exchange forces, and the individual body, [900], to use self's own discretion as to which, through, by, those conditions as have been given the body heretofore. This may be expected to commence soon. Last for ten days - two weeks, with increase in the variableness of the different commodities and stocks and conditions. Only needing some excuse, as it were, for the beginning of the general trend.
4. (Q) Does it indicate that I should sell all or some particular stock at once? (A) As given, the sales are to be governed by the mental condition of the body, self, for as is seen in other presentations of the same kind of information, proceeding from same source, a specific condition. This rather that of

an onlooker of a commodity owned by the individual, bought to be sold for the profit therein. Hence the individual should, must, use own self's interest, and the conditions as presented from time to time, in the manner and way as has been outlined for individual to use same, under the condition where information of such nature is accorded the individual.
5. (Q) Does it indicate a downward move in the market, has or soon will set in? (A) Indicating downward move, as given. First those of specific or of certain ones. Then the general.
6. (Q) "A salesman had a trunk full of samples, and as he opened it, pairs of socks, folded up, rolled out. I gathered them together. The trunk was closed and put in a Ford automobile, and my mother and father got in. There was no room for me and I asked where I was to sit. 'You climb on top and ride there,' my father told me, and as I started to climb from the back of the car on to the top, the automobile started to move. I struggled half way up, when the top loosened and collapsed back. I clung to the back, struggling to climb over with all my might, and I could feel my leg strain as I attempted to pull it over. The machine was moving and I noticed my mother and father both observing me from their seats in the car, as I struggled to climb over." (A) Giving the indication of the conditions that are in the mental of the individual at the present time. The socks in opening representing those small stumbling blocks over which there might become discussions of a social, or rather a personal condition in family associations. The father and mother presenting and representing that aid as is ever presented to the individual, [900], through such sources, and as has been given, the struggle to maintain the position as was outlined by them shows the struggle as is being made in self to collaborate self and self's interest with those as are outlined and held by each. The collapsing, seemingly of that nature that would present the downfall without assistance, meaning the help, as it were, of self, for the self feeling the strain under which the labors were exerted, yet the pleased look from them, the consciousness of their consideration, showing and giving how the individual will accomplish and come to that position that will be satisfactory in every manner concerning same, for just as we have in this: The presentation at this time of the spirit guide, through the accumulation of the various phases the body, [900], has attempted to create in self, as to how each may be accorded the individual, bringing then in a different channel that presentation and the aid the spiritual forces,

through the father, representing in the earth plane, through impressions as are left by the individual, desire or seeking for same by the individual, [900], bringing same into that channel, into that source of communication, as it were, through dream forces, the individual presents that necessary, or that desired by the individual.
7. (Q) "[137] and I were discussing the interpretation of the above dream, and appearance of my father - (don't remember the rest of this part. You will recall it to me with explanation)." (A) Just as given. That discussion, the various ways and manners of how the entity of the spirit forces may present itself, how, why and in what manner, and why the necessity and how the necessity, and how the entity presents same and in the manner of presentation.
8. (Q) "I was in a classroom and preparing to go to some affair in the evening. When I came to putting on my full dress shirt, I found I could not wear it, because it was stained in a spot stained yellow. I didn't know what to do, and was disappointed. Then someone came and showed me what to do. 'Pour this powder on like this,' the person said, and did so for me. 'Keep pouring plenty of it on and wash it off with water,' he continued, acting as he spoke. Then he showed me the shirt all clean. 'But its all wet and soft now,' I said, 'I can't wear it.'" (A) A continuation of those same projections of those things, conditions, in self that would prevent the individual from obtaining or gaining the full knowledge and power as is accorded through those of the presentation in the dream force. The presenting of spot, when entity attempting or contemplating attending a function, this the manner of speech. First then, as would be given, for it has been presented to the entity, or in a different manner, as this: First understand self, self relation, self's relation to the Universe, and not attempt to give same to others, UNTIL they are reached through a channel wherein those from the outside acknowledge the abilities of the entity, and the acquisition of the success thus made (as be shown by others in the assistance lent, in the preparation for the body to be able to do as desired), then when this presents itself, first as this: The understanding as is acquired by the individual, [900], of the conditions relating to the development of mental forces, of the powers that exert themselves, through phenomena as is shown in spiritual forces, mental forces, these must be prepared, given to others when others have accepted them. Those who bring dissenting voices towards same will find, through the excess

of the abilities of the entity, they have been made naught.
9. (Q) (Continuing. This dream not read.) "I was walking along the street, noticed a girl with particular short dresses, and nice form. Despite her rather vulgar display, she seemed to have a strict sense of propriety. A taxicab came along and wanted to go one way and she shook her head, making him turn around to the way she pointed. 'We are going that way,' she said." (A) Just as is seen in this, wherein on the street is seen an individual who seems to present more of charms than necessary, yet with that directness of intent and purpose to direct the way in which they would go, rather than being directed by those who would carry then to their destination, shows the entity would direct self rather than proclaiming findings, rather than giving to those who find dissenions in that which the entity attempts. Prepare same in such manner as it may be given to those whom desire and are seeking. Then with the results - see the difference in the conditions as approach.
