This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of April, 1927, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ... St., N.Y. City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read them to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. This we have had before. Ready for dreams.
3. (Q) Thursday Night, April 28, 1927. Fleischman 53 5/8 - 53 - 53 - 53 - 53 1/8. Then the Voice: "Understand this." Then repeated the same thing all over. (A) This, as is seen, represents and presents to the entity those correlations again in the numbers concerning this particular stock, Fleischman - for, as is seen, the 53 5/8 - 53 - 53 again representing 8 shows as the 53 5/8 the decline as is indicated by the number, and the proportionate number, and after having been repeated again and again, until it reaches that point again 5 - that is, 53 quoted 5 times to the entity, representing then the change as is to be seen again which comes to the 53 1/4, a quarter meaning then again the rise, for it is the division, then, as seen in the quarter, which is given in either the double weaknesses or the double strength - indicating in this the double strength, see? Showing, then, that there is being gained by the entity the better, the more accurate, interpretation of numbers and their equivocal valuation as respecting individual stocks as the entity studies same. Then use this rather, as has been indicated to the entity, for the understanding and the study of same, rather than applying same as one to be dealt in.
4. (Q) Baldwin 160 1/4 - 168 1/4. (A) Again this same indication as is seen to the entity in the valuation of numbers - 1 - 6 - 0 - 1/4th - coming with the 7 1/4, giving then that of (as is seen in the next quotation) the advancement to that 1 - 6 - 8 - representing again 6 - 8 - 1 - 6 - falling off from this, as is seen,

see? and again we find numbers as being presented to the entity that the entity may gain the more perfect understanding of that as is being given to the entity, for the entity is seeking to study same as one that would use and apply aright. Then seek understanding - for, as has been given, "In all thy getting, get understanding."
5. (Q) Havana Electric. The Voice: "He has gone out of the business." (A) Again the indication to the entity of that to be correlated in the body conscious mind of the entity as respecting information as has been given respecting this individual stock. Showing to the entity that, that power, as it were, behind this particular stock, in seeking to overcome or to be in the market as pertaining to same, has withdrawn from this support, and the entity then may see how all three of these informations as are given may be applied, and study same rather than using same, see?
6. (Q) Morning of April 27, 1927. My father in some way indicating something regarding a cigar I was smoking. (A) Again that correlation of conditions as have existed between the father and the entity, and there is seen in the indication that these correlations of minds may be so brought about as to represent those conditions that may bring joy, satisfaction, contentment, even as there is seen in the smoking of cigar - for, as was seen and is remembered by the entity, there was conversation as regarding the good or bad cigar as might be used, see?
7. (Q) Morning of April 28, 1927. I transacted business with two men seated at desks - one a stout one, the other lean. The former did the talking and as we concluded our business, I said: "You may need Cayce and his work." "Well, if we do, we'll write him and send him a check," they remarked scathingly. "You have everything you want," they continued. "Well," I replied, for I didn't want to complain or ask for too much, "I do so want to build that hospital in Virginia Beach." They looked at each other. "Well," said the stout man, "Get a mortgage and have it transferred up here." I didn't understand him. (A) In this there is seen in this emblematical way and manner that presented to the entity which has troubled, as it were, and is troubling, the entity as regarding those endeavors in which the entity hopes to engage itself and to interest others in. As is seen, there is the lean side and the fat side, and the lean side is as the conversationalist, or the one presenting the pessimistic side of those conditions as the entity hopes to and does engage self in - and, as is seen, these are in the way and manner of

presenting to the entity that there should be no trouble, for the entity has that which it needs; yet there is felt within self that there is something lacking, but how to present that condition to these that they may know the needs of that as is contem plated bewilders, as it were, the entity, as does their reply. Then, as there is seen in the lessons in same, and in not understanding that as is to be gained from same by the entity: That in activity does the necessary conditions arise for the propagation of any work, whether of that as to which the entity desires or to which there may be applied many others. Then, as is seen and is represented by that as is given by these of the entity, procure a mortgage on same and transfer same here, that in the starting of same the necessary funds may be gained, by making it known through the ADVERTISING, as it were (in the PROPER way and manner), which would be to have the general populace know that such a thing is desired as the institution and hospital for the propagation of the study of such phenomena - and, as will be seen, there will be many - whom the entity has not even dreamed or thought concerning - that will be interested in same. Do that, then.
8. (Q) How may I do this? (A) As has been outlined.
9. (Q) My uncles [90], [91], and [...] disclaimed all belief in psychic work or of my work with Cayce. [137] and I with Uncle [90] awaited something and received it in a package that contained the deadly poisonous scorpion. We were warned not to touch it or I warned the others not to. We attached a piping arrangement to the poisonous animal and drained a fluid therefrom. This fluid altho deemed poisonous was to be used to cure the disease my Uncle [90] had. It seemed the fluid extracted from the scorpion had great value and as the first drop came into the container [137] rejoiced, claiming it to be the first drop of oil and proving the experiment successful. The letter carrier delivered the package containing the scorpion. (A) Again in this emblematical way and manner there is presented that which represents the many up's and down's, or the various knocks as would be thrown on the entity by the engaging in such forces, as is seen to be manifest in the establishing of those conditions as are contemplated in the mind of the entity; yet, as is seen from same, through that channel which many consider so poisonous, and who warn many to desist from having anything to do with anything of the nature or kind, there comes that life giving fluid that may bring succor, aid, and peace to many - or, as has been given of old, "That stone that was rejected of the builders has

become the cornerstone." Then, take unto self that due consideration of the lessons as have been presented to the self through these emblematical conditions as respecting the operations and as the conducting of the institution, and being warned, be guided then, that good may come to many through those sources, as is PROVING so beneficial to many.
10. That is all the questions on this reading.
11. Now, there has been presented to the entity again regarding those conditions respecting the feeding of the infant, and there is seen by the entity those necessary changes as should come about, that the better provisions may be made for the health, the strength, and the well being of the body. Then follow those, see?
