Time of Reading 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Deal, N.J.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ..., Deal, N.J., and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, the enquiring mind of this body. This we have had here before. The dreams, as we see, come as those combinations of the various consciousnesses of the entity, magnifying or manifesting through the physical forces of the entity, for the development, the betterment, the warnings for the entity of the various conditions as are seen manifested or experienced by one of the consciousnesses of the entity, each weighing one with the other and giving that experience which is as the lesson to the entity. Ready for dreams.
3. (Q) Tuesday Night, June 29, or Wednesday Morning, June 30, 1926. My mother called me up suddenly and surprised me by telling me that she had gone to Atlantic City and when I questioned suspiciously she answered evasively. Then I put the question bluntly. "Are you married?" "Will be tonight," she replied. "That is when the wedding is to take place." I felt bad about that and replied to her, "I hope you are taking the right step." Then something inspired me to be more generous, kinder, and I wished her well, hoping for her happiness. Then I awakened and thought over the dream, and going to sleep again dreamed as follows: I was away on business for Alexander New somewheres, seemingly Cleveland, Ohio, or Pittsburgh, Pa. My mother had just called me up regarding her marriage in Atlantic City. I stood at what appeared as many railroad tracks and noticed how little traffic ran by. It was quiet - very still - no trains. Thus I stood, motionless, contemplating introspecively and objectively the inactivity. Finally I decided that I should like to go home this very night. The train I found (on this R.R.) left at 5:10 P.M. I would have

to hurry and pack, but I wanted to see if a better train on another R.R. did not run to N.Y. City. I walked quickly up a cobble stoned street and noticed red colored cars crossing overhead and Chesapeake & Ohio R.R. written thereon. I entered a R.R. station and enquired of a lady ticket seller for the best train. "All the same," she replied. "They all leave about 5:10 in the evening and get into N.Y. in the morning." "But some are better than others, aren't they?" I queried. "You get into a pullman in the evening and in the morning get out. Nothing to see - all the same," she said. "Well, there is the New York Central R.R. - its good, but takes me up town N.Y. - too far away from my business. Is that Chesapeake and Ohio train good?" "All good - all the same," she repeated. Yet I felt I enjoyed traveling on some trains better than others, so I raced back down the cobbled stone hill to the first station. As I ran I thought of many things. The New York Central train came from Anderson, Ind. - i.e. the Big Four R.R. and thence into New York. The Chesapeake & Ohio had to make other connections, east into N.Y. and west into other cities. I finally got back to the original R.R. station and dashing in asked "Is this the N.Y. Central R.R.?" It seemed a dingy little room. "No," a man replied. "It is the Pere Marquette R.R." "O," I replied and asked, "What time does the train leave for N.Y.?" "5:10" came the answer. Then I noticed trunks being handled and more preparation being made for the N.Y. evening train. It then seemed I was living at Jacobs house in Pittsburgh again and I wondered if I had time to pack and make that train. It was now late, 4:00 o'clock, leaving me little over an hour. Also I wasn't sure in my own mind if I wanted to make this night's train. To take it would bring me home on a Sunday and as it seemed [136] was to stay behind, I would be left lonesome and with nothing to do all day Sunday. Maybe I could wait until morning - take a day train, if there was one. Yet I wanted to go this evening, but didn't know. My mother was now married and thus I couldn't depend on her, and I thought how many lonesome Sundays she must have spent and looked forward to, and was happy I had changed to become more encouraging and kinder, more generous in my attitude towards her marriage. Then I awakened and was glad to see [136]. (A) In this there are presented, as we see, many various phases of those conditions that have been eminent in the mind of the entity as regarding changed relations as might take place, as regarding the mother, the self, and the various conditions as would enter therein. There is also intermingled with same, as is seen, those studies, those conditions as regarding the conditions on stock exchange, or
900-247 Page 3
through the various changes as are to take place as regarding the rail stocks, for, as is seen, the attempt to return to the city, all being the same, all leaving the same time, all the same character of routes, yet, as seen, some special stocks, or some special names, some high, some low or mean; this represents the variation as is to take place before the general decline. As is seen of 5:10 - 5 - 10 - 15 - 6 points change in the general rails, as are seen. C & O advancing, then declining, the full 6 points. As is also seen in New York Central and Pere Marquette - all showing the decline. This same again changed or intermingled with those conditions as shown as respecting the relations with another, and the attitude the entity, personally, should take as regarding ALL conditions, whether market, whether filial relations, or the social relations, or the family relations, each showing that the attitude of self making that position in which the entity gains the greater consolation, and the greater conditions for advancement, satisfaction, in self. See? This, then, as the lesson of the general status of the mental relations of the self to the various conditions through which the entity is passing at the present time in the mental consciousness of the various changing conditions as respecting all relations in the entity's physical experience at the present time, with that conditions as to how the entity is to make, as it were, the best of existent conditions. This then as the experience for the entity for the study and for the application of same, through those lessons the entity would give to others, for in the application of those things as in self is seen how each may be applied to the other fellow.
4. (Q) Two distinct phases seem here to be taken up. 1. Rail investments or speculations. 2. Domestic conditions. As regarding the first, two centers of R.R. combinations seem indicated. 1. Chesapeake & Ohio with Pere Marquette and some other road. 2. N.Y. Central and its subsidiaries with others. Is anything further indicated in time as to being too late, etc? (A) Only that as is given, as is the indication that two phases, as has been explained - that which represents the variation in the prices in the stocks of these various railroads, also those conditions as are seen as toward domestic relations, and these all are experiences for the entity for the study of same, and the application in the life of self, also as to how these may apply in the lives of others, and, as one may be applied in the life for those of the advancement of the conditions as respecting financial, the same may be as seen in the application of same as
900-247 Page 4
regarding the domestic relations and their relation as regarding a mental condition between self and others.
5. (Q) Is anything indicated as regards the stocks and stock prices of these rails? (A) As given.
6. (Q) Pere Marquette has been very active, although quiet lately (at time of this writing). Is it indicated that this stock and C & O, merging, will become, both of them, very active and go much higher in price? Any time indicated? (A) That condition as has been given, with the 6 points decline, with the C & O as the criterion of the condition, with its advance and then the decline.
7. (Q) As regards domestic problem - is it indicated that a happier condition would exist for all if my mother took her opportunity and married? (A) This has been given before, and as is seen here is as an experience for the entity for the study of those conditions which may exist.
8. (Q) That I should foster and encourage this procedure, rather than be a stumbling block towards its consummation? (A) Rather that the entity should act in that position as is seen in this, as indicated, for, as has been given, this is as the various consciousness of the entity taking into consideration those conditions as have been studied by the entity through the mental and through the body conscious and subconscious forces. These all correlated together and shown to the entity as that of the best position for the entity in this relation, as in all others, as respecting any and every lesson, or any and every condition in life. Never be the stumbling block in anyone's advancement!
9. (Q) When will it take place? (A) This has not been decided as yet.
10. (Q) How may I better act in this matter, from the standpoint of generosity, kindness, and for the best interest of all? (A) This is as has been presented, and as IS presented to the entity in the position, and, as is seen, that as is felt in the inmost being of the entity at the stand the entity takes as regarding same, both in the waking consciousness and as that as is experienced in the subconscious forces, at arriving at a certain conclusion in the various studies of the condition.
11. That is all the questions.
12. We are through with this reading.
