1. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [900] - this we have had before. Dreams come in and through those channels as has been outlined. Ready for dream.
2. (Q) Night of May 17, 1928. I took a reading for a lady, a friend of [257]'s. We insisted that she follow out the suggestion, which was go away for a time. She did as the reading gave and died anyhow. That seemed to break us al up. She did as the reading gave didn't get well anyhow. Cayce was terribly down in the mouth. I tried to explain to you and told you there was part of it that you hadn't gotten yet; that it was still individuality giving things to do besides the physical observation of doctors. Can't see it at the time, but nevertheless it's possible that when everything is done that life in the physical form cannot be retained; that the readings are not absolutely inevitable that it cures. I was trying to explain it but those that were criticizing didn't seem to get it. I went and looked out the window. "It's awful lonesome in this world to me sometimes," I said - and sudden change and I seemed to be in the Borderland. I met the woman who died, and said to her, "You are dead," she said, "No, I'm not - I'm perfectly alive and going out - doing the same things I've always done." "No," I answered her, "You think or imagine you are, but if you'll just run what you think is your hand through what you think to be matter, you will see that you can go right through matter, and you will understand that you are dead, or have changed." She did, and said, "Well, what's the difference anyway? It isn't so important." I said, "No, in one sense not." I felt it more important that she could understand. Then I seemed to even go higher. An entity spoke to me and told me that he was Elbert H. Gary's brother. He would send some stocks to me - I could do with them as I pleased. That one he sent though was Continental Insurance. Among other advice he gave me, he said when we get the hospital started, or start giving treatments on the

readings in Virginia Beach, have a legal form made out which the patients sign, that they of their own volition desire the treatment by the doctor exactly as given in reading, and that it is their will and choice in the matter. (A) This, as is presented, is as conditions have been given regarding part of those conditions. That as respecting the first portion, as seen, is as has been given time and again - that only as the individual is able to apply that attained, and to gain that consciousness of same, that in that way only may same be applicable to the individual - see? and as to conditions as are given, that does not change the condition at all; for to an individual a thing is true or not true, according to their own individual consciousness of a thing. This is seen even in the individual as is seen by the entity in the Borderland, and is demonstrated to same in the manner as outlined; as is that given regarding conditions to be done in accordance with those as in keeping with the understanding of individuals as might apply for information and treatment through the operation of the institution. Do it!
3. (Q) Night of May 18, 1928: Regarding Central of New Jersey & the event in Wabash. (A) Again this is referring to those conditions as have been given as respecting that which would be given the entity as respecting the various stocks as were seen, especially those of the rails (as have been going in circles) and the information as given as respecting that those as seen should be purchased, and that the variations would be brought about by the general conditions, and the reports as respecting the combines, and that the individual would be given from period to period that necessary understanding to apply same in the way and manner as used or suited to the individual use.
4. (Q) Does it mean to buy Central R.R. and Reading? (A) Central and Reading.
5. (Q) Now you have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900] and the proposition he has from [2709] to buy stock in American Inca Co. which is of a rayon silk manufacture. Should the body take it, or not? [See 2709-2, Par. 7-A on 3/19/28.] (A) Here we find again correlation of conditions, events and circumstance, as has been given the entity would be brought to the body from time to time. This especially referring to that as related to interests across waters. Now, there has been given that there were conditions that would come to the entity that were across waters that would bring great amount of monies. There has been given that

others would the entity be approached concerning which the entity should have nothing to do with. This is one of those; for, while the proposition is proper in many ways and manners, there are some unsavory and unsatisfactory conditions associated with same. Let it alone. Those others will come through which many associations, both of the material, social and financial nature will be great for the entity - applied properly. We are through with this reading.
