Time of Reading 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. N.Y.C.

1. [900]: Now you will have before you the body of [900], present in this room, the various relationships in the life of this body, and you will answer questions that I will ask you regarding these relationships, or regarding the understanding he seeks to understand and apply in life.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900] - this we have had before. In the various and varied interests and conditions, there are many things that would be well for the body to consider. In THIS relationship one would be mightily interesting, as well as instructive and beneficial. There is at last (and should have been first) serious consideration of the correlation of truths as are presented to the body through the various sources and channels, as have come to the assistance of the seeking mind. These have been thought on, yet many of these have been left aside for more interesting or more important things for the moment. In this correlation, then, it would be well that these various truths be compiled for or by the body in such a way and manner as they may be PROPERLY understood. In this classification there may be assured that these will act as a Board in this correlation, will it (the correlating) be properly set forth. Well that the body, the enquiring mind [900], consider the position each of these individuals has occupied in their various spheres of endeavor to present some phase of THIS phenomena the body, [900], is attempting to present to a waiting world at present. Consider their relationships of each of this Board during their experience and how same was received, for THIS a noble gathering - this Board. Morgan Robertson [3/9/29 A.M. See 254-49, Par. 15-A mentioning Morgan Robertson's advice] (not Robinson, for this is James Robinson - but Morgan Robertson), Leo Lopinsky, Lon Lombroso, David Livingstone, B. H. Wry, David Henry Wry, Benton H. Wentworth, Frederick L. Livingden, Thomas W. Marshall (yes, the vice-president), Deane L. Inge - these, with others, have in their various ways attempted to give their

900-429 Page 2

interpretation of THEIR experience. Some of these are in writings, stories of sea, of haunted homes, of various impressions of the same conditions being studied; some in the seeking of SPIRITUALISTIC influences - and some brought renown to their name, some brought shame. In the study of this, and where these may be attained or gained knowledge of in each of the phases that are studied, after such a correlation is made, will - in their own respective fields, as the study of same is made, give DIRECT TO the body that application in the present experience that should be made of that given. These are, as seen, in the intellectual field, in the scientific field, in the chemistry field, in that of the physical, mental, and spiritual field. Hence there will come, with the aid of these, the purely material application. Naturally there arises, then, this question in the mind of the body: Are these then lesser lights than those that have already signified their interest and their desire and determination to aid in the work? No. All stand judged before the truth in the same light, but one does not attempt to usurp the authority of another. THESE made literal application of the knowledge obtained through THEIR physical and material experience, and will give the ground work for the A, B, C, of the lessons as would be given by the body in the teaching. Then, these are necessary, also that it may be understood by those hearing and those teaching that there is the outline of the manner in which thought is directed for the training of the soul of EACH individual. In training, do not attempt to give meat where milk is needed. Do not attempt those of the heights before the individual is able to look up; but he that looketh up shall be raised up.

3. (Q) Does this mean that I may study these experiences of these individuals - (A) Rather of self - through the individuals' experiencing, applied to self and HOW to apply same to those that would harken.

4. (Q) Not, then, seek the writings of these - (A) Seek the instruction of these.

5. (Q) Gain through my own experiences - (A) Gain through the study of the CORRELATION of thine own experiences.

6. (Q) How would it be best to proceed to do this correlating? (A) One that would correlate, even as has just been given.

7. (Q) Does this mean the work to be done by Shroyer here at the institution? [Linden Shroyer - indexing of the readings?] (A) Work to be done by Shroyer, or one that will correlate, classify, GRADE - as it were - the experiences of the

900-429 Page 3

individual, and the INDIVIDUAL'S experience would be a basis for the individual to lay out for many; for these cover such a field that more than a year even would be required in the correlating of this ONE individual's experience, that same may be studied even by the individual, that it may be given to others.

8. (Q) That is, spend some time myself in getting together and classifying my own experiences and the first impressions thereof, and that which is given from here - or was given from here - regarding some of them? (A) And as the study of these are made, in their correlated form, these individuals - as a group, or as individual - will aid the body in the understanding of the lesson as is to be given to those seeking, of the forces.

9. (Q) How often, or how far apart should my lectures or classes be held here in Virginia Beach? (A) Do not overtax self's physical or mental forces in such an undertaking to the undoing of that being attempted, but the more OFTEN this may be given - the better for self and others. As the body studies, and as the body has that to give, give. At least every fifteen - sixteen - days, or every eighth day.

10. (Q) That is, every Sunday afternoon, or every other Sunday afternoon? (A) Either every Sunday or every other Sunday, but do not weary self nor others - but have the message that gives life, light, and understanding. Do not feed meats when milk is needed. Do not cause consternation where peace is desired. Do not take from, that which may not be given. Only aid an individual in the better understanding of self and self's abilities to gain that same access to the Father as was made by the Son, for all are children of the Most High and have fallen short in giving ourselves to the aggrandizement of earthly pleasures that fade and causeth corruption and rust, but in the light there is healing for those that would seek; and this body, this mind, may give just that needed for the many.

