This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 2nd day of October, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - [900].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ..., New York City, and the dreams this body had on the date which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lessons to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body and the enquiring mind of same here. This in the dreams gives that then the mental-physical forces bring to the subconscious for its acceptance or condemnation, as is seen in the dreams that come to the entity. These may be used for the developments of the entity, would the entity gain knowledge and understanding of laws governing same. Ready for dream.
3. (Q) October 1, 1925, at ..., New York City. I was in a room separated from some activity outside. I worked my way somehow into that next room, where many men were crowded about counters. There was no room for me, so I tried looking over shoulders. Finally, Mr. P. J. Goodheart turned around and spoke to me, saying: "I sold all my stocks - have been and still am selling." "Did you sell Pan Pet B Stock?" I asked anxiously. He lifted a big book, such as a Specialist might use and on the sell side of the book I saw written, "Pan Pet B." (A) In this we find these conditions as given being carried in the physical until the projections of same come from the subconscious in this emblematical manner, giving and showing the changes that are to come in the dealings of this entity, or that by the change from one to another. This may be made more effective by the entity, for as is seen, the outside, or being outside, representing then information, or an understanding as is gained by the entity of some outside forces, see? The working the way into the room where the counters and tradings are seen in action, representing then the change that may come and would be a condition to act upon by the entity, for as is seen, the force of self impels the entrance to these forces, gaining then the entrance and knowledge of what is being carried on. The seeing of an

individual that represents to the entity a specific condition upon the Board of Trade, or Exchange (Goodheart), represents then a specific action to be taken by the entity in regards those same conditions and elements as being acted upon by this entity as seen, see? In the manner, then, that physically this body, Goodheart, represents to the body [900], in that way and manner act towards information received, see?
4. (Q) What does this indicate regarding Pan Pet Stock? (A) That there will be the changes in this from time to time, as has been given, see? This gives then the change that may be expected, see? Whenever there are points, then, made - one - two - three, change, see? Get out, see? Remain out for a day - two days - then again getting the activity of same, following up, following down, see?
5. (Q) What does this indicate regarding the other stocks I hold? (A) Most of them mean sell, see?
6. (Q) Should I sell Pan Pet now at this price of 63 or 64? (A) 64 to 65. When there is profit of small, sell, see? Better be safe than sorry.
7. (Q) Should I sell other stocks, according to this - Southern R. R. and Louisville and Nashville for instance? (A) All are on the break and on the down, see?
8. (Q) "Then, as he turned to walk away, I noticed a white spot on his coat lapel - like COTTON. Mr. Goodheart smiled at me as he regarded my noticing this white cotton like spot. He said: 'Yes, I sold that too - from 23 to 26.'" (A) This, as we see, the change from that in which the accustomed work of the entity, and as is seen in that as given, as the entity physically regards the abilities, the judgement of Goodheart, in that way and manner act, see? for we will find the break in this also - cotton, see? for with the general market we will find changing faster points than with others, because will be up, down - down - down - down - down, up - up, down - see?
9. (Q) Does this mean or indicate cotton is going down from present price levels? (A) Going down, going down - then up, down, up, down, see?
10. (Q) [900] has never traded in commodities, yet here is even added aid, given in this wonderful manner, in reality while much desired yet not sought, as was for example Pan Pet. Explain this and give advice as to how [900] should use this new information. (A) As has been given, for the good of the body, [900], from time to time there would be given those new revelations into the workings of the various phases of the conditions that are One, see? that the entity may better understand

