Time of Reading 8:30 A. M. New York City.

1. EC: We have the bodies of [257] and [903] here. These we have had before. There are changes in the associations, as well as physical conditions with the bodies of each - physical, as has been given, in the general manner both are very good, and are capable of carrying out those relations with each that bring to their individual lives the best in each - and through this association may bring the better service to others and through same gain for selves those developments that bring peace, joy, and happiness in a life worth being lived, and surrounding selves with those conditions that make for a higher, better, and more worth while life in the experience in the physical world.

2. As to the physical condition of [903], we find there needs only be kept those high ideals in the mental, and to so coordinate self and self-expression in that way and manner that brings out the best in the life of the associate - NEVER allowing self to be so SELF-CENTERED as to not consider the PLACE, the TIME, the POSITION of self and of that COMPANION that will aid when guided aright. Never RILE for that sake of carrying points, nor of self-assertion, but in meekness, serving the Lord - for through these channels may come blessings to many people. In the physical body keep self in that manner as has become almost as second nature to self - and that this purpose be kept aright through the physical being, the manifestations of the mental and the spiritual find their expression. Keeping then the physical in that way that the better expression may be given.

3. In the body of [257], as given, in the mental the body very good; yet there should be more CONSIDERATION and FORBEARANCE in the ATTITUDE toward that COMPANION that may bring the greater joy in the life - finding in that life and in the mental abilities of that life those necessary developments that will ADD that POLISH - that condition NECESSARY for the more COMPLETE development of the mental abilities of the body - for the GREATER position, and the

greater possibilities and problems that will be set before the mind, even THROUGH this ASSOCIATE - and keep self unspotted from the world.

4. And in LOVE show the PREFERENCE for that COMPANIONSHIP, in the LITTLE THINGS that make the larger life the bigger and the better! And EVER keep this in the inmost recesses of the heart - that in love the world was saved and made; in hate and indifference the world may be destroyed - And to MAR the LIFE of one in INDIFFERENCE, or in differentiating between that as is CONSTRUCTIVE and DESTRUCTIVE is NECESSARY for the better purpose in the bodies' doings. In preference then - show THINE SELF the ONE to FULFILL those things that may be builded through these associations in this great experience, upon which each are now voyaging.

5. In the physical keep body fit, in the ways and manners as has been given - for the first commandment with promise - Honoring self through PREFERENCE given to those that are in thine OWN household. Prepare self then, would that honor be thine own heritage from thine own offspring - for to merit such is as necessary as to show that for which the body, mental, physical and social, has been so honored.

6. In the physical, then, take those warnings as has been given, and TAKE TIME to keep thine body in that manner that the better and bigger things may be manifest through same - and keep the eye single of purpose, and let that of honor and love not outshine those of coin in a realm that is of only a temporal nature, and in so doing bring to self those things that bring to the declining years the peace of a life correctly spent.

7. Think not that each will not find fault one with another; yet, let that mind be in each to acknowledge error, for each becomes the bigger by acknowledging, and not committing the same error twice. And in love keep those joys that come in showing the peace and joy in keeping first and foremost those precepts as were given to be in: Honor, serve, thy God - for thine God is a zealous, not a jealous God, willing that all men should be one with Him in bringing the knowledge of Him to the sons of men.

8. As to the financial that will come to each, and in the usage of that - take that thou hast in hand and consecrate same to Him - for "The silver and gold is mine," sayeth the Lord, and is lent to man to be used in that way and manner that brings the more perfect knowledge of Him in the world. With this first set, that law applies as was given of old: "Seek the Lord while He may be found, and all these things shall be added unto thee," for the Lord is not as slack (as men count slackness) in giving good gifts unto those that

love Him - and he that loveth me, sayeth the Lord, will keep my commandments - for they are not grievous - for unto him that shows mercy, I'll show mercy.

9. As to the association of [257] with ... Furniture Factories [Albert Pick Co.], and those who go to make up same, there has been outlined the policy concerning same, and that is given as from Him who knoweth all things. There must come the reckoning then. Keep thine self in that way, with present efforts and the labors in the way and manner as was presented even by Israel to Laban - for as these are as of an ensemble when that period arrives when there are to be set - Demand that thou hast earned in thy service, and He will - will not - forsake thee - lest thou, thyself, dash thy foot against a stone. Keep in way as given, remembering that in these lines is a way and means, and manner. Keep self and self interest constantly in the way as has been given - which will in this slack season prove the acceptable way to expand self's interest, to improve self's position with individuals and people as a whole. Keep thy path straight. [See 903-3, Par. R7.]

10. (Q) How can [903] better assist [257]? (A) Better consider how [903] can understand [257] and through that the help for better development. That is, take selves in hand and gain the perfect understanding of each, and form first His ways in thine association one with another.

11. (Q) As to Chicago offer - (A) Present, as given, to him - these should know that others consider - do not be overquick at the resentment that may be shown. Accept same with that blessed indifference with work and self, and thereby gaining knowledge through service.

12. (Q) Why changed attitude of firm? (A) No change. Rather that of manner of man, seeking to know difference of attitude of [257] under different conditions. Think not the president does not know of offers and considerations that have been shown the body!

13. (Q) What does Treasurer think of marriage? (A) Well. The body should accept attention of the president in that loving indifference as may be shown, not as something as given that is due or preference - but a loving indifference as being merited.
