1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ... St., N.Y. City, and the dream this body had on the date which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from this, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. This we have had here before. Ready for dream.
3. (Q) Wednesday Morning, Nov. 17, 1926. I was talking to Edgar Cayce and said: "Now that we know that heaven is a cosmic cognizance or consciousness of that which matter is to that viewpoint - i.e. the essence or vital force of life, let us see what hell is like." Then I beheld a man tied diagonally to a stake. The man may have been myself. It seemed in times back and some great king was ordering me (the man) to be burnt at the stake. I (or the man) was stripped naked and the fire lighted. I suffered horribly in the flames and then breaking loose I dropped on my knees to the king, a sudden idea of escape having entered my mind. Reaching up from my kneeled position to the standing king, I said: "You will die soon of heart disease!" He didn't believe me. I then played upon his fear or superstition. "I tell you," I ejaculated, "I am a man facing the grave and as a dying man prophesy your death. You will die soon of heart disease!" The king looked around wonderingly and frightened. At the same time I jumped up, and naked as I was rushed out making my escape. I seemed out upon a desert or plains and saw two or three figures coming towards me in peculiar costumes that reminded me of the "Katzenjammer Kids" - tricksters in the funny page. Afraid that they sought some insincerity or trick, I struck one of them. (A) In this there is presented, as it were, the first of the series of comparisons in the study of the entity through which many minds, or most minds, gain the concept of that which may be termed good or bad, and in same the entity sees the various phases of the absence of that all-life-giving

essence as is necessary for an entity to be wholly conscious of that state that is at an at-oneness with the Creative Energy and, as is seen by the entity, that as is highest magnified is fear and selfish conditions - these being that which first separates the entity from the presence or at-oneness with that divine Creative Energy, or from God, and the various phases or experiences of the entity in these are the various modifications of that same consciousness as is seen in the actions of each individual in the scene enacted through the experience of the body conscious mind, correlated with experiences of the mental mind, correlating experience of the subconscious entity, viewed and seen from the whole of the entity in the subconscious form or condition, and as these various experiences are correlated with the truths set in the entity's, [900]'s study as respecting what is meant as an at-oneness with the Universal Forces, these SAME experiences, as is seen, is that through which the consciousness of an entity becomes aware of, through the oneness of the entity's ability to correlate same. Then becoming, as it were, an experience away from the at-oneness and classified, named, called, by that understanding as is called "hell."
