This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of December, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ... St., N.Y. City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. This we have had here before. Ready for dream.
3. (Q) Night of Nov. 24, 1926, while praying. Voice: "Goodbye [900]." Once before this happened when the Voice said, "[900] Get Up" and again it happened before when the Voice said: "That is unnecessary." I was praising the Lord and again before it happened when upon drawing out the prayer too long I heard: "That is sufficient." What does this "Goodbye" and all these mean? (A) That rather in the application through the physical may the entity gain the full concept of the Universal Presence, for having gained the consciousness of the truth that prayer is an attunement of the body mind of the entity with the Will of the Father, the "Good-bye", the "Sufficient", the "Get Up" means APPLY that as has been gained - seeking ever to find IN the application, for we find, as the Master gives, not him who made long supplication stood justified before God, but that attitude as caused the publican to cry out, "God be merciful to me, a sinner."
4. (Q) While reading Herodotus, the Voice: "This is useless and is doing no good." Meaning needless to waste time and energy reading this - or that I was too tired, or both? (A) Both.
5. (Q) Texas Gulf Stock will go to 60 and 4. (A) This the indication to the entity of the advance in this particular stock, for, as has been seen in material experience, this is one of those stocks that has advanced when many others showed irregular conditions. Advancing, then, 60 and 4 points, or 6 and 4 - 10 points advance at the time, see? That is, a 10 point advance, with a breaking

down. Again a 10 point advance before breaking down again, see? Hence 60 and 4 - 6 and 4, see?
6. (Q) Morning of Nov. 25. I saw Fleischman (Stock) and seemed to get a confirmation that it will go up 40 points before down 20, but I also saw nets as are used to catch fish in this connection. (A) As is seen, there will be the rise before the fall, as nets indicate the various channels of the advancement, through many changing scenes of this advance, see? that is, the rise - fall - the changes being in the position of following the various irregularities that will ensue until the great advance that begins the first weeks in January, see?
7. (Q) [136] was in bed - the baby not yet born. [2350], Herbert [...] and [136]'s sister were up from ... I was worried because of [136]'s pains and turning to [2350] said: "She may hold it - I hope she does, but she is having trouble doing it." At this [136] seemed to wince - to feel hurt and [2350] didn't seem to like the remark. The Voice then: "Be more careful of your language, more circumspect in your choice of words." I tried to indicate that I meant no harm, but again the reply: "Be more careful in your choice of language." (A) More and more does the entity find that the various experiences as may come to an entity giving the entity the consciousness of conditions in the material plane through the vision and the voice, for the entity finds not only the reprimand in the gentler manner, yet in study, in the consecration and concentration of the mental mind, finds glorification to the inmost being of the self, or an answering of the growth of the inner self toward that higher consciousness. As in this, finding that the word idly spoken, the word said in the manner not meaning offense, not meaning to be giving expression to doubt, answers such, and does create those elements that bring distress to others. Hence the continued condition as: Be more circumspect in choice of launguage or of words, for, as is seen, words are the expression of the inmost thoughts, and "Thoughts are deeds, and may become miracles or crimes."
8. (Q) Herbert [...] and I went up a brown stone front house. He was telling me of some engagement that was broken, the girl we were calling on being the one formerly engaged. "Why was it broken?" I asked. "Not enough money, I guess," Herbert replied. "No doubt," I agreed. "Did she have any?" "Not so much," Herbert replied. "I believe she had the income on $2,000,000.00" "If she had that," I answered as I rang the door bell, "She had plenty. That is a lot of

money." A dark girl answered the door and we entered. We continued talking of the girl in question when suddenly the person herself made her appearance, having been in a corner of the room all the time. She greeted us and showed us an animal that she had in a cage. Then I joined a group of men and we got together and sang Harvard songs. They left me and I returned to the animal in the cage. I reached in and took the animal out. It was like a snail or caterpillar snail combination. It turned and bit my thumb, but was more of a sucking process than a bite, but it hurt. I put the animal down on the table to show others. Some looked, some laughed - most paid no attention. Then I put the animal back in the cage as it continued to bite my thumb in its own peculiar sucking or leach like manner. It hurt but I stood it. The animal then crawled into the corner of the cage, backed into its rectangular shell and disappeared from sight. In spite of my being glad to have caged the animal, I called to it trying to coax it out again, but it was in for good. My thumb hurt me as I awakened. (A) This rather that of the entity's finding through the message from [Herbert] of those engagements of the entity that have been neglected or broken, and that the change as is wrought through same brings those same misunderstandings to the entity and to those connected or associated with same, as entity experiences in this vision. Then, again would the voice answer, be more circumspect in manner, in deed, in thought, and in association one with another.
