1. [900]: Now you will have before you the body of [900], present in this room, and the various associations connected with his life and endeavors. Now Father, up to the present time we advance in our work according to Thy will, or to our best understanding of that will. Guide us, and answer the questions that I shall ask, that we may be commanded in our further endeavors.

2. EC: We have the body here, and those associations in the material, in the mental, and in the spiritual plane.

3. In the various phases of the development of the body, we find that a very beautiful study may be made of those differences as may be found through that of association of ideas from the environmental standpoint or that as has commonly been called heredity. Heredity meaning, in the broader sense, that as has been attained by the entity through the various phases of its experience in the earth's plane. Environmental meaning the application of those various knowledges or understandings the entity has applied through those various stages. Not merely meaning the incidents of birth, nor the incidents surrounding the individual life of an entity.

4. In applying this to this body here, then, my son, we find that in the various studies as have been made there is being attained the greater understanding, and then the application must be in the greater scope, the greater way, that the development of self may be in the broader sense, even unto that as has been given that may be attained by the entity through this present experience - that it, the entity, may go on, and in that of the poet's say, "with other worlds to conquer".

5. Ready for questions.

6. (Q) In respect to that just given, my dream of this morning correlating the experiences of the past week, in which was said, "Stocks and bonds will not impart the idea." (A) In this is given that as the concept of self is seen to

900-339 Page 2

understand: That while the application of that understanding as is being attained by the entity may bring, will bring, and does bring with same good and bad, this does not wholly answer that within the vision, or the understanding of the entity, as to what the concept of those various experiences as have been given, or have been experienced by the entity through the various periods in the evenings of the last few weeks - for, as is seen by that close association [Elbert Gary?] here: "[900], we see that it is not all that of the acute, or the eccentricity of an act in an individual life that has given an individual the greater scope of BLESSINGS in the thought of a financial world, or a finance board as that I occupied; yet we find that while this acumen as was gained through this earth's experience, the application of other truths than that as apply to stocks and bonds are used in that of knowing men." See? For, as it was given in the call when Nathaniel was under the fig tree. Did not the Master give, "Did I not see thee under the fig tree, Nathaniel?" Even so we find in the applications of the various understandings in the earth's experience, we apply NOT only that as is in the respect of one individual PHASE of life, but that as applies to all phases of an individual experience. Even as the MASTER called Nathaniel and awoke within the individual that understanding or knowledge that a greater than he spoke. So, in individual lives when we speak of stocks or bonds, or we speak of that as a social or of the other phases of life, let each one speak with that knowledge of the perfect understanding of the Whole.

7. (Q) I have thought that the application of recent experiences lie in doing that as was given to me in those experiences, yet many seem conflicting - that is, different viewpoints. (A) Quite so. As is seen by that just experienced in it is not ALL in stocks or bonds - often, as has been given, many such experiences as relate to such are as those of lessons concerning other phases of life. Then the question naturally arises, how shall be the discrimination? Oft has been given to thee, my son, be thou considerate and be thou close in discrimination. When the lesson is given as the direct command, ACT. Even as was given by the Master, "Peter, GO, collect the tribute and pay same." When it was given - same command, as it were, to Peter - "Understandest thou what thou hast spoken? It has been revealed unto thee from the Father on High." Yet in the next word, He gave "Get behind me Satan," see? Just so, when these are as a command, ACT. When these are as the lessons, or are as the visions of that, then apply these in their correct place,

900-339 Page 3

plane, that the greater understanding and that the greater application may come to thine own understanding and consciousness.

8. (Q) Then it would be best, even now, to obey the original command given to me twice early in the week? (A) Obey the command given thee early in the week.

