Time of Reading 10:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. N.Y.C.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [257], also [759] and [903], present in this room, who seeks advice, counsel and guidance, as to his physical, mental and material affairs. You will answer the questions which he submits.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the bodies, the enquiring minds - these we have had before, [257], [759] and [903].

3. In those conditions physical and mental that surround the body, [257] - in the physical, this we find very good in most respects. There are still those warnings as respecting the mental and physical relaxation that should be taken, in those varied forms that have been outlined for the body.

4. While there are not in the present as many of those mental disturbances in its relationships to others, these conditions - under the stress and strain that will naturally come with the establishing of relationships in the various manners as respecting the material conditions - will bring about those periods of disturbances in this direction.

5. Well that the physical body be kept in that accord and attunement that the body may function the better in EVERY way and manner.

6. Those disturbances that arise from overtaxation in any of those faculties of the system as related to the sensory system, these are oftentimes received; for the tendencies are for such weaknesses - as in throat, nasal cavities, and those portions of same receive distress through the manner in which there are the attempts of the system to adjust itself to the various altitudes, the various astronomical pressures, and those conditions relating to the surroundings and pressure and atmospheric conditions.

7. Well, then, that these precautions be taken, that there is oft and at most periods at hand that which may act as the antiseptic for those membranes that are disturbed at times, and we will find being prepared will prevent there being disorders in these portions of the system. To have at hand,

903-16 Page 2

use this as a preparation that may be carried often in the grip, or convenient for use morning and evening when such radical changes are made, as in the atmospheric pressures, in the travel on train, or in closed or close offices, or the changes that make for these pressures on these portions of the system; especially when coming under the stress of a high mental activity of the body:

8. In a container at least of eight ounce proportion, preferably with two entrances through the cork - which would be of glass or rubber, so that the solution may be easily inhaled in the nostril and throat, we would - to 4 ounces of grain alcohol - add: Oil of Eucalyptus..........................30 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp.......................5 minims, Benzosol in solution (dissolved & added)...15 minims, Rectified Creosote..........................2 minims, Benzoin....................................10 minims, Tolu in solution...........................40 minims. When inhaled, shake well and inhale through the nostril once or twice - each side, then in the mouth. Keep tightly corked when not in use.

9. In the general activities - take time each day to PERFECTLY relax, that the whole system may keep an even balance.

10. Be mindful of those suggestions that have been given respecting the diet, in the various portions or surroundings in which the body may find itself.

11. Keep in that manner that there may be the closer association of the mental with the soul or spiritual forces of the body. These would naturally develop, we find, with having a specific period or time for this relaxation of the body each day. No matter what the circumstance, when that time arises have the period of relaxation!

12. In the physical conditions that we find with the body, [759], these are very good in many respects; and there needs be only those precautions as to keep an even coordination with the physical forces of the body, especially through those developing periods of the body in the present. As to the precautions we would give at the present time, be mindful that precautions are taken against any character of infectious forces from exterior activities, should such appear.

13. In the physical functioning or forces of the body, [903], these - as we find - are near normal. There has been some disturbance in the soft tissue of the throat, and

903-16 Page 3

especially of the frontal portion in face. This comes from repressions in the body. Air, sunshine, those forces that come from more activity of elements that make for resuscitation of calcium for the system, will alleviate these conditions in the body, bring normal reactions for the body.

14. As to those activities that come with the physical functionings of the body, keep in a normal manner of developments.

15. Ready for questions.

16. (Q) How shall she reduce bust? Please advise. (A) This, as we find, may be best accomplished through the characterization of the diet, as related to those that supply particularly for the glands that affect the growth or prominence of same for the body. All those that add starches to the system make for a development. Then, those that carry an extra or excess amount of calcium in the system - and those that carry less starches, or those that act with the mammary glands - will tend to make for this reduction. Usages of external influences are detrimental, and often cause activities in reverse to that being created in the system, producing irritation in the glands - which is apt to become destructive, and of little value, causing disorder or disruption in some portion of the system.

17. (Q) Where would be best place for family to resuscitate for the next six weeks? (A) Where there may be the better opportunity for the air, atmospheric conditions, or plenty of sun or sand - or sand AND sun, that will supply for the bodies the resuscitating forces.

18. (Q) Long Island or Virginia Beach? (A) The natural properties that are in the sands of Virginia Beach are elements that are more beneficial than those on Long Island. While those on Long Island carry sufficient iodine, that makes for a portion of a development, those in Virginia Beach carry gold, radium, iodine, AND the elements that make for a greater balance in a system - building more resistance for the body than we find in MANY other such surroundings. [See 9/18/53 newspaper clipping, 903-16, Par. R4.]

