1. [900]: You will have before you the Association of National Investigators, or the Board of Trustees thereof, and the specific and particular problem that confronts this Board at this time, in the carrying out of the demonstration they seek to make in the hospital and in the educational departments. As regards the functioning of the various branches, and in particular as regards the present condition in the hospital, its organization and staff. You will advise us and answer questions concerning same. You will also answer regarding, [900] and the associations, or the questions regarding his life, that I will ask you - [900], present in this room.
2. EC: Yes - We have those conditions as confront the Association and its officers in the various departments of its work. In giving that as may be of aid at the present time, it would be well that that given the Board when it first began to function be reviewed by that Board with prayer and attention. [See 254-50 on 7/14/29.] Ready for questions.
3. (Q) First, with respect to the employment of an M.D. Physician - (A) This would not be well at the present moment to consider, though the conditions surrounding same are such that there may be well that others are used to investigate and to consider the conditions as surround same. Many there may be that may aid in the undertaking. Do not be too fast. Do not be unmindful of the conditions that are to be required of such an one.
4. (Q) There is, then, no emergency at the present time that requires either immediate action or action sometime in the immediate future? (A) Be well that consideration be given, as has just been outlined, for the conditions may arise where this will become necessary - but conditions should be studied in the
900-454 Page 2
light of that given, and in the ways as are in KEEPING with that being attempted.
5. (Q) May we have the names of some few who might do research with us, and who are in these - ? (A) There has been given several who might be interested. There are those who conditions have been questioned concerning. The activities must be on the part of those who seek such association. Make the need known in those places where such may be found, and there will be PLENTY of applicants.
6. (Q) With respect to the dietician - would Dr. Hansen [Cora C. Hansen, D.O.] fill the bill satisfactorily? (A) Dependent upon who is CONDUCTING the work, and under whose supervision the body would operate. As to the present status, there may be MADE such connections as might be satisfactory through that channel, but this doubtful - unless there is much consideration given by others concerning their activity. Now, that's crosswise, isn't it? Here: Under the present conditions the body might act in that capacity, provided there is division made with ones in charge of that income as would be given for same, see?
7. (Q) Would Miss Annie Cayce make a good shopper or buyer of the foods for the dietician to prepare? (A) Very good.
8. (Q) Now we have before us another alternative. It might be possible to secure the services of Dr. Lydic of Dayton. [Lyman A. Lydic, D.O.] (A) The services of this body may be had, and would be well to seriously consider the taking and gaining the services of such an one, for these would work well with that being attempted, and in the manner that the operations of same would be carried on. Under that alternative, would be well that the reverse of that as has been given be made. Employing, then, one under the supervision of such an one, that would care for the various characters of appliances and to care for the drug room, see?
9. (Q) With the present ethical conflicts it might be difficult to get the proper kind of M.D. to take a position in that status. (A) Not impossible. Not even improbable.
10. (Q) That is, we might be able to get a young student, or graduated student? (A) A graduate student.
11. (Q) Is there any school or individual who is now either desirous or in a position to recommend such young men for this position? (A) There is, as is seen, each year placed in various

hospitals for interne work the graduates of various schools. WE would give, the better for association of this nature, from the HOMEOPATHIC school, capable of writing or accepting the services in such capacity. Those now serving in the homeopathic or clinic work in Philadelphia, New York, Boston, or ANY of the states in which the association or affiliation of the state work and state appliance affiliate with Virginia, or Virginia affiliates with.
12. (Q) Is there such an institution in the state of Virginia? (A) In Virginia, in Pennsylvania, in Massachusetts, in New York.
13. (Q) Is there any other advice, direction or instruction in regard to any specific present condition that you will give regarding our work, either the hospital or education? (A) The phases in the educational work need much attention. Not the consternation as may arise from some of the activities, but due consideration given all, and the educational departments should FUNCTION as fast as possible. That particularly in the matter of the various characters of publications that should go out under the auspices of the Association and its work.
14. (Q) The quarterly magazine - [See THE NEW TOMORROW, DECEMBER 1929 and April 1930, Vol. I No. 1 and 2, published by the Ass'n of National Investigators and copyrighted by Thomas J. Sugrue - file copies in A.R.E. Library. GD's note: In May 1947 I think Thomas Sugrue influenced Eileen Garrett to call her new magazine TOMORROW.] (A) Should be one of those as should be the review, which should be by the time - this should be published, the review, by the first of April. The quarterly should be at least before the first of the year.
15. (Q) Is the material as now set up for the quarterly not in proper shape for publication? or is it of poor quality, as it has been pronounced? (A) Most of this is very good, and should be used in much the same state as it has been set up. Some of this should be changed materially, but at such a conference this may be EASILY clarified by the chairman of the board - Brown.
16. (Q) Is this well - or, there are two viewpoints of what such a publication might contain. One, that it should publish results. For example, it might publish that an expedition to Texas proved successful in discovering an unknown element. Then it might also add (which would be another viewpoint) where the information came from, and how it came, as to enable this expedition to BE successful. (A) Neither of these are exactly the point. Rather one the spectacular, the other the boastful, as this is directly set

