Time of Reading 11:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ..., N.Y. City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read them to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. This we have had here before. Ready for dream.
3. The dreams come to the entity through those channels as have been outlined for the entity, and are to be used in the way and manner - in the physical and mental plane - in the way as has been outlined for the body.
4. Ready for dreams.
5. (Q) Morning of Dec. 21, 1927. [137] and [2886] seemed walking in worried manner together. [2886] seemed to leave and then to rejoin [137] and both went laughingly into a dark clothes closet to telephone. (A) This, as is seen, emblematical of conditions the body conscious mind has held as respecting the mental relations as exist between the two seen, and as the entering into the clothes closet - dark - represents that air of mystery, or not understanding the body has held respecting this individual relationship; yet the air of each as they are seen returning or emerging from same gives to the entity the assurance that in and through that analyses of each individual the entity or the body consciousness of [900] may gain the better understanding and awakening to that good to which such relations may be turned, not only in the mental and spiritual way but in the financial as well.
Then the lesson, the entity [900] should study this relationship in the light of lessons, truths and understanding as have been gained by the entity; remembering that in application, as has been given, does the entity find the truths as are being sought by the mental consciousness

of self, and in this way there comes the understanding; for in physical or material, or individual application do the laws as concerning truths become established, by one studying any element of such conditions, whether these are of the physical, mental or spiritual nature. [1/4/28 See 900-3606 continuing information in above.]
6. (Q) Beheld Edgar Cayce in trance or unconscious condition. He seemed pale and sick - almost deathly. Then he became irrational. I pointed out to onlookers that the one taking the reading was acting that way. "See," I said, "The one taking the reading controls the way of manifestation of the phenomena. What he does this unconscious man does in imitation." (A) Again the laws of that as is seen in this manner of the relationship as exists between the forces of the mental, subconscious and spiritual plane, through relativity of action. Relativity - that force or that application so little understood by so many; yet the entity, self, in applying that seen should NOT call same through the action of self's OWN relative position in same, but rather apply the lesson in self's own application or relative forces as applied from self to the various phenomena as the entity sees, hears or experiences in the various fields. While it is true all force is of one emanation, and the various phases of its activity is relative according to another's individual activity towards that being manifested. Hence one may not judge for another. Hence, "Judge not that ye be not judged, for with what judgement ye judge it shall be meted to you again." Again we find in this experience that of the telepathic essence of force being seen by the entity or subconscious force in that of a study that is to be and will be explained by the entity or consciousness. Hence the entity having gained through this experience that knowledge necessary of how such force, power or the action of such phenomena is to be explained. Another finds in this the channel of explanation. Finding then in this the two-fold study, well that the conscious forces of the body [900] gain the lesson as is given to same through this experience.
7. (Q) Meaning the attunement existing between the intellect and subconscious, the latter in flesh taking its direction from the former? (A) This, as we see, is reasoning from the improper status of relativity of force; for rather is that of the action of the mental consciousness controlling or urging through its relative application of self to universal forces, than to subconscious; for when we speak of subconscious forces and universal forces we are speaking of one and the same; yet it
900-359 Page 3
is understood that the subconscious forces of any individual, whether from the physical plane or alive sensuously in the physical plane, or the subconscious forces of a cosmic entity - we are reasoning only from one faculty of a universal consciousness, or a universal relativity of force. Just so, when one would reason from that of the mental flesh consciousness, or the mental application of the individual toward the information as would be obtained through anyone, or this individual in particular as seen in vision - when in the subconscious or unconscious, or in attunement with the universe - then may consciousnesses, and not one, is contacted; and the relative position of the individual so conducting such is as of one among MANY activities of a mental consciousness toward that of the consciousness or consciousnesses from which such information would be or is being obtained. Hence that as has been given, that one of the negative [passive state] - rather than positive - would obtain the better results from such experiences or such manifestations for another seeking information from such sources, see? or again this as is seen gives the outlet for the entity to explain, as given, that taking place when such phenomena through the channel seen is in the state of activity.
8. (Q) What is the larger application of this in the meaning of life? (A) That not only one element, but every element in a universal force has its effect upon the various [used in OAL pamphlet] phenomena of life in the action of an individual entity in its relationship to the whole. Hence we find this prerogative: That while we are apparently reasoning from and through an heterogeneous mass, yet that one factor of the inner force or spark of the entity's association, or the entity's relative force from the first or from the universal cause of creative energy, has its activity throughout. See? This rather deep, but well worth studying, well worth understanding, that the application of same may be made as respecting any phenomena of life. In the greater or lesser degree this same universal force as is applied in this sense is the same way and manner in which ideas or ideals of an individual respond to the various conditions as may be presented to self through the various forms of that called the experiences or the phenomena of life. Man from the purely material sense only becomes conscious through the sensuousness or through the ability of attunement of the sensuousnesses of the physical body, or through the five senses. Yet ever is that sixth, seventh or eighth sense of the entity alert to the various responses as received by the
900-359 Page 4
inner self through the various experiences of life. Hence we find in many various phases of same these - taken as an oneness - become as it were branches or lines of study sought out by individuals and classified as the keynote; yet no ONE is superior to the other in its influence upon the individual life, save as to what the individual's development or attunement is - through its experiences - to those various PHASES OF the same thing! Hence we find one may set that all sensuousness of an individual only comes through hearing, seeing, feeling, or experiencing as a whole. Another may say only that sense of inner self-preservation of self as an individual, toward the self-propagation of self as an individual, is the keynote of experiences of life; yet in this very ensample, or example as has been set, we find this disproves that ANYONE may be the whole - but all are a part or portion of the whole. Dependent, then, upon the individual development OF the individual as to what the response may be, whether as to self-preservation, self-propagation, or self expression of sensuousness, in making self big in mind or in the various expressions of sensuous experience.
9. We are through for the present.
