This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 30th day of March, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

1. GC: You will have before you [900], [136] and [137], all of N.Y. City, and the dreams these bodies had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the entities here (that is, the mind forces of each in their dreams). Ready for dreams.
3. (Q) Thursday Night, March 25, dream of [900], while reading the Bible. Voice: "My fault." (A) In this we find that the entity gains that impressions, through the study of truth, a self condemnation, and, as is seen through that which follows, there is the warning that the entity though, physically, may find self at fault, condemnation in self does not right matters, physically, nor does it bring that mental attitude in which the entity may gain the greater principles and truths as may be presented to entity from time to time, for such an attitude, the entity finds, creates fear and trembling. While the injunction to all is to approach these great truths in fear and trembling, NOT in the sense of fear of error in self, but in fear and trembling of self's condemnation, in the light of the great truths as are seen in the knowledge of the infinite forces, that may be exercised through the physical beings, when in attune with the oneness of purpose, in their creative forces. See?
4. (Q) My fault in handling of customers but the bringing of this crisis in Hudson Motors is "My Fault," in my joint responsibility for any and all physical detrimental conditions? Correct? (A) In the manner as has been EXPLAINED, correct. In the manner of the physical action being brought, will be seen this would be an INCORRECT literal interpretation, for, as has been given, the spirit of inanimate things are the result of the action of individuals. Hence the conditions as are termed the spirit of the ones that would destroy, or

would gain control of individual issues of stocks. As is seen in this particular condition, these conditions of necessity, by the entity, must be separated, to be better understood; for the entity's ([900]'s) attitude towards individual and customers are a thing apart from the individual's attitude towards stocks, for the attitude towards individuals is that, especially, of a development in assistance in every way, while that towards the spirit of stocks and its valuation is to take advantage of same, in the sense that better service may be rendered. Hence the attitude often of fear and trembling, especially when the entity allows self to be condoned into placing both in the same attitude. See?
5. (Q) A dark room and a light inside of what seemed a box, such as [137]'s moving picture machine. I wanted to build such a light inside, and [137] and I planned the material as I thought of getting the paste board. I noted the boxed light revolved upon a tripod, throwing its beams all about. (A) This is, as we see, an emblematical condition of the attitude of the entity, in the physical and mental manner, as viewing conditions physical in which the entity finds self at the present time. While the entity seems hedged about by a box, or finds self in spiritual, mental and physical aspect of being hedged about, or hedged in; yet there is seen that the light shines from within, and that through the rays, that may be gained by the entity's guiding and directing same aright, through such crises, may bring joy, comfort, peace and satisfaction in every channel, the same as the light as is projecting the visions to individuals through the picture machine, see? Then, the entity should take this in the manner that this may bring strength, as is felt from deep within, that this all MUST COME aright, and WILL BRING a satisfaction and understanding, though seemingly hard, hard to be understood; yet judge not the infinite work of God through the finite mind, for in Him there is Truth, and though this may seem little worth while, under the stress of conditions, in the broad rays of His love, peace and happiness will come from same.
6. (Q) Instructions very distinctly from the voice: "Find within yourself the trouble - not in upbraiding yourself or self condemnation, but in" - then my hand struck the Bible on the table beside the bed as I rolled over in bed, and the Bible falling to the floor awakened me. (A) This, as we see, has been given to the entity, as to how this is to be studied, for, as is seen that the entity may better understand the conditions as are prevailing in

the present conditions, or physical crises as are felt from the physical mind, the separations of conditions must be made, that the entity understand and comprehend, for, as is seen, often has that from within moved, as even in physical manner, that the DIVINE PRESENCE might be known by the entity to be ever PRESENT with same.
7. (Q) Would the Bible have fallen under any conditions, or did the subconscious directly achieve this action of my arm as I turned in bed, in order to correlate the Bible or physical concept with this subconscious reasoning? (A) As is seen, a physical action through subconscious SEEKING that which the subconscious KNOWS is the place through which the conscious concept of truth, light and strength may be obtained.
8. (Q) Did the subconscious act purposely to accomplish this under the impulse of a motive hidden to the physical? (A) Purposely, to accomplish this, that the physical might know the inturpitude (?) [in = an inseparable prefix meaning not, non-, un-, turpitude = Inherent baseness; depravity.] of the mental forces of the entity seeking, for "Seek and ye shall find."
9. (Q) Once before in answer to the physical cry the subconscious so manifested itself in my unconscious, making of a perfect Cross of Christ as I twisted wires in my fingers. In either this or the above case, were my subconscious faculties aware of their physical achievement and the purpose desired? (A) Aware, and SOUGHT OUT that the truth, in the way and manner as given, might be achieved, or that concept gained from within, that the entity might know that the Redeemer liveth and abideth forever in Him who would seek His Face.
10. (Q) Friday Night, March 26, or Saturday Morning, March 27, 1926. We were all at a party that seemed to be in Deal. A swimming pool was in the rear. Some people who were friendly with me took me out of the house to the edge of the pool and then jumping in played a trick on me by pulling me in with them. I became frightened, due to my bad ears. I recalled that in spite of my clothes and all, I had only to put my hands up and I would rise to the surface. I did and came up fast, but I still worried about my ear, but I reasoned that the sudden and quick dip couldn't have done so much harm. Once or twice more I went down and up, worrying of the rush to my ear, and altho it seemed I ought have been injured, I seemed to come out alright. (A) This, as we see, an emblematic form of presenting to the entity the conditions again in which the entity finds self, in mentally and physically, from the financial status

