Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [903]; ready for questions.
2. (Q) What should be done to get the body back on its feet? (A) The applications that have been determined or designated for the correction of the conditions respecting the activities of the system, as we find, should be carried on in the manner that has been indicated. Then, with rest and with the proper precautions, the body should at least carry on. (In undertone) Many conditions that are not so savory!
3. (Q) How long should she rest? (A) This must of necessity be determined by how much there is to be done, or determined by the body to be done, at this particular time; as to whether changes are necessary or as to whether the conditions will be carried on.
4. (Q) Any medicine she should take of any kind? (A) There's been sufficient given! As we find, after there has been the determined outline for what is to be carried through, the properties found in the compound known as Tonicine would be well. This, to be sure, is a compound of properties that make better activity with the eliminations as related to the genitive organs and the activities of the Fallopian tubes, the ovarian activity. But if the plans are carried out for the eliminations (as is sought), then these properties will be very helpful in establishing a normal equilibrium. However, these that have been and are being determined for the activities are very good.
5. (Q) Is the colon in a better condition? (A) SOME better. The natural rest and natural activities in this direction will help. The strain or drain on the
903-20 Page 2
system has been in some respects helpful and in other respects harmful. But the rest and general activities that will be outlined for the body will be helpful also in this direction, if these are followed; provided there are not some conditions arising of a different nature that may cause distresses.
6. (Q) Are the mammary glands functioning more normally now? (A) More normal.
7. (Q) What caused her present condition? (A) This came from some activities that were not in keeping with the best for the body [contraceptives?]. Things used outside, that have been not so good!
8. (Q) The laboratory test showed negative. Why? (A) Because negative!
9. (Q) What effect has her husband's affairs had on her? (A) General strain on the nervous system, making for very detrimental reactions in many ways.
10. (Q) What will she be able to do to aid in establishing the work of Edgar Cayce in New York? (A) That depends upon the general health of the body, and the associations and connections that may be made in some directions; if it is the conclusion of the body that these would be the better.
11. (Q) Please advise her as to best plan for mental development this winter. (A) Those general lines of activity in which the body has been interested, and in following these out; in both the social and in the general activities for the educational, and entertainment; all of these should be considered. BOOKS may be the turning; and books, associations or reviews, would be well for the body, too.
12. (Q) Any other advice for the better welfare of this body? (A) The body understands; the body comprehends. The advice or counsel may be rather: Do that which is known by self to bring the better balance in every association and relation, taking ALL conditions into consideration that have been given respecting that which would make for the life and its associations a development in this experience.