9. (Q) Now, regarding our work in Virginia Beach, reviewing same, we have accomplished much; yet we have bitten off more than we can chew at the moment. Where, then, may we gain the tribute immediately necessary for same? (A) Ask and ye shall receive. Seek and ye shall find. In applying that knowledge, then, these are the conditions as confront the efforts of those that would carry out those conditions as are, and as are presented in the present situation. These are well. These are good. More and more will be the requests for memberships. Not sufficient, we say. Again more and more will be the requests for aid through these sources. STILL the answer, not sufficient for the needs of the hour. Again and again has it been given that those who have been interested in that as has been set forth, either by word or by the good obtained, should be appealed to in person or direct, or other groups - through these same sources and channels - will contribute to the needs of that as is necessary for the carrying on of that as has been contemplated. How then, we say, shall these be accomplished? In many places, many cities, there are those groups engaged in the study of phenomena in the various phases, and these should be appealed to - in groups - to contribute to that worthy condition as confronts those carrying out the efforts and the commands of that work in hand, see?

10. (Q) Best that Edgar Cayce visit these in person? (A) Visit these in person.

11. (Q) Will you name a few who might be addressed immediately? (A) Many, or any of those groups in New York, Philadelphia, Birmingham, Chicago, Dayton, St. Louis, or any of those places wherein the various groups have been addressed by this body. See? For, as was given in times back, there began the two who first sought to begin the gathering together of funds for establishing of the work. As this moved from place to place, not only did amounts in material wealth grow, but numbers in those of the following, until there were hordes, see? Thoughts are deeds, and may become miracles or crimes. A crime not to put such into action, as is seen in the work necessary before the Work at present.

12. (Q) Regarding the contact held by Edgar Cayce in relation to the oil proposition that so directly affects our

900-339 Page 4

organization. Command us with regard to what action we should take. (A) Even so as would those conditions be given in the question as was presented the Master: "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, unto God the things that are God's." The BINDING of the efforts are as binding as were the commands to direct. Hence give that necessary for the more perfect understanding, yet give with same that warning that pearls will not be cast before swine. Then, use that obtained through such sources in the way and manner as will bring glory, power, strength, understanding, to many.

13. (Q) With regard to Professor Hibbins' letter asking for an arrangement of a lecture tour in America, possibly under the auspices of our organization. [W. G. Hibbins - William G. Hibbins, B.Sc., B.Eng., University of Sheffield, England] (A) Let this lecture tour begin by the fifteenth (15th) of March of next year! This would be WELL, for we will find many conditions will have set themselves in shape wherein this character of the spreading, as it were, of knowledge concerning phenomena and its various phases will be much worth while, bringing not only to the Association that of gain through the advertisement of the phenomena and the endeavors of the Association, but will bring much understanding to many of the hearers - for a worthy cause, a just man, a perfect knowledge on phases of phenomena.

14. (Q) He asks just who to get in touch with. (A) The various organizations as will be addressed, or individuals or groups that will become interested in the organization, will be the same channels, same groups, through which this should be approached or reached.

15. (Q) That is, we will be able to have him over here under our own auspices to lecture to - (A) (Interrupting) To the various societies studying phenomena, or studying psychology, in the various centers throughout the country. Obtain, then, the names of the secretary and president of the various psychology clubs - that will be perfected in their winter study by the fifteenth (15th) of October, see? present year. Through this means, through this channel, the tour may be made throughout the various centers, see?

16. (Q) Where may I best obtain this knowledge or information? (A) Address to the various centers, such as to the secretary of the Practical Psychology Club of Dayton, Columbus, Chicago, New York - MANY centers are found in various portions of the country. OUTLINE that which would be the best for the trip, see?

17. (Q) Now, regarding our further endeavors here in

900-339 Page 5

Virginia Beach. Advise us, and tell us of any better move that we may make, either of a spiritual or material nature. (A) Many various conditions are to be considered when one would advise groups or individuals seeking to understand and to apply the knowledge as is obtained through these sources, as applied to group, individual, or Association work or labors. Yet these are being followed out in a very consistent and systematic way and manner. More and more must groups be attracted to the efforts of the Association. This will be better accomplished through those addresses as would be given in various centers, letting same be known among the various groups nearer these same surroundings, that when the work of the Association is taking the definite shape the seeking of knowledge may be the greater.

18. We are through for the present.
