Time of Reading 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of Apt. ..., ... St., New York City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. This we have had before. Ready for dream.

3. (Q) Thursday Night, April 15, or Friday Morning, April 16, 1926. "Someone was paralyzed, by virtue of a stroke of apoplexy. It seemed to be [137], yet, as I lifted the body to carry it to another place, it changed to a girl or woman - some friend of my mother's. I carried the body about, noticing how stiff the paralyzed side was - also that the head drooped peculiarly over my arm. I tried to readjust this as I engaged in conversation." (A) In this there is presented to the entity, through subconscious forces, and in an emblematical manner, that which the entity may do to self and the force through which information could, would, come and in the paralysis of same bring that consternation to self that would be, were it the brother or the friend of the mother. In the way of giving the assistance through conversation, and in the attempt to carry the body about, seeking assistance through conversation, showing the change, rather, that should be presented in or through same. Study this well. [See subsequent reading 900-227, Par. 5-A 4/25/26.]

4. (Q) "I was walking down a road and beheld officers or policemen in the distance. I was no officer - but an humble road civilian, tramping along. I found a gilded sword lying beside the road and turned to pick it up. Then I turned to another roadway with my sword. At the junction of the two roads some commotion seemed to be taking place and many people rushed to the place. The firemen came up to me and said, 'We'll turn the hose on them - that will scatter them.' 'Yes,' I said, 'It will,' and I watched the

procedure. Then the lieutenant came up, to whom the sword belonged, and demanded it from me, and I obediently gave it to him. 'You have no right to this, or to take this authority upon yourself,' he said. I felt rebuked - my pride hurt. Remaining humble enough, I tried to be good natured and pass it off half jokingly, half sarcastically, and said: 'If I were you I'd say to me: Young man, by what authority do you carry this sword or assume its vested authority?' He looked at me and said, shaking his head: 'Just the same, you had no right to this. Don't do it again.'" (A) In this there is presented the same condition, showing as how the emblematical conditions as are presented, the spirit as the two-edged sword that may cut either way, and the roads presenting the way in which this may be used. The one divested of the power showing, or rebuking rather the finder as to purpose, manner or way in which use is made of that in hand, as is seen in the groups gathered and the manner in which these are attempted to be scattered, by that manner in which the use of sword is put.

5. (Q) Exactly what condition in my daily life does the sword and lieutenant represent? (A) That spirit force as is, or may be, manifested through that gained by the entity.

6. (Q) What did I do or think or what conditions did I cause that I should not have? (A) The application often of that used.

7. (Q) Saw the two women who appealed to [137] and I for advice regarding their losses in stock market. Felt sorry for them. Voice: "Leave them work out of it alone." (Night of Friday, April 16.) (A) This rather that indication, through the forces of the body mind, as regarding conditions as exist in self, and referring then to those conditions wherein the entity gives out that which may be used as the criterion for action in others, and, as is seen in the injunction: Each and everyone must make the application of conditions to their individual lives, see? and one may not attempt to force, yet ever reason one with another, see?

8. (Q) "My mother [106], wife [136] and I were waiting at what seemed the Ft. Wayne, Indiana, R.R. Station where the Wabash R.R. & Pennsylvania meet, for the train to come through with my father on it. First a combination passenger and freight came in on the far track. 'No,' I told [136] and [106], 'He isn't on that,' and we waited for it to move out. While waiting for the next steam train an electric train came in on the near track, such as run locally from N.Y., Manhattan Transfer & Newark - i.e. the Hudson &

900-224 Page 3

Manhattan R.R. [136] and Ma [106] rushed into this train and I called to them, saying 'No, not that one, he isn't on that train.' Too late - they were on the train and it pulled out. Then along came a big passenger train hauled by two great engines and much hustle and bustle in detraining and entraining. The conductor announced a train that touched many points, although at this present point all one train. (Could be two significances - philosophical and stock market both). This train I boarded and asked the conductor for my father. It seemed then a sudden change took place from this far away from N.Y. City point to a position close to ..., N.Y. - i.e. the Newark, N.J. - a station just before reaching Manhattan Transfer where the change from steam propulsion to electrical engines are made and where steam trains make connections with the local electrical trains - i.e. the Pennsylvania with the Hudson and Manhattan R.R. In answer to my inquiry for my father, the conductor replied that he was in the rear car - the last one all the way back. Prior to this I had sought my father on the train by means of direction contained on my Pullman ticket buy I found it seemed to guide me into a closed baggage car. Upon studying my ticket and this situation I found the writing on the ticket afforded no definite instruction - rather was general and not specific. Finally the conductor showed me a notation in a column on the ticket that did indicate the car number of that one occupied by my father. So, the conductor pointed it out to me and told me I'd find him in the rear car, all the way back. 'But,' I replied, 'We are right near Manhattan Transfer where we change for the electric local and there I must round up [136] & [106] and bring them to join my father.' I figured it out that the conductor didn't know [136] and [106] but he did my father and that I could not possibly reach my father by the time we reached Manhattan Transfer where I had to get out and get [136] & [106]. I couldn't be both places - do both at the same time, so I decided that the conductor should go back and tell my father of our coming and I would get off at Manhattan Transfer and getting [136] & [106] we'd all join him in that car." (A) In this there are presented many various conditions that are to be studied by this entity, for in visions as have preceded this there is given a glimpse to the entity of how the interpretation and application of that visioned in this may apply to the individual entity itself, as to its trading, as to its - WHAT it's trading in, as to HOW the trading is, or may be, or has been, conducted, and a manner and way in which this may be better understood. As is seen,

900-224 Page 4

it represents rails, and also those of local or those of the B R T and Third Street, Sixth Street, and other lines in which the entity has been interested, and, as is seen, there are individuals (not as of specific name, but are represented as of specific individuals) that would lead off, or lead away from this; yet, there is seen the seeking of the counsel of the father in coming on steam, or on rail, see? and these as appear come from a distance, meaning those that do not, in its terminals, end in the city; yet, as is seen, is changed, and they rush to this. The entity is led astray, or attempted to be, yet because others are led away the entity remains and sees the train come in, in which there IS the one the entity seeks, or the true knowledge; even though with the ticket, even with the instructions, there comes the inability of entity to decipher just what is meant, but when shown by the conductor same is seen, yet the entity finds, to be in the position to meet the needs of others, and to gain the position where the perfect understanding will be gained, this is not compatible with existent conditions. Hence, the delegation to others to seek out, that the one combination may be made.

Then, in the application of this, as may be seen, not loath to make a change in the trading from rails to that of interurban, or of stocks as pertain to LOCAL conditions, but rather be in that position of being warned, that not WHOLLY should this be done. Rather seek that still advice from the [5769] father, in RAILS, that the WHOLE may be better understood and APPLIED CORRECTLY in this trading, see? A very specific, a very definite condition, in the light of that as has been attained by the entity into that bigness of purpose, pureness of heart, clearness of vision, as is entertained and as is GAINED by the entity. In the personal application of same this may be made applicable now to PERSONAL trading, PERSONAL conditions, PERSONAL connections, and in the RETURNS from same a personal application to many others.

9. We are through for the present.