the full workings of the Spirit of Truth that may be seen in the operations of the various commodities, stocks or bonds, or of this as seen, see, and this may be used in the way and manner as has been said that the entity may use such from time to time. Again, as is given in the visions that are seen in others, that the entity must follow in the way and manner that he becomes not abashed at the conditions that the entity finds self placed, see? for as is ever given, ever be ready to answer for the faith that lies within, see?
11. (Q) It seemed [136] was with a group and wanted me to join with Alice Cecil. I didn't seem to want to, so rode off in the automobile. I came to a brown stone house and stood in front of it. A man came along with grips - seemingly coming home from a trip. He turned to me and taking me for some youngster, handed me his satchels and told me to carry them in. Feeling it would be fun - or rather feeling what difference did it make anyway, I took his grips, acting in the capacity of porter or street urchin, glad to earn a tip. After bringing his grips up stairs and obeying orders, I started down stairs, smiling to myself as I thought: "I really didn't have to do that but what difference? He doesn't know who I am." Then I noticed [140] with a group of friends - some of whom I knew, but with whom, for some reason, I felt abashed - not wanted. [140] called me over and said to me: "[900], go get Alice Cecil, bring her back and join us." As much as I wanted to join them, I said: "Not me - [136] wanted me to get Alice Cecil too - not me - I'll just travel along." "Alright," said [140]. I felt as though somehow the left overs were good enough for me - I was wanted only on some condition, whereas the others were wanted for their own selves. I went out and got into the car, when one of the boys in the party called to me from the porch. "You are wanted on the phone," he called gruffly. I got out of the car, went into the house and up the stairs to the telephone, feeling that at least maybe a stock business call might make an impression. They weren't much interested. (A) In this we find the emblematical conditions of the entity in its plane of development, and its position of its body-mind with its own development at the present time. Not satisfied with its position, either socially, mentally or financially, and as the call is seen from first from that close in the home, the inability to satisfy self as to the position it should occupy, the running away, coming again then as SERVICE and finding pleasure therein, even when same comes to be that as of a menial or a servant's position. In leaving same and again drawing near to groups that represent

other positions in the social life, again being called on to act in that capacity, finds again dissatisfaction in same. Then, when called as if to work in that of stocks, wherein fame or fortune might be made, again found the others not interested. Then, the lesson as comes to the entity is seen, then, in the summing of all, that in SERVICE alone may the entity find that which answers to that spirit from within that ever gives the answer of "My Spirit beareth witness with Thy Spirit." In all then, let the service be in that way and manner that satisfaction of mind, body and spirit may be in that service to Him, who is as Lord and Master of the Brown Stone [brown stone house], or of Heaven, as is seen, see?
12. (Q) The phone call was from Irwin Berliner, who wanted to know about the Stock Market. He came over and joined another fellow and myself. It seemed the market was going down. "Where is the nearest stock broker's office who is a member N.Y. Stock Exchange?" he asked. "Down that street there," pointed my friend, "They are all members." The three of us rushed out and jumped on a trolley car. I noticed the trolley went continuously down hill and that seemed an indication to one of the market's downward trend. The trolley turned a corner. "That is the trouble with these trolleys," said my friend, "They take the longest way to get anywheres." At this Irwin Berliner jumped off and ran down the street - the more direct way to the broker's office. My friend and I remained on the trolley car and I wondered about Pan Pet Stock. I looked out of the car window and saw the next street or avenue to ours in the same downward slope, but the side street leading from our street on which we were traveling, to that next street, was a SHORT and sharp steep hill UP to that street. (A) This, as we see, a continuation of that as is seen in service. This again turns to that of service to others in the manner in which has been given to the entity that same may be used with those concerning stock exchange operations. The interpretation is as seen. The larger buyers on the down grade. The smaller being ones that make the sharp turn, as in trolley, and the larger making (larger dealers) short, quick turns; that is, going the nearer way, see? The hill, upward, shows the different turns, as that especially to Pan Pet, as has been given. The general trend of all market being down, as has been given, see? Follow, the, in that way.
13. (Q) Does this mean that although the market is to break downwards, Pan Pet will have short, snappy and sudden rallies upward?

(A) As given. Short, sudden, rallying upward, climbing almost to that as has been seen - 70 - 73, see? 63 - 64 - 65 - breaking 66, see? 64 - 65 - 67, see? breaking again, finally going up about second to third break, see?
14. (Q) What does this down grade market indicate for my other holdings, like Business Machine for example? (A) Downward grade on all, as given, with some few making sharp turns, see? such as seen in Pan Pet, in Southern, in Houston, in Havana. Many of these we will find making sharp, quick turns.