up - but rather that of what might be termed the intermediate character - between these two - or, as is specified in the purpose, the intent, and the way it is intended to be used - see?
17. (Q) Now, regarding this body, [900] or recent days or nights there have been some rather unusual experiences. One, for example - it repeatedly - the contacting the baby, or my son, [142]. Is it true that he actually contacts me subjectively, from a fourth dimensional viewpoint of space? (A) Here we have - it may be stated in one word - in fact, it is viewed and contacted from that viewpoint. Here we have an exemplification of the truth as is set forth in the manner as regarding that entity's development through the material or earth's experience. In the study of the characteristics or personality, or individuality of the entity, when there are consternations or worries present, or to come, is it a wonder that the subjective self should project itself to aid or to warn the other concerning its activities? These are the character of such presentations, even as they have come in their various forms. Study these well together, for much may be gained for each through these experiences.
18. (Q) Now, tomorrow I am to talk the second time on the subject, "My Concept of God", as started last Sunday. Having before you last Sunday's delivery, have you any instructions to me regarding tomorrow? (A) Begin with that concept of the necessity of that projection of the oneness of the Father into the world that man may gain that fourth dimensional concept of life, even as has been and is presented by self in the various teachings or addresses, and IN same each will find that oneness of purpose, even as set forth by Paul - in Romans twelve. Read that. And with that concept, keep that oneness before YOU.
19. (Q) Is it true, as some seem to think, that Paul has - as he told me - influenced many of these addresses? (A) Would this not be inferred from that just given? for in this you will see thine own self. You will SEE thine own self. [9/19/31 See 311-6, Par. 8-A indicating "Paul has already entered 'in the mental world'".]
20. (Q) Now, regarding the experience in which my father seemed to indicate something - possibly market-wise, that I did not understand - regarding rails, and return. (A) In that, that given was that this - the rails - would be the criterion for the various activities, especially as regarding industrials. This not heeded wholly, and hence the warning of the return to this same position, or to that
900-454 Page 5
that these will again return to their NORMAL activities.
21. (Q) Normal meaning lower from present levels, or regain their higher levels from which they have tumbled? (A) Will regain higher levels, though in a more NORMAL manner.
22. (Q) Now, regarding last night - where my policy, or marginal policy was (this was night before last) - yet when pondering that given, even the conversation after - while I was awake, there came - "Just be reasonable." (A) The policies proper, as was given. The REASONABLENESS, that in the various changes that become NECESSARY - that reasonableness with the whole list be kept in accord with that given.
23. (Q) That is, I had to act as I did. (A) Correct.
24. (Q) The individual case, however - the one in particular question - might be dealt with - (A) Along more reasonable lines. [Mr. [900]: "As was done."]
25. (Q) Now, is there any further advice, either regarding finance or marketwise, or regarding my Association work, that it is well for me to be instructed in at the present time? (A) As there stood by thee in the hours when most worry came, and the satisfaction that there would not be failure IN the guiding hand, then KEEP that faith in self and in the ability to be guided AT the Board.
26. (Q) Is there any advice regarding the immediate future of those conditions? (A) Only that it will be given thee in the hands in the hour in need.
27. (Q) Would it be well - (this first, before asking specific questions) to go into the axle company? that is, is it in general an exceptional proposition? (A) An exceptional proposition. There are only one or two phases of same to be mindful of. These cleared, then the proposition would be WELL to go into, for there is aid to many, and there is much money to be made from same. Those to be warned of are the two whom have been given the privilege of expanding and using the privileges of the patents. These have not been abused - Timkin one, see? as also one - no, not General Motors, but a division of same - these well looked into, the POSITIONS thoroughly understood - then consider it.
28. (Q) With regard to my physical, any changes that may be given at the present time? (A) These, as we find, may be materially aided by that introspective experience as is given from time to time. Do

not put this off when presented. Rather DO it! for in application is strength. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n office " " Datastician " " [195] " through Par. 16-A (above) to [165], [341], and [849]
