This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 14th day of December, 1929, in accordance with request made by Mr. [900].

Time of Reading 5:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. N.Y. City.
1. [900]: You will have before you the bodies and enquiring minds of [900], present in this room, and [137] of N.Y. City, and the various phases, associations and activities of their lives regarding these; giving counsel, advice and explanation. You will answer questions.
2. EC: We have the bodies, the enquiring minds, [900] and [137] - these we have had before. Many varied conditions arise. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) That which was told me by another tonight, as follows: "Brother is wrong. Act!" What, if anything, is my brother doing that is wrong? and about which I should take action? (A) This rather as concerning those thoughts and intents as respecting conditions that have been discussed between the two. Hence the warning.
4. (Q) Regarding what phase of our life? Business, social, trip, or association in Virginia - have these conversations been about? (A) Regarding conversations of BUSINESS associations and conditions.
5. (Q) Is my brother contemplating taking some action in business that would not be for the best? (A) It regarding rather conversations between individuals, in which the brother would not take the same concerted action as the body [900]. This the change.
6. (Q) May this be made any clearer to me? (A) Those associated about the individuals, about the bodies.
7. (Q) Does this mean employees? (A) Employees.
8. (Q) My brother not desiring to take the same actions as respecting them? (A) Not desiring to take the same actions as would be taken by [900].
9. (Q) Does this mostly concern the customers' room or the back office? (A) Back office.

10. (Q) What is causing the pain in [niece [143]'s] ear? (A) Mostly from a SYMPATHETIC condition. The massaging of the 5th cervical to the 3rd dorsal, regularly, with the suggestions that it is being removed, will aid materially. There has been given, as before, how that the over-sensitiveness of the individual would at times work to the physical detriment of the body. This has been given, see? February, '25.
11. (Q) Would it be well for [137], [140], and [143] to take the trip to Havana as planned, everything considered? (A) WE find it would be well - would be well that ALL be in the trip.
12. (Q) Any precautions as regarding [143] on the trip? (A) Very good sailor - will be found to be much above the average. No especial precautions, other than that there is NOT an over burdening any time of the digestive system.
13. (Q) Any advice as to the care of son [143] on European trip? either on boat or while in Europe? (A) This has been given, as respecting the care. Be MOST mindful of the water as is taken.
14. (Q) What kind of bottle water, procurable on the boats and in France, would it be best for the baby to take? (A) Any of those that are of the clear or purified, or certified waters.
15. (Q) Is there any change in the weather conditions, or in the roughness of the sea? (A) At the period as given, should be very good. Hasn't it blown out?
16. (Q) Now, the experience of Edgar Cayce and myself on the cosmic plane, in which I experienced his death and his wait ing for me, greeting me as I came over, our joy at the new found freedom, and our raising up my body at the funeral. (A) This, as seen, that to which each individual may attain in the proper understanding of the relationships of the cosmic forces, or forces on the cosmic plane as related to the physical, and the full demonstration of the continuity OF life, as WELL as of CONSCIOUSNESS as respecting individuality as IS IN EACH INDIVIDUAL, and, as is seen, these may become that as may be given by another, as a thorough demonstration of the survival OF life. Should, then, be set down as that which is TO BE accomplished, and witnesses should bear the seal and know the same, see?
17. (Q) That is - this, then, is a specific prophesy of a living truth that will end, in a manner, our teaching? (A) This will DEMONSTRATE the teaching, and bring to remembrance much as will be given ALL concerning same.
18. (Q) This power then, or grace to this extent, will be

granted - that this - that demonstration - (A) That demonstration may be shown, may be given, may be foretold by those who will then be guiding the work, as being accomplished THROUGH the efforts OF those who would give the physical or material demonstration from the cosmic plane.
19. (Q) In three days, then, after my death, I will raise the body? (A) ASSIST in raising the body.
20. (Q) What was the differentiation in time? That is, I estimated it would take one day, as we count time, to dissipate the body in the elements - but Cayce answered me, "That will take one year to do." (A) The dissipation of the various elements requires time. The dissipation of force as may be used through the PHYSICAL BODY, requiring three days - as given.
21. (Q) [137] has foreseen his own death, the sequence of our death - that is, he has seen that he will outlive, in a physical form, all of us. [See 900-461, Par. R6] (A) This following in the natural sequence of the individuality of the entity, as related to the forces as are being studied, used, and as will be taught and manifested by the body - even as it may be said of the body, "If I tarry till one or the other return, that will be as he hopes" - and they will!
22. (Q) The significance of the phenomena as now made manifest through Miss [3734], to [137] and myself? (A) This the manifestation of an individual attunement to those cosmic forces as would USE the channel to approach, in immediate way and manner, those seeking information - and as MUCH FORCE is manifested through the two individuals as through the one. [GD's note: Miss [3734] was a telephone operator in the office of [900] and [137], who listened in on his calls to Va. Beach, etc. See 900-461, Par. B1.]
23. (Q) Now, regarding my experiences of last night. First there was the indication of the individuality and its relationship, or sectional relationship to the one, and its relationship to the whole, in its entirety. (A) This as that as is the differentiation in the truth as is given in that of the INDIAN thought and that as is TO BE given in [900]'s thought, or idea. ONE, that the individual becomes lost IN the whole. That as given, and as seen that, THAT the heritage of the soul is that the INDIVIDUALITY REMAINS, and KNOWS itself to BE ONE WITH the whole, but NOT the WHOLE, but one WITH and IN the whole, see?
24. (Q) It is a mental division that the soul mind becomes able to form -

(A) In the spaces, or in - there are few words to differentiate the difference in between, but, as there is seen, there is little that may not be illustrated from the material plane as may be in reference to the individual as may lose itself in the whole. There is in each kernel that image of THAT it may become, as a tree with fruit that bear STILL within same the image of others, and others, and others - yet each INDIVIDUAL, in itself, a portion OF the whole, yet NOT the whole, but bearing within same the whole, see? So, as individuals - NOT merely a discernment of the MENTAL, but an actuality, as the variance in just such relationship.
25. (Q) That is, what we build in ourselves brings us - (A) Into that very same concept of the INDIVIDUAL'S concept of ITS creative energy, MADE, in mind AND will, ONE WITH the whole; YET able in ITS self to act in ITS own individual capacity, as long as it makes ITS will ONE WITH the whole.
26. (Q) Now, there was advice given regarding certain contacts I was to make - (A) These as relating to that as has oft been given as concerning the body's crossing large bodies of waters, and the various contacts as would be made in, during and after, and while crossing such - see?