of conditions in the present time, as having been led, pushed, by those who would gain through entity's experience; yet, in the conditions following, there is presented, as the entity sees, that condition of fear, that condition of wherein not only the life itself (physically, you see, speaking again) of the entity, but of the physical conditions, which refers then again to the mental attitude of the entity, and the rising and falling is as but those conditions, those attitudes, those positions, through which the entity finds self, in the crises and changes as have come to the entity through the last few weeks, and, as is seen, only the trust in the fact, knowing that to put up the hand, to hold UP on Him, will only bring that TO the entity that will give the moral persuasion of self to act in the way and manner that will bring the right conditions in every manner.
11. (Q) [137]'s dream. Night of March 24, or morning of March 25, 1926. My mother was in a faint - unconscious. She and I were in the same house. I was very frightened and tried to get a doctor. Finally some doctor's assistant came, and as he and I went into Ma's room, I found she opened her eyes and took my hand, but was very sick. (A) This, as we see, presents to this entity those emblematical conditions of that through which this entity is passing, and, as the conditions seem to go against the entity, in the interpretation of existent conditions and that as is to happen to the entity in the various circumstances arising, these are presented as a way, to whom the entity seeks as assistance. Now, there has often been given to this entity that by seeking from within there may be gained that necessary to bring to the entity the better understanding of how those conditions as are received from within may be applied in the physical life. Then, as there is sought the physician for the sick, who would give succor to the entity in normal conditions, then the entity should seek, through those forces from within self, that there may come the understanding as to that way in which the entity may act in the physical, that will bring light, peace, out of chaos and trouble. See?
12. (Q) Will my mother take sick? (A) As we see, this does not refer to a physical condition in another entity; rather the emblematical condition of how the entity may seek from within and gain moral persuasion in self to set in the way and manner as to bring better conditions for self and those associated with same.
13. (Q) Saw Joe Florsheimer and he said he had moved to a house in the country near to ours. I was surprised, as I

had heard he lived in another section of the country. When I first saw him I did not recognize him. I was on a shoe stand and he on the ground. (A) This, as we see, the conditions presented to the entity in a different manner, the same as have been seen in that just presented, in that how an entity as known to this individual is given out as BEING in certain conditions or places, the same as there has been the impression and information that certain conditions were to arise in which the entity might use or include in self's action; yet, as is seen in this, there comes when the entity must gain the greater knowledge and strength from within self. This do.
14. (Q) I saw [5768] on his return to the floor of the stock exchange from California. As I turned to greet him, he was gone. (A) Again the same condition presented in a different manner. As this entity turns to greet a condition apparently arising, it is gone! Then gain the knowledge of the position, of the condition existent in self.
15. (Q) Saw Mr. Anderson of the firm of Block, Maloney & Co., who is now in Europe. (A) Aid, succor and help, then, may come through this same channel, in stress, and in the way and manner that the entity may take with self into that silence that information as obtained from members of that association, or company, that necessary for the better understanding in the interpretations as are gained from same.
16. (Q) Sunday Night, March 28, or Monday Morning, March 29, 1926. I was selling Stewart Warner short, around 76, which went up to 88 and a fraction, but I stayed to it anyway - short, and finally bought the stock back at a profit. (A) Now, we find this in a different way and channel, yet, as the entity sees in this, there may come to the entity, through these same channels, that which may be used in a way and manner that will be helpful and beneficial to the entity in gaining the understanding of conditions as are existent. Now, as to the individual stock, this, as we see, has reached a low ebb, and the general conditions on the market, as is seen, to-day will be quieter; not so much rabble, yet a tendency to still break off in points; yet, in this individual stock, there will be one to two points lost, with a gain that will become very effective in the next two or three days, for the rebound in MANY of these industrials are to be very quick and effective, and we will find that this will advance, see? (Stewart Warner speaking of) to a ten to eleven point rise, then breaking off AGAIN, see; for, as the entity sees, this may be bought at a profit, see?

Now, in the general conditions as exist with the various commodities in which these entities are associated and interested at the present, we find these, as WE see, to exist: With the easing up of the selling in to-day's last hours will begin an advance, and this will increase until the first, see? Then we may expect some break down again, see?
17. (Q) What does that mean, in the light of that which has already been given, that the stock would go to 85? (A) 95 has been given as what it would go to. This, as we see, in the light of this, that the advance will come, as has been given, to that of the 88 and near to 90 - 95, yet breaking down again in the next deflation period, as we see will be, see?
18. (Q) It is now selling at about 73. Will it advance or go lower, and to what price? When should we sell our present stock? (A) When the advance, in the Wednesday or Thursday, or Friday's market, see, for we will find some advances in all of these.
19. (Q) [136]'s dreams. Thursday Night, March 25, or Friday Morning, March 26, 1926. A lot of oil or gas causing smoke, as if there was a fire or much being destroyed. (A) This, as we see, is as applicable to this entity in the way and manner many of the visions and dreams have been given for this entity, and is of a twofold nature, as is seen from this, in its application, for in self there are those detrimental conditions that are as consuming as gas and oil to the fires of the physical, so to the fires of the material body. These, as we see, need their attention. In the second way and manner, we see as applicable to the conditions as existent in the GENERAL condition, see, of the physical body, in association with others. These should be studied, the lessons should be maintained in their application, as the body has been given these already, see?
20. (Q) [900] was in grave danger of some kind and I saved or rescued him. (A) This, as we see, again presenting to the entity that of the necessity of the unity of strength in each, through any condition, whether of a physical, mental or financial nature, each SHOULD be in that attitude to meet the needs of the other, that succor, strength and aid may be given in the life of each to the assistance of the other; for, as has been given, "Let that that God hath joined together be put not asunder," and as ONE shall the labors be before Him, in physical, in mental, in spiritual attitudes, and in every

way and manner, and as the strength may ebb in one, may the other lend that aid and assistance to equalize that Oneness before Him, for WHO KNOWS, as has been given, that the strength of one may not save the other?
