1. GC: You will have before you the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you; and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. This we have had before. The dreams, the visions, as come to the entity are as of that way and manner as has been given, and may be used or applied in the daily life of the entity in the ways and manners as have been outlined. Ready for dream.
3. (Q) Thursday Morning, Aug. 26, 1926. A large dinner table at which many of us were seated, including the Merzbacks, etc. We had steak to eat. A second affair and the same table and a similar bill of fare. I complained because I claimed previous arrangements called for the dinner tables being taken elsewhere. (A) In this way and manner, and through these emblematical conditions, there is seen that various phases of the body-physical are being presented to the entity, for, as there has been given, the entity may, through self, gain the knowledge of those conditions as are necessary to care for the body, physically, mentally, and financially, and in these there are seen those as relating to the health of the body, in the meats and the associations with same - showing, as is seen, individuals that for the entity to not partake of certain foods would appear peculiar to others, yet the entity, knowing that as is necessary for the better development, must take them then in that way and manner as is best fitted, best suited, for the better development, mentally and physically. The same as is seen in that presentation of wines, drinks, and being told by others that the three as are seen on the table present water in three different strengths, as cathartics, and the entity choosing the middle, or that of the medium nature, showing then that
900-264 Page 2
everything should be done in that way and manner, of never an extremist in any sense, for, for the best development, there comes that we individuals should ever be in that way in the manner as we were not extremists in either sense, in meat or in drink, in the conversation or in exercise, for the intent and purpose as is set forth calls for moderation in every way and manner. Then, in applying these to the body, there are seen as these: The entity sees and gains from this that as is necessary for the best physical conditions of the body, in meat and in drink, and in the moderation in same in every sense for the best physical condition of the body. Then apply same in the life.
4. (Q) I was on a vacation from the retail business and noticed that another man bought some blouses cheap from a peddler. I didn't like the selection left so I didn't buy at first. Then the buyer found the sizes too large and returned his purchase, and then I bought what seemed cheaper grade merchandise. Mr. Moser, the boss, objected to my purchases, claiming I could do better by waiting and selecting better and more salable material. "I only bought cheap stuff," I replied, "That always has a stable demand." [137] was there and did some buying also, but some controversy seemed in progress. Then someone, seemingly Arthur Lipper, said to me: "I don't see how you can both tend to business and to studies at the same time." "Do you not both tend to business and teach?" I asked in reply. (A) In this there is again seen this presentation to the entity - not only of the physical conditions as relating to moderation, but also in that of study and in play, that in business and that in the mental application of conditions, that as is related to individuals and as related to specific groups - all in moderation, without excess in any, would the better conditions for the entity be obtained, for, as is seen, even in the buying, in the selling, in the action of the individuals for whom the entity operates, and in the association of individuals as connected with same, all point to these same conditions as are to be applied in the life of the entity. Not with condemnation to any, but with that aid in, "I would be all things to all men, that I might thereby save the more." The same may be applied in the individual's life, in study, in meat and in drink, being all things unto self, all things unto all men, and through the applications of these moderations in all brings the greater strength in physical, in mental, and in the application of same, for he

that would make haste is the loser.
5. (Q) Saw Ward Coffee. Voice: "He will introduce you to Gimbels and others who give big business." It seemed Daniel Gugenheim gave us 10,000 shares of American Smelters to sell at the market. (A) This again, we find, in that condition in which the same lessons and tenets as are seen in the first portion are carried out, even to that of the market, and of the daily life, for in the meeting of individuals, even as are seen through experiences, that that in position of the mediocre or moderately set individual brings about that which is of the larger proportions, for, as is seen, when actions in mental, in physical, in spiritual, in financial, are carried FORWARD in moderation, that as once was high is only the moderate operation or action, or health or state of being, mentally, physically, morally, or financially, to the PRESENT state, or the GROWTH as seen, see? Just as is seen in these: In the meeting of individuals, as are given, these bring about the association of other individuals, in the moderate way and manner. These lead on, then, to where larger conditions are necessary, even for moderation, and are the NATURAL growth and outcome, in the way and the manner as is set forth by all, as has been seen and given. Follow, then, in that way.
6. (Q) In Philadelphia Ward Coffee may do this for me? (A) "May do this for me," yet this is asked from the material rather than from that of the spiritual, which is the real growth, though the growth becomes material in the correct way of building.