19. (Q) How can [759]'s speech be helped? (A) This is a natural development, with the development of the mental abilities of the body. As we find, this is not a defect but rather the attempt of one portion of the body to function - or does function - much faster than the ability of the other to give expression to same. No one would say, then, make him much less bright in his activity mentally!

903-16 Page 4

but so use those activities that the power of differentiation and expression may be added in their development to meet the needs! So, each morning before beginning the activities of the day, three to five minutes of massage along the area of the 3rd to the 5th cervical will enable a development of the vocal forces to give expression, and make for better coordination of impulses from the sensory system to their expressing points in organs of same.

20. (Q) Is there any need or occasion for medicines for the body of [257]? (A) As has been given, the compound we would keep handy. When there are changes, or a tendency of phlegm or accumulations, or cold in throat or head, these we would use. If the precautions as to the diet are kept, the eliminations will be kept normal. These, as we find in the present, are the only precautions or conditions where there would be the necessity of any character of such things.

21. (Q) What will keep my weight down to normal? (A) The activities in the diet, to be sure, and the regular physical activities that have been outlined for the body. In the matter of diet, as has been given, those things that are in or native of whatever portion of the country in which the activity of the body may be. Beware of sweets and of condiments. These are those that are the flesh producing, or the weight producing for the body.

22. (Q) What should my normal weight be? (A) About three to five pounds less than at present.

23. (Q) Will anything cause hair to grow on forepart of head? (A) Most of this has been passed too long. As may have been said in many, brains and hair do not grow close together - but use those PRECAUTIONS rather, as has been outlined, to prevent further inroads in this direction - the cleansing at times with the crude oil, cleared afterwards with a twenty percent solution of alcohol, and occasionally use pure white Vaseline - the best for this particular body.

24. (Q) What will relieve the dandruff? (A) Do this, and he won't have any dandruff!

25. (Q) What will relieve the gases that occasionally bother the body? (A) Quit eating sweets! Use at times a level teaspoonful of Upjohn's Citrocarbonate, thoroughly dissolved in a glass of water, when these occur or when there is a fullness felt. This acts as a gas reducer; but keep rather the sweets

903-16 Page 5

absent and we will find such will disappear - this doesn't mean to take vinegar in its place, either!

26. (Q) What will relieve stiffness at back of neck? (A) This comes from those conditions in throat and nasal cavities. If we will relieve these, so that the circulation is well, these will be well for the body.

27. (Q) Is condition of inner ear, which causes itching, better? (A) This is a form of eczema that comes from those same characterizations in poor eliminations through this portion of the system. With the activities that have been outlined, and with those conditions improved in the circulatory system - through the change in the character of the circulation, these should disappear.

28. (Q) What will stop the condition that occurs between the toes occasionally? (A) Use occasionally Witchhazel in its full strength to reduce this. Bathe - when feet are bathed, and bathe them often - in SALT water.

29. (Q) Are heart and intestines in good condition? (A) These are very good.

30. (Q) Are treatments [903] has been taking at Reilly's beneficial? (A) These have been beneficial in many directions. In some of those that have been claimed, they will not be much good, but for the general conditions of the body these are very, very good.

31. (Q) How can [257] improve his mental abilities to cope with all mental situations? (A) The formula has been given! Will it follow it properly? Sincerely, earnestly, take TIME each day to relax thoroughly! Entering into that inter-between, that comes between the mental-physical activities and the spiritual activities, and we will find the abilities to meet all forces that have been developed by the body. Do not do so one day and the next skip an hour, or an hour and a half, or will commence again tomorrow - but be as sincere with the carrying out of same as is DESIRED by the body to be able to cope with those conditions of every nature that present themselves to the body from day to day! We will find this will not only aid the body, but will assist the body in aiding others he contacts from day to day to aid themselves.

32. (Q) What is the best hour of the day for this? (A) Either EARLY of morning (6:30 to 7:00) or in the evening (7:30 to 8:00). The MORNING is better, to be sure.

33. (Q) What course of mental development should [903] now seek? (A) In keeping with those developments that have been carried out by the body, in its TRAINING for its mental associations with others in the past. Now use those same in

903-16 Page 6

the fitting self for the meeting of and enabling others to balance themselves in a same sort of capacity; for being an individual with the artistic temperament that comes from the attunement of the psychic forces of self with its mental abilities, it is enabled to make that character of growth in the mental and physical associations that brings sympathy, contentment, and an activity that brings for a life of usefulness in every association with others; enabling others to bring forward that that is best within themselves, and as this is accomplished in others the self rises to meet that which is expressed. Keep sweet!