11. (Q) The hardest task, as was said by many who preceded me (and of course are greater than I), is to put these great fundamental principles in simple terms to people who seek not a lecture along ethical lines but some scientific relationship of their own being, to religious convictions in which they are already convinced. (A) None is convinced in that science or religious convictions are one. The first lesson for SIX MONTHS should be ONE - One - One - ONE; Oneness of God, oneness of man's relation, oneness of force, oneness of time, oneness of

900-429 Page 4

purpose, ONENESS in every effort - Oneness - Oneness!

12. (Q) That's the hardest principle for the physical layman to grasp, particularly - as Ouspensky points out - TIME. That's the stickler. (A) Time, in every one and in each illustration that may be applied; and be sure many of these carry as much humor as they do that of the shadow, that the Oneness is shown in these illustrations.

13. (Q) Would it be well that we have some formal opening at the Hospital? or just proceed quietly to work? (A) How oft has there been given, he that doeth good does NOT sound the trumpet nor make shouting from on high! Rather does it work from the INSIDE out, and such is merely the advertising of that which is NOT - or should not be - the intent and purport of that undertaken.

14. (Q) We seek only to demonstrate a principle through aiding those who seek aid from the spiritual source. (A) That MUST ever be the intent and purpose of all, else it would become Jim Jones' or John Henry's or some other's, and not the work of the Lord.

15. (Q) Patients who know our hospital is open must - (A) Has it not been given, O thou of little faith, that prepare that source in a way and manner that there may be given the opportunity of the forces to manifest THEMSELVES and it would do so? Believest thou that? or dost thou still become the doubter?

16. (Q) Now in the life readings, in studying same I note a change of sex from one incarnation to another. I - (A) How oft has there been the expression heard, "Were I a man - ", or "Were I a woman - I would do so and so? They do it! That as is constantly builded in the mental being takes shape in the home of the soul, whether to build that of the man or woman in a material world; for man is so much a portion of the whole as to either be a co-worker, a co-builder with the oneness of the force called God, or a destroyer - and as these forces then are builded, they take physical form through that experienced by the body of the ENTITY (not the physical, but the BODY of the entity - the soul). The soul is that everlasting portion of a body that is either crowded into that (beings that are known as men and women) of small or great stature. As has been studied time and time again, as has been given in relativity of force - in the active principle of the atomic conditions that take place in the material and spiritual world - the surroundings of the individual has ITS influence, see? that is, it has been long seen and known by man that the Laplander gradually attains to a certain stature and build.

900-429 Page 5

Why? The material surroundings are such that there is constantly implanted in the soul of the entity that that is that necessary for the best development through that individual plane, phase, place, position, of such peoples. Peoples seek, then, through that same channel through which it (the soul, the entity) may develop, that as necessary for its experiences to bring the perfect understanding of that oneness of which there has much been spoken.

17. (Q) Regarding my experience last night, is this a literal demonstration of that that took place at the death of Gary? (A) That is the literal demonstration of that that took place in this individual experience. That is also complimentary to that which takes place at the change in EVERY individual as passes through this vale; or becomes the experience at the awakening, or the quickening, of that individual's own inner self.

18. (Q) That is, the crowd on the physical side, or the group, and the group on the spiritual side, and the link between the dying individual is a literal representation? (A) A literal representation of that taking place. Now THAT may be given five years hence - but what would it mean to be attempted to be taught today!

19. (Q) I'm seeking that based on that which I have already studied - Now, regarding vibrations - that are but the application of the principle that I somewhat understand - the theory I get a little bit, sufficiently to teach - yet its application in terms of chemistry, engineering, or any other field of science, medicine for example, in the assimilation and secretions of organs of the body, I do not quite correlate. (A) How oft has it been given thee that in application the understanding of a theory is understood? As has been given, that to know and not to do is sin. To not know and to err is sin. To know and to apply that that is known is growth in the understanding of that as may be gained. Just as has been seen in the experiences even of Watt, in how that the raising of the lid was not understood - but the same force put into application brought to mankind much of that that gave a more perfect knowledge of steam. In the fall of the apple there was little other than may be experienced in any individual's life. Only Newton first saw that it applied to his relation with the universe and how it held the whole in the oneness one with another. In the application of the KNOWN the THEORY was gradually known by those who applied. Do thou likewise.

20. (Q) That is, in each experience there is a law which

900-429 Page 6

may be reached through working out the experience in terms of material application? (A) To be sure.

21. (Q) Yet what I mean - for example, to be definite - I can imagine the oneness of this force as respecting the air, the minerals, and Niagara Falls for example - but I might not be able to do even what the material minded can do, who can imagine no such thing in utilizing the Falls. (A) This is a very poor illustration. Rather take the apple, from which there seems to have fallen - Does the apple grow from the seed or the seed from the apple?

22. (Q) The apple grows from the seed. (A) The seed grows from the apple, because the apple and the blossom is there before there is the seed. These are all one in the purpose, as is seen in the growth of that which beareth that fruit that is known as the apple. The oneness of this force, once understood - by these various illustrations as may be given from the study of the correlation of the experiences of the body - Don't get the examination exercises before you get your A B C's. Commence at the beginning! Be satisfied with a beginning, not be looking for the end before you BEGIN! See? In the correlation of these INDIVIDUAL applications, as has been given thee - and as will be given thee by those who have just been pointed out to you - there will be shown the way. Believest thou that? Then DO IT! We are through for the present. Copy to Hugh Lynn Cayce " " Thomas B. Brown
