Time of Reading 6:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ... St., New York City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read them to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: YES, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. This we have had here before.
3. The dreams, the visions - as we see - come to the entity through those channels as have been given, and may be applied in the life. As the entity gains the full concept of same, the greater will be the vision and the development of the entity.
4. Ready for dream.
5. (Q) Morning of Aug. 18. [257] and myself in discussion about [257]'s reading. "What do you think of it?" he asked me. "Well, it seems to bawl you out," I said. "It doesn't exempt you," he replied. "No, it doesn't," I laughed. Then he laughed and after some good natured raillery on both sides the matter was dropped. (A) Here we see those concepts of the vision that the entity has had in the body conscious mind correlated with conditions that would exist, were each of one mind. The lesson being rather, that while neither are exempt, the great trouble that both do not heed the greater lesson given.
6. (Q) Something about my driving over country roads with two figures in a carriage. I was afraid but got over alright. Then [257] did likewise. Something happened to the figures as he drew the horses up sharp and [257] ran away. "I had some job there," I said laughing. "Oh," said [257], "What a time I had," and laughingly he told me of it. (A) Again - as the entity sees this - as the message, or as the lesson, that while one may gain and apply lessons by and through the figures that are given, the other may run away

from same, and shall feel (or apparently feel) they have had as hard time as the other - these are as literal, see? Interpretation and lesson then being, as is seen by the entity, and gained - and should be gained, through the study of those conditions as have been presented for the entity - that same lesson as was given Peter of old: Be not called, as it were, the one that was ever flying off the handle, but rather as the rock - from which the greater discernment and understanding of all truths are given, from the spiritual understanding of those conditions as are presented from time to time. And be not mocked by those of the material minded nature, that must see there is something for the coffers that the one would present self for service in, but rather as Him who made Himself of no estate, that the greater number - that the world - might know there was the rock in Israel; for, as was said of old: Though he were rejected by the builders, yet He became the cornerstone.
Be thou, then, in that same contrite mind, being humble, and being servant of all become master of all; for he that would become as subject to the law is as of one that is cast away, but he that would BE the law may give others the greater understanding, even as the Master gave - for oft has the body gotten the concept of the inner consciousness of those that would WILL to do, yet there presents often that of the material mindedness; through the lack of the insight, or understanding, or development - for all mean one and the same thing, in this sense - falter, err, and bring much to naught of those that are not stable and well grounded in the truth that makes men free.
7. (Q) [257] talking. "No," he said, "I won't give one nickel to the Association as long as someone can step in and take the whole thing in case Cayce dies." Then my father appeared and showed me what to answer or made me the agent to answer what he (my father) communicated through me - thus showing me in this manner what to say. (A remarkable example of spirit communication - yet some say it is vague and impractical.) My father, then speaking, altho it seemed to be me saying: "I believe there is motive and ability, purpose, to carry out that purpose, even if both the motive and ability are unseeable to the intellect." Then in the dream I reasoned what it was my father meant. I have never before in any introspective experience felt such a fine line drawn between that which was part of my own mental consciousness and between that given by another entity of consciousness, altho given thru me, as if motivated by me, when in reality motivated by another intellectually

unseeable mind. I reasoned then that my father meant that he himself and other forces would take care of this matter - had it fully in hand, so to speak.
(A) Again and again is that lesson presented to the entity as of calling and warning the entity of that great trouble that defeats many purposes - Unbelief; for oft and long has it been given, through those same sources, and in the same way and manner as is seen and understood by this entity, that the forces would not defeat themselves, and that once set in that perfect way of administering service and of justice, and of education, to others, this would be as perpetual. Then learn - if not by that already given - by this vision, this verification of the lessons and truths, that these are as the perfect UNDERSTANDING - and is as from the sources of truth!
8. (Q) Here a definite example of just such unseen motive at work. My father put into my consciousness the fact - (A) (Interrupting) This only the interpretation of self. GAIN that lesson, that truth, as has been set - for over and over again are the truths, the lessons, being POUNDED - as it were - into the CONSCIOUSNESS of the entity of the GREATNESS OF the understanding that may be attained, and of the PURPOSE as is being set in motion. Wilt thou be worthy? Or shall another be raised that there may come to the peoples the great truths that will bring again those joys that come from the more perfect understanding of man's relations to the creation and the creation's active force in the material plane?
9. We are through.
