This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 14th day of August, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ... Road, Deal, N.J., and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretations and lessons to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer any questions which I will ask you regarding any of these.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind and dreams this body has had. These, as we find, came in the various forms and manners and are presented for the body's understanding, will the body but accept the lessons as are given and profit thereby, for as we find, the body-mind becoming more sensitive, as it were, to the various planes of mental development and mental relation with subconscious and spiritual forces. The magnifying of conditions are presented to the body in the way partaking of various forms of physical presentations to present the lessons as may be gained from such co-relation [correlation] of the mental and spiritual forces of the entity. Ready for dream.
3. (Q) Early Wednesday Morning, August 12. "It seemed we were in an apartment of a house which faced a court. 'We ought have a room facing the Street,' I thought. Then it seemed my father was in a room facing the street and was talking business to someone in that room. That room seemed inaccessible to me. 'Well,' I thought, 'at least we get sunlight through our court window and that is nice.' Quite the contrary, however, the sun began to be hot and uncomfortable, whereas the other room, which has a street view, which I knew about, but could not get into, seemed shady, cool and comfortable." (A) This we find is the presentation to the body-mind of conditions as are presented in the development of the mind or manifestations of the body, [900], and these show how the relations, the mind takes more in this position of the relations of the forces as are presented in the position of being housed in, hedged about, yet that of the spiritual force felt to be the more pleasant, yet inaccessible for the reasons of being hedged about by conditions that might

prevent from receiving that lesson as might be gained from that force. This, then, rather as the warning to the entity, [900], not to so hedge self that the better things of life, here and hereafter, may become inaccessible to the body, for as, though sunshine may come into the life as knowledge and light, without the touch, without the accessibility of that wherein brings peace, joy, happiness, these are but as nought. Just the warning - just the warning.
4. (Q) "Saw two straw hats - one my panama hat, another a straight sailor straw hat." (A) This rather the presentations of another phase of mental telepathy that may become manifested through the entity by an application. Refers to none of the other elements as have entered upon, yet there will come the time this phase will be presented.
5. (Q) Wednesday Afternoon, August 12, on train. "Words or the voice said: 'I will tell P. D. Ouspensky.'" (A) This rather the attempt of the subconscious forces to co-relate [correlate] the studies and as have been made of Ouspensky, with the manifestations as are being used of the presentated phenomena as being exercised by the body, and are the subconscious forces weighing or giving inductive reasoning to the body.
6. (Q) Words "P D - 88." (A) Not full solution. Only a portion as was being presented to the body. Forget it.
7. (Q) Early Thursday Morning, August 13, at home in Deal. "I was in ..., Indiana, in my uncle's store. I noticed some of the changes recently made in the store and said, 'Oh, there isn't so great a change. The dress department is a little wider and this other department is enlarged, but the change isn't as great as I expected.'" (A) This as we have given, a presentation to the mind of the real conditions as are in the body of those whom the mind of [900] expands with. That is, those to whom the mind has given the explanation of self's reasoning have not made the great change as is at first apparent. This the lesson then: The careful persistence into the knowing of basis from which conditions may be viewed, that the changes, while not apparent to some, not apparent to self, find in many the lodging place that gives the greater capacity for work and development in channels far beyond even the thoughts of [900]. Hence, though the entity may not be able to see the outward appearances of the changes taking place, these take place, and often those who seemingly mean the less, the greater change comes in their lives and the usefulness of

the change is greater oftentimes there, see?
8. (Q) "I was in my office watching the stock ticker. It seemed Pan Pet B (that I am short for myself, the Association, the Ipsab Corporation, Edgar Cayce and others) may have again reached a price of 68. Not sure. Then I clearly saw the oil stocks come out of the tape and the prices declining. Saw Sinclair oil down to 17 3/4, Marland Standard of New Jersey, Caddo Central, all drop in price. Then I said to people about me in room, 'Some very bad news is coming out on oil stock. Be assured of it.'" (A) This, as we see, the attempting of the subconscious to give the consciousness the understanding of the relations that each element bears with another, and the developing mind may gather from such a lesson how the oneness of the Universal Forces are apparent in all things. As to the conditions, we find Pan Pet B gradually on the decline and will be lower yet. The greater change or advance coming, with others, in the sixty to ninety to hundred and twenty days yet, then an advance in all such stocks. This, then, as we see, means the high price as is seen in this particular stock, while prices on others are on the decline also, with many variations. The lesson: The oneness of Universal Forces and the sureness the entity must have of self to apply or use same in manner as has been given for the body, see?
9. (Q) Does this mean that Pan Pet B may again sell at 68 but no higher? (A) Be a long time yet before it sells at 68.
10. (Q) Then on bad oil news recede in price, with all the rest of the oil stocks to the price given in my dream of a few days ago. (A) These have been given and show the relations as come. The physical conditions as will be apparent to give the spiritual lesson to the body and the physical profits of same may be applied to self, see?
11. (Q) Is this dream any further indication of my proper or improper use of this Pan Pet B Stock information? (A) Rather the lesson as given, and no indication of improper usage, as has been given. Only as the central truths, as given from the rooms, see? Do not hedge self about, see?
12. (Q) "Was on some kind of journey with Maxwell Geffin, a friend and customer of mine. (EC interrupted. Rest not read.) We seemed to be somewhere in the West and had planned an automobile trip part of the way back home. We began to think of business and decided to cancel our planned auto

trip and rush right back. We did so and were next in Maxwell Geffin's home in New York City, where also was his wife. I watched her and noticed particularly certain of her actions or doings. Max and I laughed at her and he criticized her. Then I found myself against my will doing the same things in a different manner, and was embarrassed before Max Geffin's laughing criticism." (A) This, as we find, is again the assurance, or insurance, to the entity of how the lessons, even of the moral and social relations between self and customers in the business world, may be made more profitable, more secure with self, through application of truths and lessons as are gained through subconscious and soul interpretation of conditions that exist, and in dream are given as emblematical manners to the body for the entity's usage in developing self to be the well rounded individual, used in service.