7. (Q) How should I act in this matter or approach this condition? (A) Just with that same condition and manner as has been given. Do not jump at conclusions. Rather let it be the outgrowth of those actions, as in the systematic and correct way and manner.
8. (Q) [137], while shaving, cut off a slice of neck flesh or of a gland. It didn't hurt any. Then I seemed able to cut out a form of the whole body and there remained some sort of activity in another kind of a casing. "You see now how the body just acts as a kind of an overcoat," I said to [137]. (A) This is as the conclusion, as it were, of these visions or conditions, as are presented from the physical, from the mental, from the material, to that of the CROWNING, as it were, of the experience of the entity through these various conditions; for, as is seen, various portions of that as has been called or termed a portion of an individual may be cut
900-264 Page 4
out, or may be taken from by this same development, for, as is seen, as habit, or any condition builded in the body as habit or appetite of a physical, so may that of the spiritual, or of the elemental (as is seen in gland) be builded into its activity, so that the body, physical, mental and spiritual, becomes the cloak, or the dwelling place, or the house, for truly it has been given, the body is the temple of the living God. Then use same. Act in that way and manner as if same WERE the temple of Him whom thou worshipeth, and of Him who is able to give unto the utmost, and who is able to assist in guiding, guarding, directing, the way, [if one will] will one make self in that full at-oneness with Him.
9. (Q) Is this a theosophical indication of the astral body assumed by the spiritual entity when the physical is cast off? (A) Rather that full development, as has been given from the first - from the meat to that of the gland representing a portion of the individual body, as is seen, which may become the full dwelling place of that astral, and the physical, and the whole - all combined in one.
10. (Q) How may I reconcile this with the fourth dimensional concept of differences externalized from one another from the three dimensional viewpoint? (A) This is, as seen, a growth, and as is seen in recognizing, or becoming conscious of a condition in ANY way and manner, is a growth to that consciousness of same. This may be illustrated by each and every phase of that as is experienced through these visions as seen, from the portion of the meat and the table, the drink and its action on the body, the various forms of introduction, and all leading to the various developments - the action of the gland and its taking on its whole body and representing itself as a cloak, or an overcoat, for the whole element, shows how the growth, and the consciousness of the growth, through the moderation of conditions, keeping all in an at-oneness and an attunement to the full complete conditions, develops both to the fourth dimension from the three dimensional views as are seen through material forces, and as may NOT be cognized by the purely material, for, as is seen, there has been a diversion when such takes place, as is seen in the way and manner as is illustrated again by the very same conditions and experiences as are passed through. In the meat, there is seen there arises the thought, not in that place as it should be the mental or the action of material taking place. In the drinks, there is seen again the question as of which is the better, and the action of same on the material body. In the next there is seen as of individuals, and what would
900-264 Page 5
such association lead to. In the next there is seen where the gland is cut, or separated, it forms itself into a body, which takes on, as it were, the whole element of the pattern of the individual. Then, applying all of these to the physical to guard and care for the physical body; to the mental as may care for the physical, that the mental may act the better through to the material, that that as is necessary for the sustenance, position, station, and every condition as of life, may be sustained through same; of the spiritual, as is seen, in that it is the full at-oneness of the whole condition, and the entity then, [900], gains the full concept of the lessons as have been gathered from time to time, of the various forms of presenting the fourth dimension to itself, and easier of understanding by others - for it is as a growth.
11. (Q) Voice (of God?) "You are my boy! You will not pass without -" Here I was awakened and wanted the sentence finished so I returned to sleep and again the Voice: "You are my boy. You will not pass without -" Again awakened and sentence unfinished - yet I think it means that the tragedy of many souls will not befall me - i.e. I will not die before my message is delivered and that I will live to see the day when that message spoken through the Voice and written of my pen will be sought by many. When the world of Thought will welcome me into its midst. Not me - but He through me will cause me to be so identified. Correct? (A) Correct, for, as is seen, this comes, then, as the CROWNING of that same experience as has been given aforetime, and when all these are followed out in their full and complete way and manner, we see how that the body, the entity the mental, the spiritual, of the entity, is given that full complete way and manner of the sustaining of the body-physical, of the mental, of the spiritual, in this mundane sphere, for first in moderation, first in temperance, first in every way and manner that BUILDS to that in which the entity may gain that full knowledge, comes the truth, the way, the light, for the message will be given, and FOLLOWING in that way, the strength in the entity, in the mind, in the soul, is assured.
12. We are through for the present.
