This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 23rd day of August, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

Time of Reading 6:00 P. M. Dayton Savings Time. Deal, N.J.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ... Road, Deal, N.J., and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lessons to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body and mind here, with those dreams and visions as come to the body as interpretation, or as an exemplification of the thoughts made deeds in the subconscious forces, with same giving the inductive reasoning to same, that the lessons may become a portion of the body, (spiritual) of the entity, [900], and are applicable then to the body in the study as is being made of the phenomenas of life in the material world. Ready for dreams.
3. (Q) Early Friday morning, August 21, 1925, on train from Norfolk to New York City. "It seemed my Grandmother and Hattie Marks (both deceased), were somewheres in the background. I was standing on the stairway of my Grandmother's house. It seemed I was observing that which made 3rd dimension life its motive or object and the object or motive of 4th dimension life." (A) In this we find those lessons of the studies of the body into the inductive forces as apply to third dimensional existence, fourth dimensional existence, and the motive or impelling force as is seen in each of a oneness with the developments of each by their (that life, see?) having fulfilled its purpose and intent, for as is seen, to fill that place for which it is purposed [is] the highest service in any object, whether from the physical or material, or mental or social, or whatever phase to which the divine forces [are] set, see? and as is seen from the intent of the two forces through which same seem to emanate, the vision of the inductive reasoning, see? and as viewed from the steps, or as of mounting the higher elevation, that the more or better perspective may be gained for the entity, gaining then the workableness, as it were, of the

wherefores, as it were, of existence. Good lessons. Follow same. Bring same to be the master of rather than mastered by, for as is seen, the third dimensional life of service as first and second, and in third that perspective of the whole which makes of the entity a portion of the whole, yet servant to all, for as is seen in this perspective view, God is God, Lord of ALL, yet serving all.
4. (Q) "Then my mother, wife and I, took an automobile ride, and I observed all the things that money could buy, and also observed the glory of the True Life. I saw trains and boats and also the entrance to what seemed a monastery. I said to my mother: 'What is the use of making money and those things the object of life, when they aren't even real?'" (A) This again, we see, viewing the same perspective vision from a different angle, gaining then, as it were, in this that perspective of the valuation of the real and unreal, for as has been given, and well summed in this: "Though a man gain the WHOLE WORLD and lose his own soul" of what use is it? and as is viewed, these, as precepts and principles, must become the workableness of the entity, for as is seen, with the closer associations of the mental forces to those of the truths as pertain to the phenomena of life, these insights in same are gained, making a clearer vision, a clearer understanding the full meaning, and in same we become free indeed. Not then that each in its sphere is to be belittled but that each is made to serve its intent and purpose, to magnify even as He would magnify.
5. (Q) Friday afternoon, August 21, on train from New York to Deal. "Saw girl with blond silken hair and I felt of the hair." (A) This, as we see, only a portion of the vision as presented to the entity. Rather that, however, of the purely physical forces again manifesting to the entity the divisions as may be seen in physical perception, giving its vision to the subconscious forces without giving that as lesson of a spiritual fact, see?
6. (Q) Friday afternoon, August 21, at home in Deal. "Saw a chorus of girls dancing on stage. One at a time the girls would come to the front and each do an individual dance." (A) This, as we see, a physical action giving, through correlating of conditions in the temperamental life of the entity, those lessons in spiritual thought. As each has learned their part, their lesson, and come to the public, as it were, for recognition of that attained in the attempt to bring a message, each give, as it were, their line in their place, making a whole lesson for the world to view. Then, each must apply same in their individual lives, meaning again service - service - service.

7. (Q) Saturday morning, August 22, at home in Deal. It seemed I traveled to a place by boat and there beheld the Master - Christ Jesus. I shouted to all about me as loud as I could: "We can be like He - I have proved it! We can be like He - I have proved it!" None would listen or believe me. I entered what seemed to be a grocery store and there beheld a man who appeared as Christ - it may or may not have been He, but He was dressed as Christ would have been, but younger. A woman said to me: "Isn't He a wonderful God?" "You can be like He," I answered her. "Oh," she replied, "you are not like He. You are a soft, mushy human." I turned to show her Christ, and it may have been His picture on a box, I showed her, but there He was, as I knew Him from pictures I had seen, an older Man, sympathetic, yet unyielding in His faith in the Truth, its adherence, and propagation to His fellow- man. I went up to the store counter and sat down and there behind the counter I saw the younger man, like Christ, kneeling down in prayer. He was thanking His Father for much. I leaned my head in my hands and cried bitterly. "It hurts in here," I said, pointing to my heart and it seemed this referred to my inability to make others understand and also that He suffered just that way. I said: "What is the use of the real, the true, if we are ridiculous to all here on Earth?" and I saw myself as ridiculously crying my message "We can be as He - I have proved it." Then I saw Him again, kneeling down in thankful prayer and crying I said: "It hurts to my very Soul." Then the voice - it may have been His voice - spoke and said: "They shall return again to Earth to learn. They shall kneel down and worship THEE as Me." (A) This, as we see, approaching that condition wherein the elements of the spiritual entity enter that almost of the Holy of Holies, gaining strength and wisdom from Him, who IS strength and wisdom, and as the vision brings the truth to the entity or body of [900] that whereas He suffered as He cried, "Oh, Jerusalem, Jerusalem! How oft would I have gathered thee together, even as a hen gathereth her brood under her wings, and ye would not!" Then as is seen, there enter the elements of the physical in that though we may have a truth, and same appears ridiculous, this, as we see, comes from physical or material reasoning, for as the answer comes, this entity must give a message, that those who would seek Him, the Master, may find Him. Oft in prayer, even as the Master, oft in communication then with Him will strength and endurance in body, soul and mind come to him who has viewed a message from Him.
